  1. Well just off the bat you have way too much accuracy you want more like 758 or so, you either just have too much or you don't have the 1% bonus from companion affection, either way you need less. As for crit I would recommend about 2 pieces of it or so depending on you gear level but if you don't want to its fine but you'd probably notice it on the dummy. I personally only run 1 alacrity piece but you might find more better , honestly the accuracy is your biggest problem ,take at least 1 piece of that and put it into something else preferably crit. I can't really say much about your rotation without actually seeing it but i will say your apm is a tiny bit low especially considering you use force speed in the parse.
  2. By live i mean on the live servers and not the PTS, but yes before nerf.
  3. I hadn't parsed for awhile, bought some adrenals and got this: Lightning-5017
  4. Got a slightly better lightning parse than my last: 4904 The crit on this one was very good.
  5. I'm not really arguing for or against the 1.5 mil but i do think you are wrong on some points Top parses are not just luck, no one gets top spot with luck alone , you need to know your rotation/class very well and you wont ever see someone at number 1 and think "oh well they don't know their class, they just got lucky." You bring up sustainability and mention force storm filler parses but don't mention any other specs. It's also very obvious to spot a storm filler parse (hint apm) I don't mean do insult anybody who uses that particular rotation, but some people don't take those seriously or maybe as seriously would be a better way of putting it. I also don't see it as viable in raid settings simply because of resource management I don't see 1 mil parsing as ego stroking at all, it's more of a friendly competition and a way to see who knows the class the best or who you could seek help from if you don't know it so well, its also about testing yourself and this will be true for any health amount whether its 1 mil or 10 mil and sticking to 1 mil adds more convenience time wise and credit wise (adrenals/stims, this is the only point i'll make in favor on 1mil). I also believe that top parses have ALWAYS been about god crits and rng but the top parses aren't pure luck and unless some spec is found that is pure faceroll it NEVER will be pure luck, you have to know your class very well to make that luck count "This inflation of cooldowns is much worse now that the DPS levels are up across the board, and it unduly penalizes some classes while unduly rewarding others." could you give some examples from 3.0? BUT I do agree that the time difference between a 4800 parse and a 4900 parse or so is very small, but it still isn't all about luck.
  6. Finally got one worth posting: 4871 Old 4 piece and new adrenal with mix of 192/198 , had to parse in the early morning to mitigate ability delay.
  7. It is actually worth a lot more than it may seem, while the hilt itself does give you willpower it also gives you another stat called "Force Power" that isn't obvious because it doesn't say it on the hilt , but on the actual saber stats like this if you look at that saber it gives you 1006 "Force Power" which depending on what level your hilt was before, can be a big upgrade(it boosts your bonus damage, it's sort of like the "power" stat). The bonus to your bonus damage affects the strength of your force attacks so it doesn't matter if you actually use the light saber for anything it will still help your damage or heals. Also it seems worth mentioning that the armoring you put into your offhand also gives you the "Force Power" bonus.
  8. Pretty sure I found it if its the one you're looking for, go to the classic gear vendor for agents and preview the Dread guards field medics blaster rifle.
  9. I'll just link to Nibbon's thread, it has all the info you need to know.
  10. 2719 DPS Same gear as before, most mods around 69 all augment with +32. 72 offhand 69 mainhand 5/5/36 madness Most definitely a SORC this time (just a little extra luck this time).
  11. Oh lol sorry for the confusion, sorcerer it's some weird bug where it shows up as assassin in parser.
  12. 2613 DPS 5/5/36 Madness spec sorc. Gear is a bit of a mix atm some mods from 63-72 mostly in 69 range. Used Arkanian SA relic and Dread Guard Power click. Also, all gear is +32 willpower augmented.
  13. Would you guys be interested in a sorc dps?
  14. Yes all the specs should scale I think and hybrid will get even better with more points to mess around with. I did some parses with the specs above and it just didn't work as well as plain hybrid. The problem is that instant chain lightning needs lightning strikes and you are forced to use wrath on lightning strike which creates issues with trying to keep crushing darkness up and using lightning strike during its cool down along with force lightning to get procs which sometimes don't happen and you end up with chain lightning sitting on your bar for no reason and all the skills in the lightning tree are wasted. It just come down to the fact that using 2 different fillers for 2 different things just doesn't work as well. I'm not saying they are terrible just not as good as plain hybrid. This is the spec I used for hybrid and this is a parse using it. The other specs above didn't do much worse, I managed to keep around 2500 with them which isn't that bad and they might even be more useful with adds and trash when it comes to chain lightning, we'll just have to wait and see, after all this is just on a dummy which is only gives you a general idea.
  15. Since everyone else is posting PTS parses thought I would put up a parse I did. Don't post or anything like that obviously. (EDIT: Did another parse with 2632 after I learned the new re usable stim.) http://www.torparse.com/a/140008/time/1361583796/1361584372/0/Overview
  16. Hybrid is hands down the best, what people don't mention when they post those dps numbers about the BiS set ups is that they get those using SimC which is flawless dps that isn't really possible in game. Lightnings problem is that there aren't many fights where you stand still the entire time, anways heres the spec I use for hybrid. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201oZfcM0bZcMfRsbkrc.2 Its pretty simple just keep up dots, use death field, and use force lightning as filler.
  17. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/0868cf08-0fd8-499f-a0f6-1f1dd34965ba Theres my gear, it's more about rotation than gear.
  18. Jurbeke: 1/12/28 Hybrid Sorc 1925 DPS http://www.torparse.com/a/128814/time/1360559366/1360559668/0/Overview
  19. Couple of things about your gear, you need to replace any lettered mods like "Mettle mod 25A." Youll also want to replace the Black hole earpiece with the rakata one, it has almost 20 more willpower. You should also work towards getting custom belt and bracers. One last note, replace the enhancement in you helm with a quick savant one to better balance your stats.
  20. The best option for PvE damage is hybrid spec, you can see the build and my gear here. The spec is pretty easy to use and doesn't take long to learn, you just keep up DoTs and death field and use lightning as a filler. This is a pretty good guide to the hybrid build (in republic terms). I used to run lightning but between the in game lag and the loss of dps during movement I switched to hybrid and noticed a big boost in dps (100-200). I linked a parse of karagga on sm below as proof that it does pretty good dps. http://www.torparse.com/a/124741/30/0/Damage+Dealt
  21. Yes, thats alot better you still need to get rid of some mods though.
