Yea, sadly true. I wish they could see the harm, lack of trust, or faith, their information policy has.

I haven't posted in some time now and haven't kept up with the updates and rumors either. I still haven't finished the dialogue or missions with any of the romance possible companions. Hopeful that maybe, perhaps, some day, if we're lucky, (and we're, not it seems ) that they could become SGR possible. But, I'm wondering what others think about it... Should I go ahead and finish this content because they're never going to make these companions SGR possible and if they do it will be with new dialogue and such? Or wait as it's not a complete waste of story content to wait as we may yet have hope?

This is exactly the trend I HATE! Before when an update came out for a game subscribers would usually get a little something extra. Sadly that something extra keeps getting to be less and less... Now, with the Cash Shops added I can understand wanting more in them for us to purchase. But, some things, like um SGR content maybe, just doesn't feel right to put into them. Cosmetic stuff, okay yea and I can go along with that. But, story content as others have pointed out isn't one of them. Making SGR content a Cartel Item is something I am FIRMLY AGAINST!!! Put it in an expansion where it belongs and I can agree paying for it. Not offered as a Cartel Item.

I think the current discussion has overlooked this aspect of things. While Bioware has been VERY stingy with information on this. Most of us feel Bioware has promised to add SGR content. I'm not sure on the details but I do feel Bioware has told us the content is coming. Now, about adding it to the Cartel Items... I dislike the trend some games have taken in making you pay for almost everything they add after launch. If Bioware puts this into a Cartel Pack I'm going to be VERY upset! Adding SGRs to an expansion was one thing and something I can understand and go along with. Adding it to the Cartel is another and feels totally different to me! I know not everyone will see things that way. But, that's how I feel on adding this to the Cartel!!!

Writing your own fan-fic and ingame stories... Actually an interesting idea for those of us who do and like to actually RP. After all isn't this an MMORPG? I hadn't thought of that one and it feel it should have been obvious. But, I was reading some of the other posts on having characters sitting around gathering dust while we wait for SGRs. Yea, I have a couple too... While we wait, discuss, wonder what is taking so long, and worry about them ever making it into the game. If the only way to finally get this into the game is to reset our conversations with the romance option NPCs. Not the affection mind, just the conversations and maybe the missions with that NPC. I could live with that and just redo the conversations. Though I imagine not everyone would be willing to go that far...

I got discouraged and stopped following the thread for a while. I know 'flirting' was added to Makeb... This was actually when I got discouraged as it's ONLY Makeb... Is this still the only SGRA content that's been added so far? After all this time I know better than to ask about word of any future content...

I like the idea too! I remember lots of posts 'pre-launch' about how people wanted to decorate their ships. So, even if it is still rather limited, being able to decorate our ships would be awesome!

Yes, the robes for the Jedi and Sith from Kotor 1 and 2 were great. While I like 'some' of the new robes we have now. I would love to see those robes added too!

Yes, I feel much the same way and wish they were already in the game. I also don't think I'm the only one who has characters "on hold" untill we find out if there's a point that you can no longer have a romance option with certain companions. I've got a couple that I feel like, okay they're past the point I'd be willing to remake them. So guess I won't be able to engage in any LI story lines with them and just live with it. Still upsetting but, there it is... One of the ideas I like in the new thread (haven't been keeping up on this as much since the announcement:t_redface:) is of having two romance options for the characters. I agree that some of the romance possible companions just aren't the right ones for everyone. So that just seems like the right move to me...

I think I'm most concerned for my BH, Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight. As they are the the ones I've advanced the most. I'd hate to have to start them over...

Well, I'm glad we got a response and it's about what I expected. Though I don't know if we'll hear anything else before they start hitting the conventions. I hope we do as I'm still really torn about my characters and if I should play them, remake them or leave them alone. Some haven't gotten the the romance companions while others have. Sadly the ones I really really like have...

I see there are a lot of posts since I last checked in and I'm feeling a little too lazy atm to read them all... I'm trying something different this time with my Q&A post. I'm pointing out that they mentioned the possibility of some companions leaving us and new ones joining up. So I asked about the new companions to see if they'd comment on them. Figured it was worth a try at any rate...

At one the conventions I went too, you talked about the possibility of some companion characters leaving us. You also mentioned that new companion characters would be possible in the future. Do you have an idea yet of how far away they may be or perhaps what update?

I hope they have a way for us to tell some of our companions to leave after they add the new ones. Some of the posts I've read makes it seem like there are a few I'd like to shoot rather than have on my ship... Perhaps even more so depending on how they react to a SGRA with another companion. Oh, after I saw Blizz I knew I had to have a BH just so I could have him as a companion. I haven't gotten him yet (being afraid of going to far and missing a possible SGRA) and I still love him! GO TEAM BLIZZ!!!

Suaine and Kioma, I really liked your brainstorming ideas on the 'Herosexual' side of things. I can see and go along with that line thinking. I also hope we get some kind answer on this weeks Q&A. Given that we've had a rise on questions dealing with our issue. About getting outside help with the SGR issue. I don't feel we've reached that point yet. Using the 'snail-mail' letter with the emails, feedback and such can still work for us. I think of it like this, happy Dev's are good and unhappy Dev's are bad. I would much rather they work with us on this because they want too. Not because they feel any outside pressure to do so. I do want this content ASAP like just about everyone else. But, I want it done right and done well. Just my two cents.

Well, I just posted my question for next weeks Q&A. I asked about the flirts this time as well as the SGR. I saw a few others posted right near mine so there's a few right together. I really am starting to woner if we've even made it onto the stove yet and not sitting next to it. Patiently waiting while we watch all these other projects pass us by. I too would like to thank the Mods for their efforts to help us keep this thread alive and on topic.
