  1. One correction: he may have never been bound to you, just accompany you. The fact that he is bound is stated only by other characters, who assumed so - but they may be wrong. I do not remember if Valkorion states so himself, but if he does, it proves absolutely nothing. In Chapter XII he leaves without any problems and without any doing on Outlander's side. I personally have the impression that the Emperor conducts some galactic-scale experiment. - Create Sith Empire, built on oppression, military might and infighting. Study the results. - Create Eternal Empire, built on benevolence and absense of responsiblility and consequences. Study the results. - Make a clash between them. Study the results. - Do... something else. What exactly, is unclear, and one thing I am certain about is that nothing coming from Valkorion may be trusted.
  2. For lots of people that means that there will be no event challenge. Like at all.
  3. I support this, but with one condition. Give. It. To. Good. Translators. Emphasis on "good", preferably translators who are familiar with the universe, or invite experienced fan translators. Because I do not want to see more examples of American Red Crosses, lightsaber bottoms and Thailand spacefighters again.
  4. Where did you read about shadowcats? And I should say that lightwhip is among the least useful weapons for a ninja-like.
  5. The elders may become involved just when the candidate for marriage does not want to spoil relations with his/her beloved family. For example, that was the case with Mirta Gev and her future husband. He asked her grandfather about permission. And taking that her grandfather was Boba Fett... would you like to make him angry?
  6. Hm, why free? You cannot reach Odessen without being a sub, as I know. Supported. Zeltrons are difficult here. In comparison with Zabrak and Twi'leks they are different only in skin tone, and their most distinctive feature is currently impossible within the game. Agreed.
  7. The problem with it is that Torian says it when you are male too. And when you are not a Hunter and thus not a Mandalorian at all.
  8. The problem is - how to choose this character? I have two characters of each class, for example. Which one of them shall I meet?
  9. Immersion, maybe? But still, I do not understand. A player simply cannot take the place of your class story mentor. RP outside the class story involves master/apprentice without any problems. And, by the way, you mean that half of the classes get some new option, while the others do not.
  10. And that is actually a very interesting idea. Solo Flashpoints are by definition isolated from any group activity that may be spoiled. I personally, would like to fight through them with two of my team. Though if a player still doesn't have killing achievements for companions - they will grow twice as fast with such a Flashpoint change.
  11. Why do you need special mechanic for this? And of course, it is very doubtful on character creation.
  12. Perhaps that is the key point. Senya was not an enemy, did not intend to harm us, and so the danger sense did not work about her. And actually, I doubt that said sense works automatically. Otherwise it would be impossible to ambush or suddenly betray a Force user. Here the Outlander might not activate it - after all, you do not need danger sense when the source of danger is right before you with lightsaber ignited.
  13. About Arcann and Asylum battle. Remember what happens there: Arcann prepares to attack, Valkorion freezes time (or perception of the Outlander), makes is proposal, is rejected, withdraws, Outlander is impaled. This actually makes perfect sense. We are distracted. We are taken out of combat for a relatively peaceful talk and are not completely prepared to the end of it - when the fighting resumes. Yes, it is a minor distraction for an experienced warrior, but it exists. And Arcann is not distracted - he just continues the movement he has begun.
  14. You mean Chapter 1 of Consular story?
  15. That is why this topic is a bit wrong for this post. Just to say: only Skadge may be of little sense here. Because with Vik you simply don't have much choice - you are ordered to take him by your superior, who is also not fond of this, but you need an expert. And we may say that Skadge brings Black Sun connection. But only "may", because we don't know this at the time of "recruitment" and we do not use said connections afterwards.
  16. You mean the opportunity to undermine the efforts of your Alliance and make things worse for yourself?
  17. A bit different topic - it is about changing your attituded to characters. I doubt that anyone had good opinion on Skadge and Vik since the first meeting.
  18. What can be the problem here, if the number of the chapter is stated directly in the name of current story mission?
  19. Ah, that is what you mean. Yes, here he knows, but still thinks that Baras's actions will benefit the Empire in the long run. And, actually, having the Emperor trapped on Voss is beneficial for the people. And I personally cannot but commend him for bravery - more bravery than Baras.
  20. Thank you all. I had the same thoughts generally, and it was good to see that I had not missed something. For the oppressive regime the Empire is quite chaotic sometimes... Same way, I presume is with the tradition of changing names after becoming a Darth. Seems like that it is just by your wish - Thanaton did, Zash didn't, for example. Of course, sometimes name-change is symbolic and is not decided. Inquisitor is a good example here.
  21. Are you sure? It is not usual for Baras to reveal all his plans to his agents, especially if they have nothing to do with this. Quinn could not play any part on Corellia, Quinn could not do anything with the Emperor - so I am quite certain that he knew nothing about it. Balmorra - yes. Watching the Warrior - yes. But to reveal anything else will be against Baras's character.
  22. Ahem. I am more of a solo player myself, but... playing in a group, with some other people, is somewhat within the very definition of MMORPG.
  23. First of all - have you enabled "Show Exploration missions" on your map? Second - yes, some quest givers have been relocated, like Revanite quest giver on Dromund Kaas. It is hard to say who was moved, better to look quest-by-quest.
  24. I do not really understand the essence of the problem. Are you irritated by having a conversation with the droid? But remember, that many people use Level 60 token to get instant character of a class they have never played with... or maybe even for their first character. Which means that they are really not familiar with interior of the ship. And if a single conversation makes you hate your character... I am sorry, but it seems like unwillingness to play at all.
  25. Maybe, the betrayal will really come from the most unexpected source. The ship droids. After all, both C2-N2 and 2V-R8 are always present at the base.
