I'll accuse you of not reading things... Apparently when you were 'reading' it, you missed the part about by end of day? -

The note said END OF DAY, why are you people on about waiting patiently for his update now? It's only 9:43 PST as I write this.. -
Excellent. Reading these two chapters before playing the update really helped me get into the groove of the ingame story. Nice work!

Anyone else having trouble connecting right now?
Darth_Cynos replied to HaoZhao's topic in General Discussion
Aye, same issue. Can't get back in. It's telling me to check my connection. Connection is fine. Off to work, hopefully it'll be cleared up when I get back. -
Grown to like it, imagine that!

Whomever designed this system, why? Why hooks? They kill the natural feel of any place, I can't even get a large bed to fit symmetrically against a wall in the Kaas estate, run out of NPC space in 5 minutes, and there is no interactive quality to furniture. I thought at least that one thing would have been a minimum requirement, it feels like no thought was put into the use of these things. Another chair I can't sit in, and another bed I can't lay on. Someone grab me before I get swept away in the realism. After having this update pushed back to ensure it came out the best possible way, I'm concerned about SWTOR's vision of what good content actually means. So much energy into such a small, and awkward, housing system. No open world access, paying for a balcony, and so on. Hopefully the next update (can't call this an expansion, sorry) will be worth the wait. This game could use some more natural elements to bring players together in real zones, not more zoning, loading, detached, separation. Just my 2 creds.

awesome! -
Not really a new player, but I just want to double-check before I get started on this. I'm 55 sorc healer, and have always been focused on PvP (other than the regular missions). But I want to get into the end-game PvE content and was curious on how to start. Is it best to just run Flashpoints and Hardmode until I have the full Black Market Force Healer MK-1 set, and then move into the harder stuff? I don't mind the long grind, I want to learn the runs, get my PvE skills up to snuff and not ruin any higher geared pugs at the beginning. Any other tips welcome. Thanks DC

Can we please separate the regular queue from Arena Queue?

You obviously maintained enough interest to quote and repost what he wrote... -

Queue separately until they sort out the imbalance. Getting stuck in a 3v4 is no fun, especially when you are 3 dps v 3dps and a healer... which has happened to me more often than I thought it would. I just want to avoid the ridiculousness of those games. -
Because I had to catch the bus to work. brb after my shift is over. GOTCHA!

I like to keep calm in PvP, my chatter is mainly calling numbers and letting people know where I'm going. 3 inc east; 2 guarding mid; omw pylon.. that sort of thing. I'm also a healer so once in a while I'll have to remind people not to run around corners if they want health - but I try and do it nicely. Also the same if I'm the last person on a node, eyes on the console or whatever, if my patients stray too far out of range I suggest pulling back for heals. It's bad business to take your eyes off the node, I consider it a cardinal rule. I admit to having gotten angry though, if I see a last defender leave because they get bored, and don't ask for a replacement. And we lose it to a ninja. Easy stuff like that. But it really only works against me if I let it take hold and distract me. Even when it's a sure loss I still push ahead, if nothing else it's more practice. And often people get careless after short bouts of domination, almost like they relax and assume it will be a win. I've turned matches, and had them turned on me because of that basic psychological element.
