  1. http://raidbots.com/epeenbot/ They keep track of older raids that were posted in World of Logs. They even keep track of when content patches are released. Unfortunately, the % numbers go down because people go back and clear T11 with T13 loot, etc but you can measure yourself against where others stood during timeframes. I was surprised they kept track of the old data, and was nice to see I still ranked in the 95+ % for multiple toons.
  2. I actually laughed out loud because I can see the irony.
  3. If building the "perfect" tank is your goal, then you would use: http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/bounty_hunter/powertech/#::e2fe10fe2f2e3f2ef11ef10ef11 With the DPS nerfs, talent nerfs, threat boost, etc we are not required to push out max DPS anymore, but should be pushing for solid defensive stats, that includes endurance. There are some other threads in the Operations forum about the value of endurance and projected outcomes for Nightmare and TfB release. This is the spec I run, I still do solid DPS, and can tank anything in my way.
  4. The difference is Icecrown Citadel wasn't completed in 1 day upon release like this was. For example, due to lack of tanks, we didn't even attempt Kephess until 3-4 weeks after release and killed him the 2nd night of attempts (3 attempts 1st night). Their introduction of Blackhole comms and how easy it is to get, enabled the high end raiders to basically get BIS in no time at all, so there is zero reason to keep raiding. We want Nightmare, or a new instance and the new instance to be more difficult than the faceroll it is now. It isn't too hard to ask since people are leaving in droves aka server merges.
  5. You should go back and re-read the entire post before commenting.
  6. That isn't the only way to cause a wipe either. There are several others that I will not post about that are just as easily done by one person.
  7. - Addition of Nightmare Pilgrim lockout - Removal of the Nightmare Pilgrim debuff that lasts for 5 days. - Target debuff filters for your debuffs only. dispellable, etc etc etc. All mentioned above. - Buffs/debuffs able to be separated from the target/self healthbars.
  8. Cannot stress this enough. Last week, I was in our raid and cleared Nightmare Pilgrim, 16HM EC in the same night under 4 hours. This week, I sat for a trial tank, and of course same thing happened. I guess I could try and pug a HM denova 8 or something, but that will be painful with the people on my server doing pugs. It isn't pretty and I would rather save myself the headache. So I have literally zero reason to log in to this game for 13 days (time of last kill I was in to next week reset). I already have multiple 50 alts, and frankly I do not feel like leveling anymore. I am afraid to say, that if we do not get any word on when content will be released whether Nightmare or the new Op, myself and many others will be canceling and going back to WoW, or GW2. We aren't the only ones analyzing these options either. Other high level guilds are going through the same motions.
  9. No for both PvE/PvP. Several people have posted proper talents on this board, just spend a minute or two looking at each thread and spec and pick the one you like the best.
  10. There is a thread discussing it right now. The logs need to be made clearer so we can really see what is going on, and make determinations. I am under the impression tanking is broken right now because of their initial design. Until a hard cap or HUGE DR is met, increasing defensive stats should be a priority if they designed the hit model correctly. For hits to bypass the 2nd roll check entirely is garbage.
  11. Has BW officially said it was on our end? I haven't seen anything, and I sincerely doubt they would be so shortsighted to think that.
  12. It used to be willpower, so you were half right. Before 1.3, it scaled on Willpower, 1.3 changed it.
  13. BW won't do anything about that. It is a contested zone, open world, etc. This was their design intention. As mentioned in the multiple previous threads, Nightmare Pilgrim is only an issue for same faction griefing. One person can wipe the entire raid repeatedly.
  14. 4 skillful players and a cooperating bug-free time was what was required. Because /stuck no longer takes you back the start point in there (verified by MULTIPLE people), you will need at least 6 people to cycle through. The more, the better tbh.
  15. From 1.3 patch notes: "The amount absorbed by Blade Barrier now scales properly based on character stats." The question is, what stats. It makes no sense to base it off things the Guradian/Jugg will not stack, but who knows sometimes with this dev team.
  16. I would like to thank the Dev team for mentioning our guild in the podcast, without mentioning our guild name. It was very rewarding to know that you guys were watching our PTS streams for 1.2, and even giving us nudges in the right direction as we were learning the mechanics of those fights. It was also rewarding that the mechanics changed the next few days after our stream conversation with regards to the knockback from Z&T hitting everyone. Again, thanks! With that said... While most of the community will thank you for the insight about Nightmare, etc we still don't have an estimation on when it will be released. The state of end game raiding for your selected few guilds that push through progression is pretty bleak because there is a lack of difficult content we can cut our teeth into. Guilds are falling apart as people move onto other games, with several top tier guilds quitting completely and went back to WoW. If we have to continue to wait months for new content, or even Nightmare content, more guilds will fall to the wayside and you will be left with the handful of guilds to test this content, and a majority of lesser skilled players that will complain the content is too hard. Sorry if anyone finds this offensive, I call it as I see it. All the server merges did was delay the exodus for a little while longer, but unless something is released "soon", or a timeline is released, it will continue to be the downfall in end game raiding.
  17. PvP is broken. The devs that designed PvP in this game came from another failed game with no longevity, so it is pretty clear to see why it is broken here. Def/Shield/Absorb should apply to every attack, not just physical.
  18. This outside tool is useful in determining how to min/max your character, or identify problems in your raid because you have 3 ranged dps that cannot even beat the tanks in overall damage. It doesn't play your character for you.
  19. We sure about Blade Barrier? I thought they changed that recently to scale off tank stats. Possibly armor? I do not know for sure, but was fairly certain they changed it.
  20. It was so bad on Tuesday on Stormcaller, we actually halted raid, went outside and spent 20 mins forcing ourselves into another instance server. Then recleared trash and killed the rest of the encounters with less lag and less problems related to lag.
  21. What we have noticed in the last few weeks is that it doesn't matter what you do as a tank. The last rock throw will be an agro wipe and he will turn to whichever person hits him 1st, usually a dot class. We tested it several times in a row, and each time Zorn threw the rock, if a DPS hit him with an ability, or a dot tick before the tank, he would instantly turn to a dps and the tank has to AE taunt to get it back to prevent fearful. Immediately after is a leap as well. Anyone else notice this?
  22. Kihra - There is one thing with your theory. We do not know what Nightmare has in store for us. They could implement attacks that are affected by our mitigation stats, hence maximizing secondary over endurance would be higher priority. At this time, it is just speculation and until we receive any indication of what is in store for us from the dev team or pts testing it really won't make much of a difference either way. I prefer the WoW model anyway where we could push the huge hits off the table by reaching a set avoid/mitigation number. I believe it was 102.4. Been awhile tbh.
  23. You didn't have to clear trash again because there is no trash between Pylon completion to SoA. Once you down Pylons, you can reset the instance, switch instances, etc and it won't matter. There is no trash.
  24. I haven't actually checked to know with 100% certainty. However, Nightmare Pilgrim has an ability specifically called Mental Assault which is the whole reason for the inhibitor in the first place. I would assume that it would not work for Fearful. I could be wrong, because Z and T is easy enough as it is without the need for using one to see if it would work.
