  1. Very simple answer I shall give you. There were only movie back in these days, no other book/comics/games, especially games, that made every sith shoot lightnings and choke with force, every jedi mind tricking and force-healing (sick). I think nobody was thinking back there "Every sith have control over lightnings and can force choke", rather "It will be cool if Emperor would shoot lightnings out of his fingertips, this is so evil! And the Vader guy, he will choke one of his lieutenants without even touching him, that will look so awesome!".
  2. There is some healing debuff in pvp, they just need to fix this number I hope, and everything will be fine. Oh, but first, let the game be on market for at least a month, so they can make level ranges in pvp, so you won't be thrown at lv10 to battle lv50. I think, that would make sense, that after every month or so, there will be new level ranges, like 10-30 and 31-50 after first, 10-20, 11-30, 31-40, 41-50 after two or three etc.
  3. Medpacks can bring newer recipes? I am Cybertech, and every 2-3 re-eng I gain new, blue recipe. Guess it will be harder for blues to turn purple. I upped my Mods and Armorings.
  4. There are, in my opinion, three issues with datacrons (DC): 1. Some are hidden in hidden places. I follow a guide to get all the DC while leveling, so I won't have to go back and look for them later. How glad I am I did it. One of the DC was hidden in a zone, with entrance not visible on map. There was an elevator that had button bringing you to another level. I would never guessed where this was, even if looking all over the planet, in every hole there was, running up to places that were not intended to be reachable. This was really stupid idea, I doubt anyone found this DC by themselves. 2. Some are reachable by jumping. The jumping mechanic in this game is not good if goes to precision, and there would be no problem with it at all, if not for the fact, that we are required to use to jump very precisely to get to some DC. 3. This is the most stupid thing I ever seen when searching for DC. You have to sometimes wait for some flying object to pass you, so you can reach the DC location. These wait times are 20-40 minutes! What the hell, Bioware? You want us to stand in one spot for 30 minutes, waiting for stupid balloon to pass? Seriously... I found many, neatly placed DC while travelling. Some were visible from one spot, and you had to search for the entrance, some were just in some nicely hidden zones, that looked really climatic (especially the ones on Dromund Kass, i loved these in narrow passes), some were in some "jumpy" locations, but not involving too much skill, and the places were very clever. Some are just in such stupid places, you want to kill everyone responsible for this.
  5. It is really simple. You deal more damage, have more crit chance, deal more heal with Cunning. You deal more damage and have higher crit chance with Aim, but only for non-tech abilities. You should ALWAYS choose Cunning over Aim, I would dumb Aim completely in your place, even no selecting better gear if it provides Aim instead of Cunning. Power increases damage dealt Tech power increases overall technical damage, it's something in par with weapon damage Crit rating increases your chance to critically hit Surge rating increases damage dealt with critical hits
  6. I understand the issue, ans as Powertech, not having any long term CC, I try to cooperate with others on this matter. For example, when someone saps enemy (the silly stun for minute, that breaks on damage), I pull him out of the fight with my grapple, and can start AoE'ing like psycho. Yes, bounty hunters have a lot of AoE capability (or CC breaking capability), and I think everyone with it want to use it. It's just hard sometimes to aim it properly, not to break CC. I suggest you don't get over it, this is important that other players learn not to break your CC. Crown Controlling made some outnumbered group battles possible to beat, and as I mentioned, not being able to help much in the matter, I still tried. HINT: Grapple does not break CC, as it does not deal damage. Tested, and worked every time.
  7. I remember, back in World of Warcraft, I leveled my first character on different server, than my pals were playing. Deleted him, and started on the new server from scratch, but before doing so, I gave everything to one random character I met, all my bags, gold, and other stuff. He was squealing with happiness.
  8. Think about it. If you are paying more money, than you get from the boxes, maybe that is what they had in mind? There is really other use for slicing, than endless stream of credits, like getting the recipes etc. If you are loosing money from slicing now, you must be doing something wrong. There are some people on the forum that are still making profit from it, but well, they cared to actually try to test the skill, and not go to forum to whine about nerf the second they noticed a slight decrease in creds. Really, stop this, slicing is not skill to bring you millions of credits without any real effort. What I agree is, that they could increase drop rate for recipes if it's actually too low. But hey, if it is low, that means these recipes are worth more, so maybe it's actually balanced on this line?
  9. Two facts about slicing: 1. The way to make outstanding profit with it was NOT to send your companions on highest level missions. You should look for good guide, that states the most profitable mission range for slicing to make really good money. This is the reason slicing was tuned down, if you knew how to use it made too much profit. 2. Slicing provided some crafting recipes last time I saw it... Not that you can, like, sell some for few thousands each to other players. EDIT: Looks like it provides even better stuff, missions are really expensive stuff last time I checked. So, taking this into account, slicing was too strong, and provided too much cash on lower levels.
