Your mistaking me for someone that cares what EA does, or reports. I'm not the poster who made the original point. I was simply playing devils advocate here, because to assume that no publicly traded company will ever lie to their shareholders is really naive. I'm not saying EA did or didn't do that. But I did give a personal example that businesses can and do lie to shareholders. I also just plucked enron into the convo to drive the point home, simply because it's one of the better known circumstances. But if you hop on google right now, you can find companies that have done similar even as late as 2017.

This went on as little as 2 years ago, so it happens a lot more than you think. A quick google search will give you a lot of results of companies that have done exactly what you are saying they can't do. Do some go to jail? Sure, but obviously that hasn't stopped the crimes from happening. To act like the law is a 100% deterrent, and no one would dare to break the law, is folly. But if you believe that, I have some premium crime free real-estate in Detroit for sale you might be interested in.

I hate to break it to you, but companies do it all the time. They know the risk, but when millions and billions are involved they do their best to get creative with the numbers in hopes of not getting caught. Heck, I was part of large billion dollar company that was over producing product, but making it look like the finished products had been sold to vendors and no longer part of our inventory. It was to inflate the stock prices for share holders, and appear we were doing better than we were. They were able to get away with it for years. So yes, companies can, and often do, lie publicly. Enron anybody?

There is an upcoming star wars game that's in development now. People initially thought it was going to be an new mmo, but based on the job descriptions post, it's going to be the star wars version of destiny.

EA would rather put out a new Star Wars game than throw money at a product they have already deemed a failure (SWTOR). They'll let it run though with minimal staffing until the end of their SW license agreement, just so they can milk every last dollar. They're truly betting on the success of the upcoming Star Wars pseudo mmo (think destiny, titan fall, division, etc) to be the saving grace for their retention of the SW IP.

No but they have a fully done (huge) Zakuul mansion stronghold that's been done since before manaan, but they shelved it (likely for 6.0)

What about those men's underwear that you can get? I forget what they are called, but can't you dye those?

Here's the kicker too. According to the rumors/leaks, the bulk of 6.0 was already completed prior to the dev staff being gutted for Anthem, but instead of releasing it to us, they have held onto it and have been trickling it out slowly, since they are uncertain about their future as a studio.

There is a no current exploit. What you are seeing are the billions upon billions of credits from the last exploit that weren't removed, now being shuffled around. Couple that with normal supply/demand and that is why we see the current inflation.

It's hard to say, because everyone's taste are so very different. One thing that is great for getting an idea of what you want is to open up the collections tab. It has every armor that has ever been on the cartel market in it. You can then click on each armor set and see the individual pieces. From their you can preview what your character would look like in each set of of armor. You can even check what dyes will look like by leaving the preview window open and then going to the GTN and searching dyes, and then shift + right click to see that dye color on the armor in your preview window. Good luck, and I hope you find a set that suits you.

Remember they waiting for the Anthem launch and to see how it does, and if EA will shut them down or not. So they are saving development from having to work really hard this year in case they do get shut down. So they are going to dangle us along until next year when they find out, and then they will actually put in production time to finish the 6.0 update (if they are around still), and we will get new content probably about mid time next year.

I quite literally did the exact same thing! To the same stronghold even! So my Manaan stronghold was 100% done and it had a very sweet bounty hunter hideaway theme. But then Rishi happened. It started when I just needed a couple of decorations that I had there, and were not on the GTN, or abysmally over priced. I promised myself that I would come back and right my wrongs in the very near future, and that it was only temporary. Sadly, by the end of my Rishi deco'ing, I had fully removed every last decoration from Manaan, and de-listed it publicly. lol So even though my Manaan house is now a clean slate again, I'm still in love with the Rishi stronghold and ship. I really had to make some very hard design decisions too at the end of decorating Rishi, as I ran into the limit. Rishi really needs about 100 more deco item count to be fully done right. But with that said, I'm proud to finally have it completely done! Now I can get back to actually playing the rest of the game, lol.
