  1. West coast for the most part. 4 of us are in cali and the others are central time zones. Around 7pm-ish till 2am is when we do most of our group stuff.
  2. Greeting new players I am Darth Duff'ate of <Order Through Force> and our guild is looking for new or old players. Check out the Guild Recruitment forum on The Harbringer for a place to start your adventures in the Galaxy. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=8662840#post8662840
  3. Greeting Heroes of The Harbinger, I am Duff'ate, the Nothing of <Order Through Force>, and I invite all new or veteran players to join <OTF> as we restore Order throughout the galaxy. A brief history of the guild: <OTF> was formed by Krule, Bountiful and myself on Rakata Mind Prison during the original per-release of SWTOR. We held strong through the beginning phases of SWTOR focusing mostly on PVP. However when the first PVP season failed to begin on time many players left the guild and the game. Because of this the three of us began to focus more on Pub side PVE after the great merger (when most servers shut down do to the low level of active players). We moved to The Bastion where the three of us cleared all nightmare content. After a bad falling out with the guild we were in all three of stopped playing SWTOR all together. Sadly moving on to DayZ or back to WoW. Current Stats of the guild: In this current expansion all three of us are back and planning on rebuilding the guild from the ground up. As of now we have a core group of six players with a few random players I invited to get our GBank and stronghold started. We have only been active for about 2 weeks but are currently clearing SM OPs to start gearing up for HMs and Nightmare OPs in the near future. Current guild goals are to get everyone who actively OPs to be in 216 or higher gear then moving on from there. We are a casual guild with no OPs schedule atm nor do we plan to have one. Our OPs schedule is more of a "who want's to ops?" then go from there. We follow the strict loot rules of one token per player, pre run. Thank you all for taking a look at this post. If you want to join feel free to message Wacktits (aka Krule/Impo/CoachP), Avici'i (aka Bountiful/Bluntiful/Shaniqua) or myself Duff'ate (aka B'ate/Sl'ate) <Order Through Force> restoring Imperial Order throughout the galaxy one Planet at a time.
  4. The Galactic Council - We currently have 2 groups of 8 mans one group is pushing NiM content and the other is clearing up HM Ops. On Mondays we run a 16 man guild HM TC. http://galacticcouncilswtor.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=469771&TabID=4052985 The Core group pushing NiM does ops Mon-Wed 8:00pm-10:30pm ish server time. Our other group runs on the weekends and Thursdays, i think, same times.
  5. Yes, it has come to this. I always find myself wanting to post something then half way through i just delete it and move to another topic and repeat.
  6. I want to have the game that Chewie and R2-D2 were playing on the Falcon in E4 but Han and C3PO told him to lose so he doesn't lose an arm, i want that game in game on our ships. Invite friends ang guild mates to some SW Chess.
  7. Whenever i come up with a topic or something to discuss i seem to stop myself about half way through typing and realize my topic is a below avg concern or something that will be overlooked but this time i want to bring up my "thread starting phobia". To start i would like to point out i am one of those people who only talk in a VOIP when i feel its 100% necessary otherwise ill type in guild/ops chat even after playing with the same groups of players for over 6 months. I'm friendly with all of them but when its 4 of more in a channel i shut my mouth and type, no clue why but its a habit i noticed. Anyhoo back on track, I want to add more constructive info to the forums but i seem to box up just before clicking the "Submit New Thread" button. Anyone else get like this? I hope this helps others out like myself. Duff p.s. - Also i HATE when a person would start a topic only to see it 4 or more pages deep with out the OP ever responding outside of starting the topic.
  8. If they make exciting or appealing space missions why not have an OPS or FP that is a Space Mission? Free roaming flight missions in Star Fox or it could be the intro to a FP or OPS. IE - Kill the generators while taking out ships and other vehicles, then fly into a huge base with small objectives. Land. Continue the OPS/FP.... I don't see why this cant be done.
  9. " If it really bothers you that a dps meter is held to be the skill of a player then you have never played or cared about endgame content." If that is the quote you are talking about. I am not the one using dps=skill as a standard, im refering to other raiders in a group posting meters when it does nothing and is useless. When Player A pulls 1003834872dps but dies in p3 fire every attempt, that is not skill. When Player B pulls below avg dps but avoids all mechanics. We both agree to take player B over A. Peer Preasure? Really? The ignore feature is there for a reason. To ignore players that trying to "peer preasure" you.
  10. This argument is split into two sides, the players that want a dps tool and the others that dont want a dps tool. However the reasons to have them are split up into so many micro-reasons that don't add up to much. Pros - Show your dps, helps max your rotations or see when/where your dps drops or peaks. Cons - None. That's it ^^^^. All i have read is that "players will kick/nag at others players not doing great dps" This argument is void. You are trying to use a player by player stand point to defend something that has no in game impact. Adding a meter wont "buff" or "nurf" your class. Why be so agents it? Because you, yes you, were that one player in a group that was "CUSSED OUT IN ALL CAPS" or the dps at the bottom of the charts. Don't take away MY DPS meter to make MYSELF better as a dps. Anyone not waiting a dps meter has not and will not adapt to a change. If it really bothers you that a dps meter is held to be the skill of a player then you have never played or cared about endgame content. IMO the easiest way to fix/add this is to make an option to OPT in to the dps meter [ ] Join group Damage Meter [ ] Show damage meter [ ] Track your Damage with a Damage Meter Bam, if you want to track dps turn it on, if you dont want to be tracked leave them unchecked. If a ops or party member tell you to turn them on or you are kicked then why be in that group at all or make your own OPS and call the shots. Think out side the box.
  11. After a day of looking things up online i seem to have put myself on the right track. For the moment i am using the MK-9 Accuracy augments along with a few items with Accuracy Enchantments and I'm now sitting at 109.34% Accuracy. Went from 1750dps (+-100) to 2100dps (+-100) Now for the last question i have before moving on is what is 1% Accuracy rating at level 55? Once i get that figured out ill be on my way
  12. Greetings fellow Sages, I have recently swapped over from WoW (been playing since retail beta) then started SWTOR when it was in pre-release for those who purchased the collectors edition before retail release. And then quitting SWTOR at the release of 1.2 (no team queue with 8 for War Zones killed my guilds momentum for pvp, lost 25 active members ) Then after 4.3 came out in WoW my core group stopped playing, Also no more dragons made me sad. Anyhoo now I'm back to SWTOR as a Sage DPS. Now that i know ill be sticking around i want to optimize my gear for Nightmare OPS but fist things first, i need to be accuracy capped before i do anything else. As of right now i am pulling 1700dps solo with only the Knight and Con buffs but i know i could be pulling more if i wasn't resisted as much. My question is what items should i focus Acc on, ie - left side items or right side items. I have used sites like Ask Mr.Robot to do my own customizations to full sets. But i think i could have a better optimization for End Game content. As for now i just am looking for ilevel 69 mods or enhancements that would best boost my Accuracy. Ill be on later tonight after work so feel free to send my in-game messages with tips or tricks you might know. May the force be with you, Duff
  13. Bump My boots and pants only have 50 expertise each and not the full 100.
