  1. Yeah same here. No characters listed when i know i made them on release so ... =/
  2. The solution to endgame is not to roll alts, whether bioware wants it to be or not.
  3. I totally agree with you about the jedi knight story. It was so boring in places and it really didnt feel like i was a jedi at all. I actually felt more like a trooper or a soldier or something. Just because you're being hounded by a sith doesnt make you a jedi, anyone can do that. I feel like the jedi story should have more to do with the force, as it stands at the moment i was a little let down
  4. Ok, so i had a peek at this and it seems like really smart thinking Anyway, my question is this. I only have 6GB in my laptop. Now im not entirely sure how this works but it seems like you're dedicating a section of the ram to be used by tor. If i do this with 6gb of ram will it choke up the rest of my processes? Is it just going to force some of the cache in virtual ram anyway, which would nullify the point of this? I know you said you should do it with 6GB or more but i just wanna check this 6 is actually enough >< anyway, thanks for taking the time to share this its a really good guide and a really good idea
  5. I really dont have this problem at all. I get all my quests, i go "oooh, look at that, this one is next to that one is next that one" etc. etc. i take a squiz and figure out what order im going to do them in, i do them all and then i come to town *once* and turn them all in and level up. My problem with the game is how linear it all feels. Let me show you how they all work: Step 1: class quests sends you next area of planet/new planet Step 2: collect all quests for new area Step 3: do quests in new area Step 4: come back to town and turn in all quests Wash, rinse, REPEAT ((( Its so freaking monotonous. Especially coruscant where new areas are literally seperated from the other areas making it feel sooooo linear and boring. And then, to make it even worse, bioware rinse out maps too. Like how every single spaceport is exactly the same but with different furniture. Even the vendors are in the same spot. I literally feel like i havent changed planets at all. And probably the biggest disappointment was how the fleets are exactly the same. When i saw the imp fleet i like "that is so cool, omg i wonder what the rep fleet will look like!". So you can imagine my disappointment when it was EXACTLY THE SAME IN EVERY WAY. And unfortunately this is really typical of bioware. They are one of the biggest perps of repeated content so i shouldnt be surprised im just disappointed in you bioware because in 2012 and with the immense resources a company like bioware has you'd think they'd be able to come up with some different stuff. Its a big job and its costs money buts its just sooooo worth it because everybody hates recycled content
  6. Well after reading most of these posts i thught id share my experiences as a sentinel player. First off, i am not a very experienced mmo player. I played wow for probably a month, and i managed to get a few characters to level 30 but i couldnt seem to break the 30 mark. So, you could say that im a bit of an mmo noob, a hotkey game noob anyway. When i came to tor i had no idea what rotations where, had never played a melee character before. Anyway, now my actual experience with sentinels. I started out with the combat tree up until about level 20 something. Up until this point, i was finding it average, but not easy to get through combat. I really realised that i wasnt doing very well when i was at lvl 17 on coruscant. I challenged a lvl 15 sentinel with a watchman spec and got beaten. Thats when i really realised i wasnt playing this class properly. I wasnt happy with the combat tree at that time anyway so i respecced to watchman. After that, everything just became so much easier. I think combat is more of a responsive play-style and watchman is much more rotational. I set up a good rotation and the game really came alive. I breezed through nar shadda at level 19 solo. I think its really just about finding a playstyle that suits you and the way you want to play, and honestly, i am really loving my sentinel right now and breezing through content. Anyway, just my 2c.
  7. Haha dude, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal. I dont really have a deal. I just get to play whenever she is watching some ****** tv show like 16 and pregnant or when she is as work, or napping or something. And if i do nice stuff like cook her dinner etc.
