I get it, I'm a huge Mass Effect fan myself and a KOTOR 1 and 2 fanatic before that. But even then you can't really compare SWTOR to Mass Effect because Mass Effect was one studio putting every bit of their resources into one single player story. SWTOR has eight of those, PLUS faction stories, PLUS all the other **** that comes w/ an MMO. Mass Effect was great because they were able to make a very immersive Universe with many different options on how things can play out, and while this game does have those same options, they number far less simply because they have to spread their resources over the entire game. If you think you want class stories, I'd imagine the devs want nothing more to continue them as well. But ultimately they answer to EA. It was EA who decided the F2P switch, and thus the gutting of studio, ever since then content that was originally planned back before F2P has been milked back due to less employees. It will be interesting to see what happens when all of the pre-F2P content is used up and they start implementing new things.

1.0 was in development for 5+ years. In general the people on these forums complaining about the lack of content have no real idea what coding entails and how time consuming it really is. Take a Computer Science introductory course and you will find that designing even something as simple as Yahtzee, Solitaire, or Frogger can be at times frustrating and incredibly time consuming. Now step back, and be thankful for what you have.

The PVP community is significantly smaller then the rest of their demographic, therefor they are prioritizing PVE above PVP in the short term to please the bulk of the playerbase. The only way to get more PVP content is to grow the PVP community by recruiting non-pvpers to try it. Hell I was a strictly PVE-er until Makeb, the subtle detail of adding the pvp terminal on the Gravity hook was all it took to get me to try it, and grow to like it.

Lets bring the rakghoul event back too! Obviously not at the same time, but maybe after 2.2?

One little thing that bugs me most about the SI story was at the end of Ch. 2 when you go searching in Thanaton's library to find a holocron that says go heal your body on Belsavis. Wasn't Belsavis a huge Republic secret, and only recently discovered by the Empire? How would a Sith know about it at all?

So now that ROtHC is completed (with good praise), what do you guys think we have in store for upcoming expansions story wise? What we know: The empire's only real break has been Makeb since the war started (Taris doesn't count), they have lost Balmorra, Quesh, Correllia and Ilum. The Republic on the other hand is starting to take the offensive. Seeing as many elements of SWTOR borrow from the movies, I don't see the writers stopping now. My personal theory is that the Emperor will come back and crack the whip, initiating a savage counterstrike to regain the upper-hand (Empire strikes back anyone?) The empire begins invading worlds with resources to make a push for the core worlds. Assuming chapter four will have three planets, my predictions would be on Manaan, Kashyyyk, and then something completely new. Manaan has Kolto, plus it's a water world, something we don't have yet. Kashyyyk has slave labor, and really, REALLY tall trees, so it's fresh in a sense. (insert 3rd planet here) could be isotope-5? Tell me what you guys think, and post your own ideas!
