  1. From what I can tell, even if you kept the shells that now contain those set bonuses instead, they now show as requiring levels 50-74 to work, meaning they cease performing the stated buffs at maximum level.
  2. I think if you need gameplay for the ruler portions of eternally commanding, you will only ever get that if you think rp qualifies. Or maybe Eternal Alliance Commander (EAC) gets up to admin bs on their own while you sleep. In my KOT? playthroughs I'd sometimes focus more on giving Outlander a sense of agency by picking dialogue options that make it seem like doing whatever happens next was my idea. But in all, chances are you are right. We certainly looked foolish with the Theron business. The way things are likely headed the takeaway will become either EAC is bad at holding onto the throne, or at best, a puppet of destiny. I'd been hoping for a different resting place for the Outlander in Legends. What if, with a Sith Empire throne vacancy, we went on to take that one as well? Inherit everything Tenebrae ever had. Even if you’re a jedi or scoundrel, now you’re double emperor too. Destiny demands it. Only you have truly earned it. For the sake of the galaxy, the Sith need taming. And now even major Republic worlds, tired of endlessly falling corrupt governments take note of the stability you have brought. They will vote to unravel the senate and join the United Empires. The Sith will be happy enough with a peaceful takeover, they might even be impressed. Thus maybe, finally, the story could reflect what PVP has been demonstrating all these years: SWTOR is all about Imperial domination. Give us faithful imps the faction victory we deserve. And there you have it. A way to commit real resources to a imp v pub story by telling it for all classes from one side. Then time jump to Prince/Princess, Outlander progeny raised with a faction neutral transatlantic accent Carrie Fisher tried pulling off briefly, and the story of how continuing to peacefully rule the entire galaxy requires transforming all of UE into a new Republic (one that kept the Imperial crest) The end.
  3. And yet, crafting schematics don't fit into any equipment slots, so what does this actually mean?
  4. Despite the bottom bit of this article: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20180227 Please fix!
  5. Pretty sure non-subs level slower.
  6. Check out the unpopulated pvp instances maybe?
  7. Luckily I noticed I could quicktravel to camp after each objective.
  8. I may've read somewhere that GL drew on eastern religions for a lot of his ideas about the Force. So, considering Hindus place something similar to our concept of Satan in their version of the Trinity, I think it's fair to say the Dark side is meant to have always been with the Force. Can't have life without death, right? Dark side's default function might simply be entropy. The idea of Balance, then, can't mean the eradication of the Dark side, as that would be impossible, but of its (ab)users. After all, if I understood what Bane was about correctly, even a single Darksider potentially has access to Dark side's entire power pool. Conversely, they'd have access to less of it the more Darksiders there were. Anyway, once no is using it, the Dark side just goes about its usual business, killing everyone suuuper slowly. I bet that, in pursuit of balance though, the Jedi must've often turned genocidal. Interestingly enough, Dawn of the Jedi comics (which I haven't quite finished reading) deal with a pre-schism order on Tython to whom Balance meant somehow maintaining a connection to both sides. Or rather, never turning too much towards either.
  9. Can't he, instead of leveling a whole new sage, make a 60 token char, exit out of Kotfe w/o starting it, and then do all conversations with any given vanilla companion? ETA: No
  10. Eh, why not. I'd be fine with a grinch shield that melts the first snowball that hits you and thereafter grants a debuff to being thrown at for like, half hour at a time.
  11. Can we bring this back as a context-based ability that pops up much like the new heroic moment/huttball/whatever? In any stance.
  12. It appears to me that sync gives everyone the same stats regardless of gear, is this not correct?

    Quinn

Currently we cannot kill Quinn, and I suspect his trajectory through class story won't change, in case he's needed for something in Kotfe. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with how I reconciled him staying on with my DS warriors: Toss him in cyborg gear, and imagine you brought him back from the brink of death, having bashed his head in, only that he may live on in agony, forced by machinery to bow to your will. Frankly, it's a far worse punishment. Even more amusing, (considering further conversation options) he would remain blisfully unaware he's running Windows.
  14. I tend to alternate between taking chars through Makeb or Ilum for the 50-55 stretch.
