  1. What do you really expect from us that lost time, currency, items, and in some cases, real money on this? An uplifting post congratulating devs on another successful blunder?
  2. Hi Tait, that's nice and all, but how about just cut the shenanigans and just tell me when am i gonna get my 4 command levels and the 230 shield i got from my random-cash-grabbing-crate. Sincerely, A player since beta that is having cold feet about re-subbing.
  3. Basically, Bioware should just understand that raiding is the reason this game still has subs. . You mess with raiding, you kiss buh-bye to the rest of them. I don't know anyone playing this game for dailies
  4. same here, i didn't bother with the f2p switch, the smash/bubble buffs, the constant recycled content, but this change is really making me think about quitting the game. Cause, from all the recent Bioware mistakes, this is the one that will affect my "fun factor" in the game, i.e: having to go through lame, mind-numbing repetitive content CONSTANTLY to be able to experience the cool parts of the game. This is just not wise.
  5. this change seems to be in accord of Bioware's new trademark: "fixing" what ain't broke. But this time i think they went too far.
  6. Really, who the hell on their right mind will stay through a group finder KP, so an idiot will run into the droid rooms and cause a wipe (if you do lots of GF like me, you guys know it's almost a tradition to someone run into those)? As a tank, i know i won't.
  7. What i meant in my post is, with 20-50mil, you have a lot more money to burn, so this will not hamper your progression. But the guys with less money, without time/desire to do dailies, will have to devote LOTS of time with something they don't like/have time just to do the things they like, effectively spending more time doing grindy/boring stuff just for the sake of doing the fun stuff.
  8. If you think high end content is the major selling point of subs, they should be encouraging it, not the other way around.
  9. In other words, this move only hurt the people who already don't have much time/money and/or hates the daily grind. If you have 20-50mil+, you pretty much don't give a rat's *** to repair bills.
  10. Trust me, you're not the only one. This move kills every last bit of fun from the end game activities. So why would i continue to pay for an entertainment product that fails to entertain me? I don't think it's fair for me to do something boring so i can have some fun.
  11. To say this is a bug fix from "gear shells" and that is "working as intended" is just not true. There's just two choices: prices were increased deliberately or it's a nasty bug. I have a character on full columi (and columi shells too), that used to pay 30k average on repair bills before this patch. And now im paying 70k+! There's no "low level shell" involved!
  12. That's a good point. Who benefits from this change? I just can't see. Players doing quests don't, neither the ones doing flashpoints, and even less the raiders. I think Bioware knows the bulk of the sales in the Cartel Market are not from free-2-play players, but subscribers that are spending money on the shop on top of their subs. I just don't think it's wise to mess with the biggest reason many ppl (including me) are still subbed for this game: *almost* hassle-free raiding. If they mess with the only thing that keep me pouring money into this game week after week, why would i pay for it? Like someone said it, have 2/3 of boring content to be able to do 1/3 of good content is not that money-worth for me. It really need a fix ASAP.
  13. I know some of you devs are new and stuff, but the repair price was decreased on 1.2 for a reason. Don't know what was the reason? The sub numbers will explain to you soon.
  14. I just wanted the Sith Warrior's Champion/Battlemaster set without those horrible spikes on their shoulders, a.k.a the Thana Vesh's set. here, this one: http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/10022.jpg
  15. Wow. Just..... Wow. EDIT - It's funny how a guy who was crafting 27 Resolve Hilts and charging a 500k tip told me he sold 20 in one morning, making 10 mil in the process. In one morning. And prolly more, cause in 20 crafts, there's a high chance one or more crits showed up somewhere down the line. That show us (and "some" crafters) that selling a truckton of crafts at low price (even at 100k, or even at NO TIPS) is better than post some ridiculously overpriced item that takes a long time (if ever) to sell. But hey, that's just me.
  16. I think it's too easy to cap commendations too :x
