  1. theres no reason we cant have both. heroics were a great stepping stone before jumping into flashpoints. i dont think any mmo has ever suceeded by REMOVING content
  2. I also am enjoying going back and running planets long forgotten. And im glad that others are doing these missions too. I really dont want to rain on everyones parade just to challenge myself more. I stand by the idea of heroic solo duo and 4mans. i think thats the best diplomatic route to keep us all enjoying the game

  4. agree, greater rewards for greater challenges. They've been backing away from customizing stats, but im sure they can have a more generic matrix cube with mastery now.
  5. Well said! I agree. The heroic +4's were a great way to forge good players into great ones. Pushing your character to the limits and building a great base for future ops and hm flashpoints. Unless you guys want to release expansions every 3 months, a challenging raid system is how to keep players interested. And heroic +4's are the first step in that system!
  6. Phoenix you're my hero! And take it one step further. Have a few loadouts for equipment and specialization. I play a guardian for example, Id like a pve tank pve dps and pvp temp that i can switch between with button clicks.
  7. Fantastic idea! if this is at all possible this should be a thing! Fine tune the sync a bit, and perhaps include some better rewards for those completing planet story arcs. Better custom gear or even cartel coins for example. That way encouraging ftp players to do all the missions, find out how awesome they are and invite their friends. Next thing you know they are subscribing or buying Op weekly passes, and boom profit!
  8. Or how about just making sure every companion has a "LOVE" gift whether they are romanced or not? and if romanced then courting ALSO becomes a loved gift. Easy fix no?
  9. The level sync is the best feature in the game right now. Other games have mobs "grayed out" when under your level. they don't even attack because its trivial. OF COURSE its trivial. Whats the point in marching through an area being completely indestructible? Or maybe have a group of level 65's ganking level 20's on nar shadaa attempting open world pvp for the first time just like wow! right now i can refer a friend into the game and play with them side by side and have FUN. without level sync this would be impossible until they cap level or i roll ANOTHER alt. I can run with them through the flashpoints on level, they can learn how to play their class in a challenging and fun environment. There is a reason that video games with level scaling are immensely more popular than their counterparts. Enjoyed KOTOR, dragon age, mass effect? all enemies scale to your level. but that doesnt work in an mmo. so we scale to theirs. the alternative is divinity 2. If you max out your levels even the last boss can be afk auto attacked to death. it was a laughing stock.

  11. I agree 100%. im just returning to the game after a couple years off and my only concern with the game is how insanely easy it is. I think the division here is based on the alliance box rewards on the heroics. If there were heroic solo missions for boxes, and heroic +2 and +4 with greater rewards and challenges i think everyone would be happy. I dont consider taking a half hour or longer battling through a challenging area with difficult enemies a grind....thats the game. What feels like a grind is mapping to an area called heroic and letting my companion kill everything til i collect what i need to collect and map out 20 times a day.
  12. interesting. everything i heard of the trooper storyline before reading this post said it was a dud. i played a bit of it, i didnt hate it but wasnt enthralled. besides that i got consular and knight storylines. knight was pretty fun. there were some obvious holes that i had to overlook but besides that it was pretty great. consular was friggin great! i enjoyed every minute of that one
  13. yes good is going to win ultimately...but its not the destination, its the journey! its not whether you win or lose its how you play the game oh and besides...this games story isnt going to end. its going to continue as long as there are enough subscriptions to keep it going. if the war ended while this game was still popular....that would just be awkward...regardless of who won! It is a dark time for the galactic republic! thousands of jedi trying desparately to catch up on meditation. troopers washing speeder windsheilds since theyve been laid off, and smugglers suddenly finding themselves as the bad guys with no tanks to back them up
