  1. I am not in an uproar over the fact that I am not getting Cartel Coins, but I do think it would have been in the best interest of the people at SWTOR to give those that pre-ordered or previously purchased the RotHC the 1050 Cartel Coins as well, instead of just a title. It is no shocker that ever since the Cartel Market was announced that subscribers were worried that the game would become more centered on a quick dollar rather than the players themselves. While I understand that a key requirement and sought after goal is for the company to make money off the game, this can be done in many different ways. Subscribers are the ones that are going to keep this game running smoothly for years to come and in so should be one of the main things the people at SWTOR should worry about making happy. When games like FFXIV: A Realm Reborn offer subscribers that stuck through the game a discount on a monthly sub, when its a sub based game this shows players (and myself) that they are really interested in keeping those loyal subscribers happy. Little effort would be needed to provide those that had previously purchased RotHC the 1050 Cartel Coins, but it would have gone a long way with the loyal subscribers. Would people still have complained about it becoming free now? Yes, people will always find something to complain about, but I feel like it would be a vast fewer number of players complaining than you do now. SWTOR can still redeem itself and give the loyal subscribers a nice little gift of Cartel Coins in appreciation of being there during all this time. Things like fireworks and titles will not keep the interest of others once these other MMOs launch, if you haven't built a customer-client relationship. Y'all want money and loyal subscribers want to feel appreciated and like y'all still care about us more than the Cartel Market money. Do this and y'all will keep getting money from the subscribers (at least from me).

  9. Sanctus has room for each of your members right now in our Second Raid group we are setting up now. We would of course take all members together and have experience doing this before (I personally have worked with other RL friends joining together). I'll give you a couple of information about Sanctus, so that you know what kind of environment you will be bringing yourself and friends into. Majority of our achievements can be found on our Recruitment Thread on the SWTOR site at Sanctus Recruitment Thread. We are a very welcoming group and our members and your friends should have no problem getting to know one another and start raiding together. We are also part of an alliance of guilds called the Immortal Sanctum Alliance, which you can see their websites from our website (not including Pax Republica). With this number of people looking to come over we can do a trial period with everyone for a week or two to see how your members get along with one another and make sure we are a good fit. Our guild website is Sanctus Website and feel free to register on the site and look around before and don't worry about filling out an application right now or anything. If you are interested feel free to talk to me on one of my characters, Brasdefer or Lithose are my main two, and we can talk in more detail about things. Hope you give Sanctus a try! Thanks for considering us, IronArm

  15. Sanctus continues to do HM ECs to gear out some of our latest raiders. We'd love to have y'all join us on these runs. Sanctus has recently moved to a new website to bring the Immortal Sanctum Alliance all under one roof. Sanctus New Website Please fill out an application on the new site. Thank you, IronArm
  16. Watchman gives you more survivability during the earlier levels of the game. Once you have Overload Saber you should be set as Watchman. Combat is a little more difficult until you get Blade Rush (top ability on Combat tree). You are close to getting to Balmorra and once you have finished the planet you will get your healing companion. Once you have your healing companion you should be able to take whichever skill tree you would like and be fine. I leveled up as Watchman and had a blast with it, but like I said once you get your healing companion you should be fine with either.
  17. Sanctus is still looking for PvE players to take down EC HM. We've cleared it hundreds of times, but we have some new and returning members that are looking to get some gear for it to get them ready to NM EC and HM TFB. We still have room in that group, since 3-4 members are just running it to gear out other people. We are currently in the process of moving sites, but you can feel free to fill out an application on either site: New Site: http://sanctus.immortal-sanctum.net/home Old Site: http://www.swtor-serenity.enjin.com/home The SWTOR Forum Recruitment Thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=546273 That covers the basic information about Sanctus. We have Server First titles under our name from before the server merges, looking to get another when NM TFB hits. We have room for the "casual" raiders and the "hardcore" raiders. I'll be getting in touch with you through game later today. Characters name is Brasdefer. Thanks and hope you are interested in Sanctus, IronArm
  18. Thanks for the Takeya. You get a promotion in guild now! You are in charge of supplying the Super Mystery Boxes or whatever you call them! In all seriousness folks, Sanctus is still looking for more raiders. We have a spot or two left on our Progression team, but we are looking for all raiders in general. Sanctus does casually do Warzones together, but our main focus is raiding and just having fun in general. Apply today! Thank you, IronArm
  19. Sanctus recruitment is going strong and we'd love to make you apart of the great guild that is Sanctus. We are still looking for new members to take down the operations in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Join today! IronArm
  20. Sanctus is still recruiting and we are looking for raid members for both low end (EV and KP) to help gear out some of our new players and high end (HM TFB) raids. Join now!
  21. I would say Watchman is better suited for solo play, because it gives you more survivability, but for co-op anything is fine. Combat would be a little more challenging because you can't self heal, but if you are playing with a friend you will be fine. I am playing through with my girlfriend now on her first toon. She is playing a DPS Guardian and I am a Healing Sage, but truth be told I do little healing. Majority of the time with the both of us and our companions we take down the mobs before we really need any healing. So playing with a friend gives you the benefit of playing whatever you would like and still be doing fine fighting everything. I really enjoy both Combat and Watchman specs. If you are a subscriber it is free to respec and you can try out both and see what you like more. Personally I level'd up with Watchman, but after a while of playing Watchman at 50 I wanted to try Combat and loved it. I really enjoy both the specs and once you get higher in Combat you should be putting down enemies really quickly. The advice I gave above should give you a few things to go into while you are leveling. After that I'll be glad to offer more help and if you which to switch to Watchman I can help you there.
  22. Before respecc'ing became free to subscribers I would this for PvE and PvP. You don't need to get Insight, because the only Force ability you will be using is Blade Storm. With Combat Trance and Immaculate Force your Blade Storm has a 100% crit chance. You shouldn't be using Blade Storm unless Combat Trance is up. I can't tell you how great it is to have Displacement in WZs. I would recommend specc'ing like this: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501bcZhGRRRrrdGzZM.2
  23. Any of the specs are viable. Combat is considered better than Watchman for PvP, but Watchmen aren't a pushover. You can still do plenty of damage as a Watchman in PvP. As far as PvE goes, its either choice really. In Sanctus's progression raiding I run Combat and our other MDPS runs Watchman. We are usually very close on the parser. He out damages me, but I think that is because of player skill and not because of spec. If you are a subscriber respec and try out all the different specs (its free to respec) and see which one you like best. Whichever one that is, is the one I would play.
  24. I would replace the Matrix Cube M7-G0 with a War Hero Relic or Elite War Hero Relic. The Matrix Cube M7-G0 gives 66 Str, while being a primary stat and Str being what you want to stack for Augments, the War Hero Relic or an Elite War Hero relic with 113-120 Power will provide you with more DPS overall. The Dread Guard relic of Boundless Age I am told is better for your overall DPS, if you use it every time its on CD. I haven't had a chance to test this for myself yet.
  25. First I would just play whichever class you enjoy the most. If I were to recommend the easiest levelling class it would be Watchman. Get Dual Wield Mastery and Defensive Forms (if you are usually grouped, you could wait on Defensive Forms) from the Combat tree. From try and get Overload Saber as soon as possible, which allows your next 3 attacks to be DoT strikes. A basic rotation is Force Leap -> Zealous Strike -> Overload Saber -> Cauterize -> Master Strike I haven't played Watchman in a while, someone else could probably give you a better rotation, but this should work for now. That should set you up with 4 DoTs on the enemy. From there just do Strike/Slash till you can do your burns again.
