I transferred from Pot5 to JC and I don't regret it.

The real issue is how hard it is to get to influence 50. If they make that a bit easier to obtain than this issue wouldn't be as big as it is.

There are single player games for that.

WoW has credit spammers all the time, so no, this does not in fact fix the issue.

I'm not sure we needed another thread telling us how 'vets' feel 'cheated'. As a Vet, I don't so yes you are correct in saying not everyone feels this way.

If you put your expectations low, you can never be disappointed. The problem is you have them so high that any infraction causes you to feel like you are being cheated out of something, when it is in fact a minor issue.

Because 10 bucks isn't really that much compared to other games that charge over 30. I know it's not right to compare other games, but it could be far worse and that's the point I'm trying to make.

You always run the risk of losing a companion in the story now that they are allowing you to kill off or downright refuse companions. I like the idea as nobody is safe. The alternative is to make it much easier to level to 50 influence instead.

SWG gave me a feeling of massiveness I've never felt in an MMO since. However, it also had a whole lot of nothing in that massiveness. The crafting was great, the combat was 'okay' and the questing was a huge chore. In today's market of MMO's the game would not survive a month. People are to use to the model of WoW, accessible and simple. You're asking for disaster trying to revive a 12 year old model into today's modern day market.

I don't necessarily hate this event, but I don't like it either. I have legendary status and don't find a reason to level more alts. However, that said I will do the event regardless and speed through it to get my rewards I want, which is the companion. In contrast, I wish they had done something better for us Legendary status players and veterans who have been here since launch. Perhaps give us an exclusive reward for each year we've been here or something of that nature. As I said I am not mad I am just disappointed.

If they wanted us to re-level characters how about let us have an option to re-level our current characters to 65 again? I'd do that to be honest. But that seems a bit farfetched and difficult to pull off. Replaying the story with my main would be fun to me.

You have to do one thing solo and you are complaining like it's the end of the world. Your boyfriend isn't going to leave you because you can't do one part of the event with him.

I agree with what you said. I don't want retroactive rewards I was hoping for something else out of this event. Unfortunately, since I already have the classes maxed out. I may sit this one out entirely or re-level my main's class through the story as the other AC to enjoy it from another perspective.

Well this event is underwhelming. I already have all 8 classes maxed out and don't have a desire to level them again. I guess I won't be doing anything for this event.

Opened a ticket and got a response on this issue. It is bugged and the studio is aware however since it doesn't prevent quest progression it may be sometime before it is fixed as it is not a high priority issue. Sad to hear this as I really want to complete all bonuses available to me. Knowing that I can't complete this one leaves me with a disappointed feeling. I guess I'll just have to wait to complete Taris.

I don't know how to tell you this but the voice actor for Satele Shan is the same as the Female Trooper. Jennifer Hale is her name.
