All this tells me is they will, in usual form, gloss over the issues and ignore the outrage, then they will quickly move on to whatever event is coming up, try to wow everyone by going way overboard on some more crappy in-game rewards (new trainer, knock-off party jawa, etc.) move on to gleam over Life Day and then end on how they are listening to us and how successful 5.0 has been so far. Did I miss anything?

I have this bug on my main, and the only character I romanced her with. I did the cantina flirt thing after SoR and had flirt options about halfway through KotFE and my character had the "you started a romance blah blah" on Lana's sheet. Half way through KotFE, I forget exactly what chapter, but there is a flirt scene on the bridge to your ship on Odessen where there is a kiss before you go on the mission. I didn't get the kiss option and knew something was wrong. I put in a ticket and they replied that it was a bug and would be fixed in an upcoming patch... ticket closed and nothing since. Now, I get no flirt with her and the "you have started a romance" is gone from her sheet. I know it won't get fixed so I just moved on.

I've cancelled my sub. My sub ends on Friday. The LS is Thursday. What is said in the LS determines whether I renew or not. I hope to hear how BW plans to fix: A - The terrible RNG gearing system - Make it faster or not random. B - The anti-alt state the game is now in - I have not played any of my 17 alts since this went live for obvious reasons. C - The fact that one side in the DvL system winning non-stop is even a thing and how large zerg guilds can control the winning side at will. These are my top three that hold my continued sub in the balance.

You can do what you want, but this is going down just like many of us said it would. Here is the current situation of this DvL farce. The large zerg guilds are doing this just like they do the conquest system. The light side has the best looking stuff, so they are going full LS until everyone (or most) of them have all that stuff they want. Next you will see them swap to DS and do the same. There is nothing you can do about it other than select the current side they have decided will win.

Unforeseen!? What he needs to freakin do is say they are keeping the story and doing a roll back on the rest of 5.0 immediately until they can redo this terrible system.

More specifically, Producer Ben Irving and Creative Director Charles Boyd. These two were key in the development of this disaster. This article over at MassivelyOP shows just how far in the tank these guys are for this garbage. CLICKY I would hope we will see a departure from the company announcement of these two soon.

This post is exactly my experience and our play styles are identical. The only difference is I am letting my sub run out (12/9) and will just wait and see what happens.

I've been pretty negative here the past few days, so I want to jump in here and 100% agree with the OP while I have time left to post. I loved the story and had fun playing through it on my main and I think the writers did an awesome job... some things I might want added or changed, but overall I am please with the new chapters. The GC system is what is keeping me from staying, and nothing short of a rollback will change that. Thank you writers!

You all should know by now how this works. They will increase it next week with an apology, stating some mistake blah blah, then raise the CXP gain some so it is more than it is now thinking that it will pacify everyone who hates the system and everyone will be okay and just dislike the new gearing grind instead of hate it. More smoke and mirrors...

Just posting to say that while this issue has zero affect on me, I feel this deserves as much attention as the DvL Cheevo issue that has no affect at all on game play. Not that the DvL thing wasn't equally important to those who cared. I hope they get this sorted for you all.

I'm not so sure about that. There are many other ways to purposely tank your own game that are much faster, less expensive, and less obvious. I think the game's management team is delusional and cannot see past their own nose despite what all evidence is saying. I honestly believe this current team of developers want to do good work and make this game fun. I absolutely believe the team of management for EA/BW Austin has no idea what they are doing and should be removed from the company immediately. It is clear that management of this game has lost its way and is doing nothing more than doubling down on failed and ripped off ideas moving forward.
