But back tot he topic, I asked for an option that would allow me to bypass the voice acting How does that prevent those of you who enjoy it from continuing to enjoy it? Actually, I am 32 or 33, and spent yesterday railing about the bugs with my class quest (Great Hunt, immortal master jedi, mako pulling the room, and "sleeping on the job", followed by missing quest npcs, etc etc).... Though the cussing from fellow bounty hunters about the bugs (and their workarounds) was kind of amusing. Just got my legacy surname (ugh), which rendered my naming scheme worthless (it shouldnt be a big deal, but it is, time to move on).... As for you believing I'm a liar, whatever. I already stated what server I was on, and the name is pierrebnaud. Be quick, because I am wiping them all out today, and no, you cant have my stuff, because I already gave it away. I will hit up twin peaks due to the kind invite, but honestly, I have had such a bad experience with the game, well, I'm out of here. Thanks for the comments, and honestly, I wish you all well.

i posted this over on my thread, but this might be a better place for the question. If I delete the character that achieved the legacy status, does that remove the legacy title from all alts? thanks!

Okay, I have decided to wipe out all of my toons and start over with a better naming strategy. If I wipe out my main (who has the legacy title), will that wipe it out for all of my alts? Thanks! Let me transfer funds and stuff to my new toons. If i kill the toon before I get an answer, i will post the answer.

My right and left verticals are both poorly placed? Also, how do you get your companion's tool bar listed on the left vertical? Thanks! PS. I am going to look at the preferences again to see if I can figure it out myself, but any dribble of advice would be most welcome!

First of all, thanks for the lot of you piping up and not calling me a troll. The die hard fans seriously need to take it down a notch. I'm a long time gamer, and as such, I have always been focused on the game (who isnt right?) There is a point here, I swear.... We have all heard games start off their reviews with "stunning graphics", or some other "amazing" element that simply cover up for a poorly designed game or by its inclusion detract from the actual game play. I would have to say that SWTOR's voice overs are too overwhelming, and outside the main quests detract from game play. I know you are proud of your efforts bioware, and rp'ers, I know this is like the holy grail of games for you, but for the rest of us, pretty please let us opt out of it a bit.... As for the remark about heroic quest givers being highlighted differently than the other quest givers... raises hand!!!! Heroic quests are simply something I avoid because of the gawd awful LFG system.... I have yet found anyone who disagrees with that. And while we are talking about LFG, could you please take a peek at smoothing some of the game mechanics to provide a less jarring flow to the game. The ability to summon your ship/ teleport... would allow me to take a break from the game to grab some lunch, run to the bathroom or whatever without having to stop, backtrack or port around hoping you went to the right place (omg, please work on that map (am I the only one who finds those rapid ports to be a wild guess as to whether it is in my quest zone or not?)..... Ability to join a flashpoint and come back to where you were leveling would be nice too.... I realize there are a few of you out there that think any criticism of the game is tantamount to heresy. I am working hard (too hard imho) to enjoy this game, at least give me the courtesy to air my complaints. If there is some trick that you know or you have a workaround, feel free to educate.

First of all, I wasn't trolling. Second, I dunno, I bought the game to enjoy the actual game, not waste my time listening to npcs spout on endlessly.... Guess I got the wrong game.

The problem Aliency is that I already added the surname into my names to insure that they were unique completely unaware that later on I could get that surname added more gracefully. My main, and all of my alts would have been renamed to reflect this if only I had known.... Titles, I can see being added as the game progresses, but surnames should have been offered at name creation (or a warning provided somehow). In the big scheme of things it is a minor thing, but I swear this game is killing me as a customer by small irritants like this. The end Bounty Hunter quest bugs also occurred simultaneously so I am probably just irritated in general because of that nonsense. Anyhow, thanks for the attempt at help, and have a great day!

okay, so i need to delete my character to soothe my ocd.... between the bugs trying to finish my class quests, and this, not having a good day. turning it off is an option, but if i had known this was an option at the beginning, I definitely would have started with a different naming convention. live and learn i suppose. before i pull the trigger is there a way to change the name of my toon?
