  1. I always pick the bad ones so my face can look scary for next halloween
  2. It should allow it under certain cirumstances. For example too many imperial players on my server. I want to switch to the rebels. But with my money and items being imperial i dont wish to for the simple fact ive already invested much time into my bad guys. Should have a universal bank/cargo hold that is account bond and allow items to be switched that way. Not to other players but to yourself. Yeah i can run rebel missions and in time probably get what i have on the other side, but i just simply dont want to. Im lazy.
  3. biggest problem are you guys. The game is new, just like in any game it takes time to settle down, finding out what needed, getting leveled up. You guys want instant riches and instant selling. Not gonna happen. And the more you cry wold, the more this game will change and get nerfed and just suck. Just sit back and wait awhile, not games economy is ever sound with in the first few months. You guys are killing the economy
  4. Sorry i made a lot of typo's. I try to type faster but make more mistakes. I guess i could have been a little more polite about it. My apologies :/
  5. no not realy, 5 pages of this junk already. Taking away from important things like actual crafting Everyone has to have their 5 seconds of fame, ill go make my post now..

    Slicing Nerf

did you realy have to make your own post about this? Not like there arent 5 pages of this already. No slicing is not a good profit profession now. Yes you can make profit but at no rate as before. You can still make more from gathering and missions from other fields, and pvp'ing and warzones. Making slicing a 2nd rate profession now.
  7. Its not biowares fault, its the little kiddies that dont understand economics, supply and demand, and the fact the game is new and the economy hasnt settled down yet. They wanted instant riches and got jealous slicers found a way to make a large profit. Not understanding most those large incomes were from people rushing to 50 and had 5 companions to work with. Thanks the whiners that cant figure out how to make money on their own and call everyone else an exploiter.
  8. slicing didnt need ot be nerfed. 1 hr slicing = 1-2k profit now with 1-2 companions roughly 1hr gathering with 3 gathering skills i managed to get roughly 240 mats. At 20 credits each average sale price thats 4800 credits per hr if they sell. Not including sending my companion out on missions to get other things you are looking at around 5500-6k profits. Pvp/warzones last around 20 minutes each, can do roughly 3 per hour. Take home about 1500 credits each not including the commendations. Thats 4500 per hour not including sending out your comanion on missions while you fight. Average take home 5500-6k per hout. How is slicing so bad when you can make just as much doing the other 2 options? Its just something for people that have no clue to b**ch about to make their jibberish sound important. Most those people that rushed to 50, had 5 companions to work with so did make a killing. Any lowbie wont make that at all. Its the facts of life. You wanted instant riches, and instead of just shutting the hell up and picking slicing, or even making an alt for slicing to make riches, you killed the profession and the trickle down effect it had. You guys are idiots. I think thye should charge you guys 1500 and 60 minutes to farma node and then tell me it was still a bad thing. I made more from doing the other things than slicing. The nerf was overkill, 70% reduction this early in game was just a ignorant move on BW part.
  9. Just another dumb post with trvial jibberish and no solid facts. Obviously the ones against slicing that have never used it. You can tell from the garbage spewing frm their mouths. 70% decrease = overkill and the cost of missions = high. Why not start taxing nodes for other profession, because honestly i dont feel that they should get their goodies for free when others have to pay for their items. Every click on a node will cost you 1250 credits from now on. See how that does. Because of you morons crying about slicing, my material sales have gone down hill since the stop of money has come into the game. You idjits obviously dont understand this is a new game, economy has to play itself out for several months. The slicers were paying the rest of you worthless crafters to do your job. As pvp'ers and hardcore combatants arent going to pay you. THey get everything they need from fighting
  10. Lot of times when a new game is released, the economy and crafting items are a wreck. It takes months to sort out and for things to balance. Crafters got mad because they werent making 100k profit in a day. They dont understand the game is new and dont understand supply and demand. Some things are worth anything, while other are. So instead of giving it time and letting the economy build itself. They cried and cried and demanded a nerf. Now since the nerf i notice a lot of stuff on the market is not moving now. Because no one is making money. Even with slicing making a huge profit, they bought mats and other items galore off the market. Now the money machine is dead (so to speak), no one is buying much. Now these little ones crying nerf, cant even sell their mats because 90% of the slicers were buying them up like crazy. You basicaly hurt yourself. I made tons selling mats on the market. Since the nerf, i barely sell these mats now. You killed your profit due to being inpatient and demanding instant credits for your items. Not even knowing the market, you got jealous and now......
  11. You need a more powerful machine to run TOR. Didnt you read the system requirements for the game? You also didnt post specs of your laptop. But considering its 3+ years old you probably dont have the graphics you need, memory, or its probably not fast enough proc. Buy a new pc. You can get a quad 4 system from walmart for like 400$ or just upgrade your laptop.
  12. No, its the combatants and the little kiddies being greedy and whinning about loot drops that made crafting worthless. Once upon a time crafting was great, worth while, and offered much to everyone. People have a hard time paying crafters their money because they think crafters dont do any work. And why should they recieve a payday just slaving in the crafting lair. Though they dont understand crafting is probably the most work heavy profession in the games But they have no problems charging outrageous prices for their loot and dont mind paying the high prices thru the game mechanics. No wonder the economy of the world went to s**t. No one seems to understand it anymore lol.
  13. Yes this is true. When speeders first came out they were high priced, but settled down soon as more people made them. But the prices in TOR are high though. And the wait on the starships to travel (10 min) actualy seems better than the hoops we have to go through to travel in TOR also lol. I think it takes about 10 minutes to go through all the proper steps to go from planet to planet.
  14. I have 3 crafters, please dont defend the over priced items in TOR. It takes much $$$ to get crafting going, mats, reciepes, then all the other stuff on top. It is outrageous. I end up pvping more to make $$$ for my alts. 40k just to ride? Hate these new age mmo's. SWG bought a speeder for 5k-20k and we was off. Here you wait till 25, and pay a huge fee, its a pain in the rear to be honest.
  15. outrageous how much everything costs in this game and they gimped the only profession that can make decent money........ 40k to ride a mount? 1.5 mil for a mount, oh my.........12k for a new look for your companion (seriously?).......... so much more over priced junk in TOR.
  16. You do realize it takes a good bit of time to walk to your ship, board it, get to captains chair, pull up map, pick area you wish to go, cut screen, walk to back of your ship to exit, cut screen, walk from ship to elevator, take elevator to starport, exit starport.........right there you already wasted 10 minutes. Id rather wait in one palce so i can do companion missions, go through inventory, communicate with the people around me, and take a piss once in awhile.
  17. resets and you lose all your pimped out cool schematics also.
  18. Thats not good for the games economy. And i dont believe that. You will have tons of new players and alts running around. Much more money selling to them than pvp/raids. Millions upon millions play this game, not all rush to 50. And crafters can make some nice items for higher ups as well. Crafting should be a huge part of the game and the economy. Hate games based off of loot and crafting gets put on the back burner.
  19. On a side note, people with slicing before nerf would trickle their profits down. Now you wont have that btw. So for all those crying about slicing (when you could have picked it up or just been happy selling higher priced mats to them) you took away the cash flow. Dumbies. Now have fun filling the void with the high prices of SWTOR items
  20. Not when 95% of the server does the same thing. It takes no time to harvest nodes while out killing (gaining xp and credits). Slicing took long times and the return is poor now. With all the high priced items in this game you will have a hard time as a new player. Sorry but seen mats going for 100+ each and a crafter can not make a good profit in a crafting field unless they charge outrageous prices also. Lo level mats are easy to come by, flood the market and prices will drop so you wont make that amount of money in a few days when everyone switches to gathering skills. By nerfing slicing you force everyone into scav or bio. This will kill the economy. Rather have slicing make tons than the rest of the crafting field being gimped.
  21. I have 4 failures today, rest were not a large profit gain for time spent. Hours out on missions for 200 credits here and there. Slicing is worthless now. Everything costs an arm and a leg in this game (12k for a companion look for example, 40k for speeder access), yet they nerf the only way to earn credits. Crafting is poointless until the economy settles and that can be months. 60 minutes = 200+/- credits, not including total failures= total BS. Make more pvping, and not all of us want to do that 24/7. I swear they are going to add a cash shop to this game soon and soak real money out of us also because even a basic heal pack costs 100-300 credits fora beginer? Thats insane.
  22. sounds odd, are you sure the character was 100% deleted? Or maybe its a popular name.Or server hasnt updated? No one ever uses my names in any of the mmo's ive played, so all is good. Find a more rare, odd, misspelt name you can think of in the future.
  23. Thats going to kinda suck. Having hundreds of players in my farming areas :/ Maps to small, spawn rates to long, and not enough nodes. I like people, but not ones trying to take my stuffs
  24. 8 year strech isnt a failure. At the time it had a very strong player base, even after the NGE. For its time, then wow killed everyone. Lucas Arts killed SWG, and they will kill TOR eventualy.
