  1. Every thread about dead servers is closed by Bioware.. and rather quickly I might add. It only takes a little searching to discover a 50+ page thread of dead server after dead server.. some with less then 200 players on a fri/sat night during prime time play. 200 people = STANDARD according to server status. Bottom line - they completely blew it. They opened WAY too many servers, with NO real endgame, NO real group mechanics, and forcing everyone into as seperate a play area as possible.. cause god forbid you might actually SEE other people in an "MMORPG"
  2. Notice how the numbers start being posted, the truth starts coming out in hard data, and all the fanboi's just *vanish* like a fart in the wind? "oh dey at workz see.. thats why only 200 people on yur server! Huh huh har har." "Oh dis game juz launch. You haz 200 people to play wit. I has over 2 thouzand.. but 200 is good rightz!?"
  3. This is everything people have been saying about this "MMO" since closed beta, and nothing has been done about it. You sir, should have this stickied on every forum, sent to every Bioware employee, and slap it off the Design teams face a few hundred times to make SURE they see it. Would be nice to see ONE dev have the gonads to post here and address these GLARING faults.
  4. Devs are already ignoring this very same topic.. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=136348 50+ pages of dead servers.
  5. yes I am. Trying to let bioware know they completely dropped the ball for an MMORPG, but did great at a single player KOTOR3. Dont worry fanbois, this is the last day of my sub, and you can bet your sweet **** you wont be seeing me again until they fix this broken single player turd into a true MMORPG. ya know.. with actual.. I dunno.. PEOPLE in a zone? That would be a kickass start. Then when they fix the atrocious endgame, offer 100% FREE transfers/close empty servers. Completely revamp the UI, allow mods, allow macros, allow LFG system, COMPLETELY get rid of "sharding", .. christ why am I bothering to even make plans.. I'll see you all when it goes F2P.
  6. Ya know.. you can pick up KOTOR 1 and 2 VERY cheap... and they dont have a monthly fee! Just tryin to help ya out.
  7. My WoW guild lost 35 people to TOR launch.. 32 of them are back. My RIFT guild lost 79 people (79!!!) to TOR Launch. 60 of them are back, 20 in less then a week. Try again fanboy..
  8. Actually.. a decent, playable, fun game made WoW. Sure, word of mouth helped, but peaking at 12 million players isnt done by word of mouth. It's done by making a solid enjoyable game. yeah sure, now its going downhill fast. (You dont have to remind us fanbois.. we already know) but for all this time, and for the forseeable future, WoW is the measuring stick this game competes with, and its falling miserably short in every single aspect. I *do* however, find it hilarious when these idiots spout "you wont be missed" and "Go back to wow" .. they are. In droves.. I started this game with 10 friends and my wife... all of them have "gone back to WoW" a few of them just because they were sick and tired of fanboi rage everytime they made a simple suggestion on these forums. You people whine and cry about how this "community" is so much better then anywhere else.. where? I dont see it. I see the same whiny fanboi trolls flaming EVERYONE who doesnt bow down before this unfinished, unpolished, buggy turd of a single player game.. err.. I mean mmo. I can only imagine the poor suckers who payed like 200+ dollars for some idiotic collectors edition.. I will hereby apologize on behalf of Bioware for your flushed investment.
  9. I LOL'd. Truth hurts, and he's absolutely right. There is NOTHING "great" or "immersive" about load screen after load screen. Even BIOWARE knows the load screens are overused.. they TELL you how to change them FFS. One upside.. you can put in pictures of naked women instead. At Least then we have something fun to look at!
  10. Also cancelled.. Im tired of seeing NOBODY on a "Standard" server. Ghost towns, almost no chat, no way to even get a flashpoint group without hours of sitting around doing nothing. Trade Network is like wiping your **** with a rusty cheese grater, Ive seen ONE guild on my server, and they said they have like 15 members. Nobody wants a guild, because nobody NEEDS a guild. You never SEE anyone else. I've re-rolled on 3 different servers, all Standard to Heavy. Nobody.. Bugs are completely game breaking, PVP rewards are stupidly easy to get, and are 100x better then anything PvE related. yet the most annoying for me has to be this.. I play on a "standard" pvp server. Lots of PVP action right? WRONG. I have yet to be attacked, ganked, NOTHING. I havent even SEEN an empire player.. (yeah, Im REPUBLIC.. and cant even find Empire to fight.) Why? Because this game does everything possible to seperate you from everyone else. Level 40.. not ONE Empire player? Seriously??? *edit* - Dont feed me that ******** about "1st month mmo" garbage either. WoW EXPLODED first month. PVP was rampant, everyone was fighting everyone else, I could see players EVERYWHERE from both factions. It was great. Crossroads was constantly being raided, ALWAYS had people to talk with, play with. NEVER had a problem getting a dungeon group etc etc. Take off your rose-colored glasses and LOOK at what your playing instead of going "oh yeah its the first month" blah blah blah. Its garbage, and you KNOW its garbage.
  11. Keep telling people that, watch what happens when they start listening.
  12. See, the populations are dropping per say (as already stated, people are playing less) the problem is.. someone decided to cap the servers at stupidly low numbers. So now we have all these servers that used to read as "FULL" now reading "standard" .. considering this game takes every avenue to keep people seperate from each other.. it's no surprise that numbers are shrinking. While I would like to see this game succeed as an MMORPG.. I just dont see it happening. Ive already changed servers 3 times when the populations plummeted during prime time.. I wont be changing again. If the population here drops again, Im cancelling.
  13. The other (and far more obvious reason) is the GTN is a complete and utter pain in the *** to use. Someone wants to buy some Desh.. instead of opening the market, typing D-E-S-H and hitting search.. you have to sort through ridiculously overcomplicated and pointless dropdown menus that serve no real purpose at their current functionality. They got it *completely* ***-backwards.. and not so much as a peep on when its going to be reworked to normal human standards. I completely skip it, and use general/trade channel in fleet if I have something to sell or buy. I get faster results that way, and far less headaches.
  14. I spacebar everything except the storyline quests. They're all the same anyways. Mindless fetch or kill quests. Absolutely nothing different or spectacular about any of them. To be fair.. i lasted till level 33 before I had enough of the mindless drivel being spouted. On a side note - I do enjoy the fact that some of those conversation DO include a "Get to the god damn point already" chat option. Even BioWare realizes they blah blah blah FAR too much.
