  1. Think there's any chance of the community ever being able to drive this home?
  2. I'm surprised to hear that, although I suppose I shouldn't be. From a near-outsider looking in, it seems like EA/Bioware have a chance to make this game truly prominent again, considering financially it's set up really well right now with a healthy amount of subscribers and other players. I suppose I'd need to see how bad implementing cross-server queues would hurt their bottom line and how long it would take to rebound in order to make a truly accurate assessment on their point of view. I don't know. I just see lost opportunity happening right now as we speak.
  3. I just read this. All I can say is... wow. Such a short answer and compared to the response on many issues, doesn't seem to be something they think would be good for the game. Seems like it would be the most important thing to do IMO. Let people be able to queue and jump in, in at least under 5 mins, for GSF too.
  4. Totally. This seems so very essential. I really hope they surprise us all.
  5. Is this your way of saying they should not do cross server? If so, I'm sorry but again, waiting a half an hour or more to play the content you want is not fun, especially when you have limited time due to RL obligations. If I somehow misunderstood your point, apologies.
  6. The game seems to be healthy and growing from what I can tell, which is surprising and one of the reasons I looked this way again. I would hope (although not foolishly expect) that devs in this type of situation would take advantage and start implementing systems to make these people want to stay. Implementing cross-server functionality seems like a pretty important thing compared to say, Galactic Strongholds. Just saying. Don't get me wrong, I like the content and stuff they are making, but I want to love the PVP here again and I am not sure if that can happen long-term without cross-server Q's. No one wants to sit around and wait 20-30 mins or more for PVP.
  7. I am sure this subject is beat to death somewhere on here, but seeing as how I'm working and don't have a lot of time to go through all of the forums, I just wanted to make this little post. I am a returning player and I haven't been in this game since about 4-5 months into release. I was a HUGE fan of the PVP and hit War Hero and got fully geared and all that jazz before losing interest due to what I thought were bad changes and of course, broken Ilum. Upon returning, I'm really thrilled with how well the game has aged and I find myself loving the combat all over again. I also got to do a Galactic Starfighter match the other day, and I must say Bioware did a great job with this. I had an absolute blast. So, this all being said, I just wanted to throw out there that I really, REALLY hope Bioware gets cross-server queuing in at some point. Have they said whether they will or not? If no information, do you think they will? Would be so fantastic to be able to get in game and not wait a long time for WZ/GSF matches. Again, I've only recently returned, so I won't pretend to be the most informed. If there is anything I clearly don't understand or know about, please let me know! I just want to learn what's going on and what the plans in the future are regarding these issues. This all being said, it feels good to be back and I hope the feeling lasts. EDIT/NOTE: I'm on the Jung-Ma server.
  8. I have a great computer and typically do not have issues other than Ilum, when there are a lot of players. That being said, the MAJORITY of people I know in my guild and elsewhere, are having terrible issues, particularly with PVP warzones. Why is it that even when you turn the game all the way down, certain things seem unaffected (even after restart) and it doesn't help make the game run as smooth as it should? This being on computers that easily exceed minimum requirements, and then still even match the recommended? People ARE starting to lose their patience, and as much as we all want to love the game, not being able to participate in fluid, responsive PVP combat is taking a toll on us. Bioware... please, PLEASE, don't worry about new content or anything else until the game is fixed the way it should be. Get it running right, so people can experience what you already have in place the proper way, THEN start adding new content. How can anyone even enjoy the new content, if they can't play the game the way it should be?
  9. I agree totally with the OP. I like this game, but it seems as great as voiced dialogue options are, more should have been spent on all of these things.
  10. Can we please get a response/fix to this issue? It is getting aggravating after a month. G13 user here.
  11. I totally agree. I saw that they had "something for everyone" in this patch, and after reading it, I feel just as BS'ed as if I watched an infomercial. I'm an avid PVPer and RPer, and this patch doesn't satisfy me in any way. We still can't even sit in chairs, I mean, you have thousands of chairs... and everyone seems to have severe hemorrhoids... Don't add any more stuff please Bioware, just fix what need to be fixed, the things that other standard industry MMO's have. It's ridiculous.
  12. Ilum, I won't add to what is already obvious. I think PVP in warzones is at least good, if you have a top end machine. What is really bothering me, is the amount of friends that I play with that complain about performance and lag. We can't do warzones because their machines, though way above the minimum specs, are still lagging out with the settings down. Please, focus more on optimizing the game, immediately. Make it friendlier and less resource heavy. New content doesn't mean anything if people can't enjoy it and control their characters properly due to severe performance issues. We intend to be here to stay (friends and guild) but I don't know how long people are going to pay a subscription when in PVP they really can't do anything but watch enemies and allies skip around the screen like teleporting ninjas.
  13. No lack of patience here, just been reading that I should get in fast now, some saying even 5 mins after. So just investigating
  14. I bought the game and started my SWTOR account and everything today. That could be part of the reason for the delay... but yeah I fully bought the game and put in my code and everything.
