So, Kand and I are missing the PvEness and want to run some NiM DF/DP. We've both cleared it pre-nerf and have the timed run title so we have some idea what were doing and how to play. Problem is, pickings are slim on this server. It's been hard to find people even capable of doing HMs. So, if you know what you are doing and want to run it with us, let me know. Maybe an alt that doesn't get in on guild runs...maybe you're annoyed with your guildmates who stand in stupid and can't interrupt on Draxxus... We're looking at Sunday evenings. Anyone interested?

Two new Blogs up Gearing 101 What's In My Raidbag

I'm looking for a NiM (pretty) Hardcore progression guild to play with on Bastion. I don't want to transfer anymore characters off server so trying to find someone here to raid 2-3 days a week with. My operative isn't BiS, but with the NiM buff gone in DF it's not a problem. I also have a merc heals, Sniper, and PT which are all HM ready. I'm 5/5 NiM DF on my sorc, pre nerf, and also have the timed run title. I've also done NiM DP including hours of council pulls. The guild I'm raiding with on Shadowlands was the number 2 US clear. Before transfering there I was in the top 5 clears for EC, TFB, SnV, and HM DF/DP with <suckafish>.

I don't really remember that many people complaining about it being that hard. The minority more than the majority. "Two nerfs" were actually one fix and one nerf, if I remember correctly. But, PTS is a necessary evil. It does need to be tested but it does need to be vastly different upon coming to live. But in that, NiM should be releasing with HM instead of after. So guilds haven't worked on and seen bosses for months.

I love hybrid heal spec. It's how i got 1500. Tons of times i sat in queue with no pops as full heals since only DPS was queueing. This gets pops, so i play it. Seeing that you can fake tank, play hots and dots (which also shows as dps) , dot smash, ect. which are all hybrids, you can't just decide you don't like one. Seeing as sorcs are not pure DPS classes, they have the option to hybrid spec. You might as well freakout people taunt as DPS or throw off heals as DPS. That matchmaking system barely works at all anyways, with a wacky similar rank grouping, and no class specification for groups. Lastly, this hybrid heals can also guarantee you a loss. If you get 1 heal, 1 tank, 2 dps, and the hybrid healer is considered dps, you have almost no chance of having enough DPS to kill anyone. I would also say 75% of people can barely play the spec. You have to be good at both heals and DPS, being skilled enough to switch back and forth in the game depending on what is needed.

You are by far, the derpiest member of our progression team. <3 && King of the Mercs.

Everything, basically. lol. Tank combos: usually Sin/Sin or Jugg/PT. Sin/Jugg or Sin/PT also works. Heals: Sorc/Sorc, is what we cleared with. Now we run sorc/op. Dps: (Mara, 2 snipers, merc) or (2 maras, 2 snipers) We havent got a whole lot of depth as far as dps is concerned. The reason though is maras, snipers, and mercs were the consistent DPS leaders for so long (still are imho). We also have some of the best DPS who play this game (Gorband, Papa, Roovin, Stead) so its been hard to recruit dps depth. Other classes simply can't keep up with the numbers these guys put out.

If you have min/max conq gear you can do SM Dread Fortress. In a good group you could get carried in palace. most of those fights are more mechanic than DPS based.
