  1. I wonder, by the way, if Arcann knows much about galactic history. Having such a knowledge, it is difficult not to be wary of Mandalorian clans gathering and fighting.
  2. She is stated to be so. The trick is in the difference between "strongest" and "skilled". Vaylin has lots of raw power, of course, but take into account the following: - She does not have such a degree of mastery as many others. Seeing her fight, I doubt that she is able to deflect lightsabers with bare palms as Valkorion or Satele did. - She does not have much practical experience. I am unsure whether she participated in the war, but it seemed that in fight with Senya, the older Knight excelled because of her combat experience - when and how to strike, how to react, how to move. - She does not have enough experience with her full power. Remember, she was restrained for the major part of her life, and she has... well, no more than five years of trying to get accustomed to her own strength and not having a real test throughout this period.
  3. In the heart. Or neck. Hitting him in the face hasn't worked well already.
  4. He had. One he killed, the other drove away. Well, vice versa, if chronologically.
  5. I was going to say the same. Another variant - the letter is between the events. Namely so: the Hunter disappears - Mako tries to continue for some time, but feels exhausted from it, quits and writes a letter - Torian respects her choice and leaves for Mandalore's call. To clarify: she could be the wife of a Mando, but not a mando'ad herself. So Mandalore's call is not about her.
  6. Actually, Arcann's general inactivity seems logical to me, according to how I see his character. It seems that Arcann is a powerful warrior, perhaps a good and competent battlefield commander... but not a good administrator and ruler. And he got used to having a clear purpose - first following Valkorion's orders, then taking down Valkorion, and... and now he has none. And the war against Republic and Empire is over. So Arcann got stuck into the situation and role he simply doesn't know how to cope with and has no skills for it. But to put all the important decisions into someone other's hands is to show weakness, which Arcann cannot afford. And thus it is better to show force occasionally, but to maintain inactivity, hiding weakness. You cannot be mistaken, if you do not do anything, right? Wrong. Very wrong, and Arcann is about to feel it.
  7. Are you sure that they are completely correct? After all, as far as I know, the authors have told us nothing about it.
  8. The question of voices is actually not so simple. Yes, alts can be mute companions - but why do we need them then? What differs them from the others? And them being mute has no sense in-story. For example, you play as a Trooper and take your Smuggler as a companion... so, can you imagine Smuggler (snarky side of the Force incarnate) be completely silent? Or a Jedi not to voice disagreement about ethical decisions? Then there is the question of approval. Each companion has something that he/she likes and dislikes; but, as we can shape the personality of our characters throughout class stories, it is quite hard to simply assign them a definite approval theme. And, finally, there is always a problem - which characters to provide? Yes, all the eight heroes exist in-universe - but only one of each class exists. There cannot be two Empire's Wrath's, two Heroes of Tython, two Bar'sen'thors and so on. And if you have various characters of the same class - which of them should be included into the story? Of course, the problems of approval and character choice above can be solved by adding an elaborate tuning system. Or permitting us to say something by different characters. But it will demand lot and lot of work and spending of resources.
  9. One interesting thing is that a character that may die during Republic planetary questline of Tatooine, appears alive and well in the final of Agent's story. Though some of the planetary plots are really strange in that way.
  10. Was she? I do not remember such thing mentioned anywhere. Maybe, "Thanaton's superior". His teacher was Calypho, and his predecessor in the Council was Darth Arctis; I am sure that he didn't teach Thanaton.
  11. On the question of Imperial Cathar, I would like to remind about Belsavis mission and Prince Shange, who is stated to be an influential figure among his species. So his union with the Empire could have brought more Cathar to the said Empire. Though I tend to see Cathar as divided species, of course.
  12. We may also say that Bounty Hunter's class story ends before all the Republican stories and before Republican Corellia. Perhaps its end is the earliest of all.
  13. Unfortunately I do not remember, whether the Inquisitor's dialogue differs in that way. Because in his case it would be an empty threat: a Dark Councillor clearly outranks Regus, Malgus and everyone else you interact on Illum before Ravage and Marr arrive. What is also interesting is the fact of legitimacy of PC involvement into planetary storylines. Granted, Sith PC can be drawn to military operations, because they are considered to be part of the structure just by being Sith. An Agent, however, is clearly a representative of quite different hierarchy with their own command. A Hunter is simply outside any Imperial structure and technically does not fall under any Imperial command. (Post-Chapter I it may be justified if a Hunter becomes Mandalorian, and Artus-led Mandalorians are Empire's allies. And in the situation with Makeb a Dark Councillor sends you there directly, overriding any problems of hierarchy).
  14. Well, the PC do not fall directly under his command (any type of PC, by the way). Vokk, however, stationed on Kilran's ship, is definitely within this hierarchy. Another example may be a Taris officer who has the right to shut up Thana and give her orders - as I understand, because she is still an apprentice and there are no objections from Gravus about that. Of course, Thana follows orders very loosely, but it is about her personality, not hierarchy. Or we may take Illum storyline. Darth Malgus is clearly a very high-ranking Sith, but Moff Regus is able to argue with him. Though I am unsure that the lack of angry answers from Malgus is due to hierarchical questions of Malgus's character.
  15. Interesting enough, you often do not even need these emotions. Many Sith in-game do not really show great anger, unless they follow the example of movieBanner and are simply always angry inside.
  16. It is more interesting whether Vorten is related to Cassuss Fett. The period between them is much smaller, after all.
  17. Some points have already been raised, but ages in-game actually make a lot of sense. At the moment of his first appearance Quinn is an officer (and not a junior one). He had his career slowed with the conflict with Moff, he had experience, he had time to attract Baras's attention and become one of his agents... I cannot imagine him being in his 20s. Talos's weathered look makes perfect sense too. Unlike Quinn, Talos is an archeologist, and if Golah's team is any indication of usual IRS work, than he constantly changes climate, constantly goes into harsh environments, is constantly exposed to Force knows what on his work. I am really surprised that he is not covered with scars at the moment. Not if we take into account his native culture. If I am not mistaken, Mandalorians come at age at 13, and I am quite sure that they begin training since they can hold a weapon in their hand. So yes, an eighteen-year-old Mandalorian may be an accomplished soldier and have dead enemies under his belt already.
  18. Height problem aside, the Voss have quite little sense as PC species. A Voss companion within the KotFE is a different thing.
  19. Jorgan's marriage does not change his personality. Being an adept of one of the sides or being a spirit in another body really does.
  20. Who says that in distant future some Lana's descendant will not change his surname to distance from Sith heritage?)
  21. Again I would like to point out that Khem promises to guard his master's legacy and tomb. I presume that Khem himself knows how his organism and bond work.
  22. I wonder why people consider "Inquisitor dies = Khem dies", while Khem himself states quite the opposite. If I am not mistaken, near the end of his dialogues he says that he is going to guard Inquisitor's legacy and guard his master's tomb. Which is impossible without being able to survive after Inquisitor's death. Can anyone give me a clear information on this subject?
  23. I just cannot cope with my curiousity. Why "her"?
  24. I presume you do understand that "seeing the skin" and "no black visor" is contradictory to the very idea of Mandalore's outfit?
