  1. I think it's a typo, some dev put one more 0 then it's supposed to be. And if it's not, then I guess it's one more thing not meant for veteran players, same as this new event...

  3. We could really use this, not sure why they haven't done it yet. Not having this feature is the main reason I purchased 0 weapon unlocks on recent CM discount event. It's a wasted opportunity for more profit...

    I strongly believe each event should have both PvE and PvP aspect. You should be able to grind same amount of reputation doing either PvE quests or PvP quests. And these quests should be clearly separated (maybe by instance), so that each player knows exactly what he's getting himself into. That way you can choose whichever game mode you like to get the reputation rewards. Either that or they should introduce PvP exclusive events. Double wz comms can be hardly called an event and is an equivalent of double xp and definitely not something like bounty week, Gree etc.
  5. This. There simply must be at least 1 'PvP' companion. The design decision to require players to do PvP for a companion is fine. They wish for everyone to at least try that aspect of the game. However, the implementation is not so good. As others pointed out, these PvE players are having negative effect on experience of other PvP players. What they could do is create a separate queue for all those players on that companion recruitment quest. In the end it's just 1 companion out of over 50. Does everyone have to have them all?

    What most ppl don't realize is that after you've got all the rep and all the helix you need, what will be left for you to do in this event? I've maxed out reputation on 2nd or 3rd occurrence of Gree event, that was long time ago. Gree event was my favorite event even after I got all the rep. Went there for PvP in mid and enjoyed how the game always becomes lively when the event comes. But this time, it was truly disappointing. I went in mid and was surprised that I wasn't flagged even though the message said it's a PvP area (btw it happens in Outlaws den as well, you get a message but you're not flagged...silly), I've forgotten about that new feature. Transferred to PvP instance right away only to find 9 ppl in it, counting 3 of my friends and it was prime time. I asked in chat; 4 were doing heroic daily and 1 commando was solo in mid. Went in mid again, waited for 10-15 mins and found only a lone operative, didn't even bother with him it was obvious he was there only to do PvP daily. Disappointed I went back to fleet, it's more fun to watch and read RPs do their stuff then stand alone in the mid... If it's true that you need to do PvP mission in PvP instance, then it's a good design decision, but they need to rework the missions or rewards in order to keep the event repeatable. 200 wz comms per mission will not make anyone bother going to Ilum especially if you're giving 2x comms in wzs during that event. Don't let this event die and be forgotten like many other features, SM, GSF...
  8. Turning in mid-air doesn't work because of server lag, your position is not updated in time. Jumping is usually used to force position update, but I guess you can't jump mid-air. Besides jumping, you could try any ability activation that requires position check, such as any offensive ability that has range limit. On the other hand resilience can resist backstab, try to save it for that if you're doing same group movement/positioning each pull. Can't give you any other advice until I kill him on shadow as well.

  12. I never said I have a problem. That's not why I came here. This was a suggestion, an improvement to the game. Many players complain that there's a lack of content and that there's not much to do in game. With 4.0 BW started to make a lot of existing content relevant again (heroics, old ops etc.). They also listened to players asking for events to occur more often. We had events occur once in 6 months, then few months, then once each month and now they're starting with different event each week. This monthly collections discount can be yet another event. One week every month, if players are bored with other content they can browse collections, unlock items and spend hours playing with outfit designer. Unlocking collections can be a mini-game for itself with it's own 'progression'. But you still haven't given any reason why you oppose this? What is it that you see as a negative side of discounts?
  13. Yes I do, but what's your point? Cost for BW for making 1 or unlimited items is the same. These are not physical goods. People like to combine items from diff sets, so they purchase multiple sets to make 1 outfit. Also, how does not unlocking it benefit BW? We're talking spending lots of coins vs not spending at all. Really? Like what? Some bronze trash items nobody wants? Most gold armor sets go from 10m to 30m, buying few of those definitely isn't 'cheaper' then 400 coins and it doesn't take into account that people play on more then one server. That's where collections really pay off, when you unlock an item you have it for every server. Since the unlock is account wide, you don't have to server transfer the item. Exactly. Why is that foreign for you? In the end, every customer wants more value for it's money. But speaking only in context of this game, you can go ask the progression raiders why they unsubbed.
  14. Please introduce collection unlocks discount each month. It doesn't have to last whole month, but it should be something different each time. You can rotate through different categories like crystals, weapons, emotes or even rotate pack shipments. Current prices are high enough to make me think do I really need some unlock. And it gets hard deciding what to spend the coins on. I won't spend 400 coins on 1 gold item, but if there was lets say 50% discount I just might spend 600 on 3 items.
  15. Yes, the idea behind being it BoL is not only to use it in combination with outfit designer, but also so that you can re-purpose the armor set (considering they will be hard to get by) in case you decide to change your main toon.
  16. I've had this idea for some time, ever since they announced last year that 4.0 isn't bringing any new ops but only scaling up old ones. I was thinking how to incentivize players to do old content, especially progression teams and thought of something like this: Legendary relic - Introduce a new currency that has a chance to drop of any NiM boss and introduce new vendor just for that currency. This currency needs to be BoL (like gree helix) since it's rare and it's required to have several in order to purchase anything from vendor and so it wouldn't be possible to sell or trade them. Legendary relic vendor - The vendor would sell Legendary items such as armor pieces, MH and OH which would each cost few of these Legendary relics tokens. Incentive - As many of you know, legendary items such as [Crest of the Dread Master] are not only rare, nice looking but also have no durability which means there's no repair cost for it. In addition, if these pieces would be BoL that would be great. Having full legendary armor set, MH and OH would remove any repair cost. This might not be something to make players return, but it would be a nice incentive for those still here. The best thing about this is that it shouldn't be too much of an effort to implement and would work with any future content.
  17. I'm looking for mature and active pvp guild on imperial side, with optional rep mirror guild. Long time player with most experience as progression raider. Interested in everyday regs as well as T+R. Pve experience mostly in tank role, pvp experience mostly as dps role but would be interested in other roles as well.
  18. This is similar to what I though about at the same time when they announced no new ops, but never bothered to suggest on forums. NiM content should drop same tier as highlighted ops PLUS a chance of Legendary item (example: pieces of dread master gear like the crest) and these items should not be only nice looking but also BoL and with no durability (btw. repair costs need to be fixed). This gives some incentive to grind NiM while we wait for new ops. Also, they could add more secret bosses (but please, please don't make them all the same). They don't even have to be in instances, they can be summoned like yavin boss and those are cheaper to make then ops.
  19. I must say I feel a bit sad now. I've played this game because of friends, they were the content for me. I know now, as I type this, lots of them are doing that exploit in order to get banned as a response to this Dev post. They're having a farewell party, sending expensive items to random players and whatnot...it really is the end. Well, it was fun and thanks for that.
  20. Again with this...Just make ALL comms/crystals Legacy-wide, put larger weekly/total caps and remove any kind of transfer thingies...simple. What's the point in having comms per char when ppl use legacy gear to transfer it anyway?
  21. There's no need for separate mega-servers based on play-style. There are instances, so they make map instance for each play-style. You'd have in map drop-down: Tython 1 (PvE), Tython 2 (PvP), Tython 3 (RP). So you have 1 mega-server per region and players choose default play-style in their client. You get put in your default play-style instance and you can switch if you feel like playing in different instance. As for naming, it's not a technical issue so it can be solved easily. Make char name + legacy name (unique id), or make char name unique per player (so you can have all your alts with same name which is unique for you only), or simply allow duplicate char names on server (legacy name is not unique for a long time and every char has unique id - check pvp leaderboards for that), these are just on top of my head so I'm sure they have better ideas since they had much more time to think about it.
  22. Today I played a warzone that never ended, well sort of. It did end by kicking me and probably everyone else. I was playing reps and we 'won' by 46% : 0% and then it continued. Percentages just froze, we even let imps take all 3 points to see if it would 'unbug'. There were dozen shutdown attempts, but ppl just kept popping in until after I don't know how long but probably over 45 mins it kicked me out of wz. No stat window, no rewards just put me back where I was before I queued. However, I think the xp did count, but only the xp you get inside not at the end. Server: The Proginator Level: 21 Map: Alderaan Time: ~10AM CET If you need my charname to trace logs, I can send it by pm. I think someone also reported the issue over in-game system during the game, so you can trace that too.
  23. There's nothing dirty about that. It's all just business. If they can make more profit from staying silent, then that's what the business will do. I was hoping to get an answer, because despite all the news I'm losing interest in the game. Reason being that number of my friends has greatly diminished. Most of them that can't afford the transfer left the game and those that can, have already transferred. I've invested too much into legacy on this server that transferring one character won't do and transferring whole legacy would cost too much. But I guess by their data there's not much people in similar situation so they can afford to lose those subs in order to profit from transfers.
