  1. It can be dyed because it's what my main wears and it's dyed. If you can't put in a dye kit then that is certainly a bug. As far as the collection issue, I have to ask the most basic question: did you equip every piece so it unlocks on your character?
  2. It's 3 days if you're F2P/Preferred. At least, it used to be.
  3. The character using the equipment has to meet the minimum level requirements, but basically yes. For example, I have a set of legacy gear that I passed back and forth between my Commando and Mercenary, since they both use the same set bonuses. Legacy gear can be used by any character on your legacy, and legacy gear allows you to pass bound mods (armoring, mod, enhancement, augment, hilt, barrel, colour crystal, and tunings) to other characters on your legacy. The caveat with colour crystals and tunings is if they are CM items they have to be unlocked for your entire account in order to pass them.
  4. For future reference, if you claim something on the wrong character you just have to wait 3 days (IIRC) then the item will unbind and you can transfer it to another character. Also, most Cartel Market items (armor sets, weapons, mounts, pets, etc.) can be account unlocked in your Collections once it has been unlocked for a character on your account. Once it's account unlocked any character can claim a copy from your collections. Right now, with the current sale on Collection unlocks, would be a good time to unlock something you want available across your account. This also applies to CM items you buy on the GTN. They can be unlocked too.
  5. If you destroyed it (dragged it out of your inventory and dropped it) you'll need to contact customer service to see if they can do anything about restoring it. Whether they'll do it or not I can't say, but it's your only option.
  6. The ~$30 two month subscription is a one time payment, it doesn't automatically renew, so there isn't anything to cancel. When your time runs out your subscription will be downgraded to preferred. You can't cancel early and save the remaining time for later use.
  7. More than likely you'll get a code that you can send to the gift recipient. They log into their account (swtor.com, not the game) and redeem the code to add it to their account.
  8. Came back from a hiatus almost a year ago to find my guild has died. I have stayed in it mostly to stave off the guild spam but wouldn't mind some people to talk to or group with on occasion. I'm mostly on Pub side with a couple characters on Imp side. I mostly keep to myself, play solo stuff. I do do some conquest stuff, an occasional FP. I haven't done an OP since I got back.
  9. You can either buy mods on the fleet, which has a full series for each level, or you can buy them on the planet you're on, but will be limited to the levels that planet covers. For example, Coruscant is max level 18 and there are mod vendors for levels 10, 14, and 18 on planet. On the fleet there are mod vendors starting at level 10 and progressing every 4 levels until 42, then it skips 6 to 48 before going back to the every 4 level progression until 60 when it skips 5 to level 65. Where they are on planet varies, obviously; on Pub fleet they're in the south east corner and Imp is north west, IIRC. By the time I get to Coruscant I'm about level 18, so I just buy those green mods and wear them until I go to Taris. Then I'll buy the next set. The vendors do carry a full set of armorings, enhancements, mods, hilts, and barrels for that level. What you use depends on your preference. Some like to front load crit, since it's not capped. I tend to look at the galactic command gear and model after that. That's not necessary the most effective way of doing things, but it makes for a steady progression on stats and the story game is so easy already I don't see a readon to make it any easier. But that's just me. Level sync (or level shift) caps you to the level of the planet you're on. So my lvl 70 Sage in 246 gear has the mastery, endurance, and power of a level 18 character when on Coruscant. Crit, alacrity, and accuracy are not capped, but you will see a slight loss due to the cap on mastery. During the story gear doesn't make much of a difference, but it does make some since crit, alacrity, and accuracy aren't capped. So while my Sage is capped at 18 on Coruscant I crit like a 70, which makes doing H2's easier. What you run your comp in depends on you and your class. I've found that when I'm on a heal capable class, such as Sage/Sorc, I usually put my comp in damage or tank mode, but when on my Shadow/Assassin I usually use them in heal or tank mode. It just depends on how much damage I'm taking. Comps don't benefit from gear anymore, what they wear is purely cosmetic, but they do more damage, healing, etc. depending on their influence. During the story it's really easy to gain influence now (my Mando's Jorgan is over rank 30 from just the story), but if you have an older character it only costs about 120k credits to go from 0 to 20 influence on a comp with green rank 1 gifts (the legacy perks make that cheaper and more bearable). Zero to 20 is a much bigger difference than 20 to 50. Not that there isn't a difference, but at 20 most comps will be able to handle anything but the harder content.
  10. Because we now level so fast, and level sync is going to cap our abilities anyhow, what I do is use a set of adaptive gear and when I go to a new planet, since I'm usually over level, I just buy a set of the highest level green mods available on that planet. For ear piece, implants, and relics I just use whatever I find or get from heroics. I do this until I finish chapter 3, then I run heroics to get to 70. Any gear upgrades will then come from the H2 crates. When I hit 70 I buy a set of gear from the galactic command vendor. During the story gear almost doesn't matter.
  11. I'm confuzzeled. I'm now in Colorado, just east of the Rockies, but I lived in California when I started playing SWTOR. I started on Jedi Covenant, an east coast server, and almost exclusively play on that server. I do have characters on and occasionally play on Harbinger, though. The below screenshot shows my ping time to JC (left), Harb (middle), and a new character I made on an EU server for this (right). JC and Harb are both consistently around 60 ms (+/- a few ms with Harb pinging a little higher). The EU server, Progenitor IIRC, is about 160 ms (again, +/- a few ms). Now, 160 is certainly greater than and worse than 60, but all are playable. I'm no saying that you don't have an issue, but I'm wondering what your ping times were before the move and what they are after. Because, like I said, I almost exclusively play on JC and my ping has always been about 60 ms. https://ibb.co/jLWjoG
  12. No. You stay at 100,000 dark points and accumulate light points until you reach 100,000 light. Your alignment will change as you move down through the dark ranks until you reach neutral. Then, when you hit 100,000 light any new points you earn will be deducted from your dark points until they are all gone. During this time you'll move up through the light ranks until all of your dark points are gone leaving you with 100,000 light points and light 5 rank.
  13. Oricon and Iokath do show up. Makeb does not. My main was created in 2012, long before Galactic Command, and completed Makeb in 2013. I took a break from the game and since coming back Makeb has not shown up once in the Galactic Command planetary rotation.
  14. The mission terminal, either on planet or on the orbital station, for Republic and Imperial side show the weekly as giving the same CXP as a regular mission. https://ibb.co/iWyGFw These are the missions offered on the terminals. https://ibb.co/kX7nNb Which is different from the missions offered on the Fleet (only Republic shown here) where no Weekly mission is available. https://ibb.co/dAuOvw Compared to, for example, Iokath. Here showing the correct amount of CXP to be awarded. https://ibb.co/jKftTG Either someone forgot to adjust Makeb's weekly mission to award to increased CXP as per the patch notes for 5.5a, or there is a different mission that the patch notes refers to. One that is not offered in game. Additionally, Makeb does not show up in the Planetary Missions rotation for Galactic Command.
  15. Sorry but, you're wrong. "The term Gray Jedi, or Gray, had two meanings. First, it was used by Jedi and Sith to describe Force-users who walked the line between the light and dark sides of the Force without surrendering to the dark side, and second, it described Jedi who distanced themselves from the Jedi High Council and operated outside the strictures of the Jedi Code. However, those who were considered to be true Gray Jedi met both qualifications and did not belong to any particular Force tradition. One example was Jolee Bindo, a former Jedi Padawan and a Gray Jedi that served the Old Republic." http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gray_Jedi This is what people mean when they talk about Gray Jedi.
  16. Not sure if the OP is still active, this post of almost a month old and so is their date of last activity, but I've always wanted to do a static group play through. I usually play on the Jedi Covenant server, but can play on any server. Hit me up with a PM if you're interested.
  17. That makes much more sense if the SI is light or light gray, which, I think, is why some have surmised that the SI is canonically light.
  18. At no point does Ashara reject the Jedi code, but like Qui Gon she does acknowledge that the Jedi code and philosophy has some flaws. It's arguable that Ashara is very pro-Empire. She frequently points out it's flaws and, if the SI is light, works to reform it from the inside in order to bring peace to the galaxy. Like Qui Gon, Ashara engages in some questionable activities that the Jedi Council definitely wouldn't approve of, but she sees as working towards the greater good. Hence my characterization of her as a utilitarianist. It's hard to say what Qui Gon would have done with regard to Sith since the only one he ever met was Darth Maul, and Maul wasn't in a talkative mood. Qui Gon likely would have gotten along with Lana. Yes, light Jaesa would fit in well with Kira and Nadia, but I was specifically talking about dark Jaesa. Further, isn't dark Jaesa canon? If she's ever brought back Bioware is going to have to decide which version, light or dark, is canon, because non-SW's will have to get one version or the other. Unless BW does something like give Rep's light Jaesa and Imp's dark Jaesa.
  19. But she works great with my light sided SI. I've seen Ashara on both sides of the light/dark coin, and in either case she never goes all in one way or the other. She stays fairly gray no matter what the PC does. Unlike Jaesa. Ashara seems a lot like Qui Gon Jinn to me. She acknowledges both sides of he force, and while she doesn't go completely to one side or the other she still acknowledges her Jedi teachings. She seems like a Jedi utilitarianist to me. Jaesa, on the other hand, reminds me of Niftu Cal from ME2. Like Niftu on Red Sand, the dark side is a drug for Jaesa and she falls hard for it. I saw a discussion of the lost female force users and how they could be brought back. One person suggested that it would be cool if they teamed up. Canonically I think Jaesa is supposed to fall, and there is no way that Kira or Nadia would work with dark Jaesa, and I don't think Ashara would get along well with her, either. I could see Kira, Nadia, and Ashara teaming up for some reason; possibly even to stop dark Jaesa from doing something psychotic.
  20. Yeah, but what about all those great SGR options, amiright? It's not like my Sage waited five years to finally meet someone who he could flirt with only to have him betray us. Silly me. All I had to do was go to the dark side and I would have had that (flirt) option years ago with someone who either dies or disappears never to be seen or heard from again (my Sorc is still waiting for you to acknowledge that kiss Cytharat ). Seriously though, I don't think it's so much that Bioware hates straight women or LGBTQ people; we're just not their target demographic. It's not hate. It's just that we don't matter as much.
  21. My very first character ever was created on Jedi Covenant and for most of my play time I play on JC, but I lived in California at the time (now I'm in Colorado). I've played on every North American server and even a couple Euro servers and haven't had any problems such as you describe. Could the problem be with your ISP?
  22. Theron's first shot was a stun, which, though intended for you, didn't keep Lana down for very long. It may even be that Theron knew, knowing Lana and her capabilities as well as he does, that she would jump in front of you and take the hit herself. Next he shot out the window giving you a clear escape route. My Jedi romanced Theron, we waited a long time to meet the one, so when this all went down I was pretty annoyed that we were losing our love. But upon reflection, considering the above, and the way Theron says he loves me, I'm starting to buy into this double-agent hypothesis more and more. Theron is a spy through and through so he would be constantly on the lookout for threats against the Alliance and his love interest. I wonder if he feels a little failure at not seeing the threat and attempt on our life that occurred during Eternal Throne and is taking this extreme course as a result.
  23. Gonna wrap this all in a spoiler tag in case someone doesn't want the spoilers but below basically lays out the rest of the story. Obviously spoilers ahead, but I try to refrain from being to spoilerific.
  24. Doc vs. Quinn. Who is the better healer? Umm, Tharan. He's so awesome he doesn't even need a medical degree.
