I'd give it an 8/10. I really liked the story, thought the pacing was pretty good. The whole "sponsorship" thing cracked me up! I agree with the poster who suggested ignoring LS/DS points during the story... that's what I did and I thoroughly enjoyed making choices based on how I thought my character would react, not based on silly points.

MY next billing comes on May 22, so I guess BW has 1 month to fix this.

I play PvE only, and I really don't like the huge damage reduction of HSM. I could live with the reduction on TM BECAUSE they boosted HSM. Now? Meh... don't even feel like logging in anymore.

Did some testing last night... heat sigs are definitely working. It's gotta be armour penetration (as said in the previous post).

I have zero interest in swinging a lightsaber. Are there any other cool sci-fi MMOs out there I should try?

Yeah, he does kinda suck. But he's so damn adorable! Especially with the new "dance with companion" ability. I could do that all day! (and as an Arsenal Merc, it's the only thing I can do right now)

If HSM really is "working as intended" right now, I'm really disappointed. Merc BH is the only class I really enjoyed playing. I have other characters but I only play them when I want to take a break from my Merc BH. Now? Not really feeling the impulse to play at all. Not going to cancel my subscription or anything (at this point, since the next billing cycle is the end of May), but I see myself losing interest in this game by then. Kinda sad, it's the first MMO I've played for more than a month since SWG.

I liked the post 1.2 Merc gameplay, to be honest. I understand that there was an issue in groups where heat sigs were applying from multiple BHs and that needed to be fixed. But from what I've seen, they've taken the heat sig bonus away altogether and are saying that it's now working as intended. I really need someone from BW to say "Hey, we messed up when we tried to fix the other issue and we are working to get it working again".

Are you serious? This is the way it's going to stay?

Any word on when this will be fixed? I'd like to play my BH again...

I never have to resort to rapid shots in a long fight... you need to manage your heat better.

Yesterday? No, my damage was fine. Today? Haven't logged in, though others are reporting that they screwed up the Heat Signatures...

WOW, 12 hours after saying I was enjoying post 1.2 gameplay they ruin it... guess I'll be playing one of my other characters until they fix it.

I think I enjoy playing Merc even more now than before 1.2... there's a little bit more to the basic PvE rotation, you have to pay more attention to what you're doing. Plus I love seeing HSM hit for 8724 on a crit.

I use an Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD. There is a noticeable performance increase over my old 7200rpm HDD. Win7 and SWTOR both installed on it.
