  1. I love this game. Yes it has numerous bugs but its a game, I play with friends, enjoy the content, and I play when I want to. No one is forcing my hand to pay and play this game. BW is doing better than some other game devs. Square Enix, for example, messed up so bad they were forced to make their game free-to-play until December 2012 just so they could rebuild the entire game. BW is keeping up with fixes and bugs as fast as they can and doing a good job of it. Blizzard may have refined WoW but it has also had 7 years of that refinement and even then there are new bugs with every patch and content update. People are more than welcome to voice their opinions but throwing a rage tantrum in the forums and threatening to cancel their subs, like I have seen several users do, isn't a way of providing feedback that can be used to help devs find and fix the glitches. Be patient, play what you can, be helpful and report bugs you find and what you were doing when it happened, if it becomes intolerable then deactivate your account until you feel it is a more suitable time for you to play. Life and the video game world has other options, pick one to pass the time P.S. to the OP, version 2 rocks, keep on playing.
  2. Get more pvp gear with expertise, guard a healer and watch as a squad of people try to kill either of you. Most players hate fighting against tanks in warzones simply because they do not die.
  3. I had posted on the previous page, GM confirmed it is in the design stage now. More information will be available when it is completed. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=1502055#edit1502055
  4. Why does a player not gain objective points for scoring or assisting the player that scored? Me and a guild member continued to grab the neutral ball, he would pass to me, I ran it in and scored 5/6 of our points and he scored the 6th. We both ended up with the lowest number of medals and points for the match. We really just couldn't understand why this had happened when we were beneficial to the overall completion of the match. Not complaining a bit since I really enjoy the game, moreso I was curious if this was going to be addressed or if it is functioning as intended.
  5. This was already addressed on a previous thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=1502055#edit1502055 It's in high priority and is in the design stage.
  6. 3 big things: 1. I didn't see Quell or Electric Dart on your ability list. Quell has a quick cooldown and interrupts the high dmg channeled abilities that champions can use. Electric dart is the same. Also be sure to remember mid to close range alternation. Jet Pack interrupts channeled abilities as well. Using these at the right time will greatly increase your survivability. 2. Champions are the next step above elite. Technically you aren't really supposed to be soloing them. Champions are very difficult to take on and I would recommend a non-companion healer when attempting to take one head-on. 3. As a PT BH you should focus on stacking Shield Rate and Absorb Rate. Your shield tech tree increases your shield chance and reduces the DMG that you take. I currently have 40% shield chance and 39% absorption with around 14k health at level 48. I take some DMG but not very much. Your defense just stacks with new pieces of gear. Use as much ENDURANCE gear as possible but do not go overboard, you still need some aim to deal DMG to increase THREAT. Trial and error and you will find a good balance with those stats. Good luck and if you have other questions i'll be back later to respond. PS. Definitely use Ion Gas.......your shield tech enhances that.
  7. Majority of the flashpoints do not reward your alignment or social points until the FP is completed. Upon completion you are granted the accumulated points of each. Mainly its a preventive measure to discourage players so they do not quit early. If you still aren't receiving your points after the end of the flashpoint, file a bug issue in-game with the reporting system. Hope this helps. As to the game being bugged, its less than a month old. I know that some people are tired of hearing that excuse but consider the fact that WoW has been working bugs out of every patch and new content for the last 7 years. Bioware is getting the exercise in early this time around and maybe they will find quicker and more efficient practices in solving some of these issues.
  8. From a dev view you have to lookout for the interests of all players even those who are the most minimal casual players. Some of the 5-10 man guilds are close friends that came from another game or have known each other in RL. They shouldn't be punished or have features removed due to the fact that they aren't able to complete a set amount of gameplay each month. Some people have the time to complete more content than others. Casual players are gamers too.
  9. The alliances idea was a great concept for the pre-launch of SWTOR but I would like to see another aspect of this. So far what I see from guilds is that there are several small 5-10 man guilds that want to recruit others. The others however are already in a different 5-10 man guild. Would it be possible and highly beneficial if there was an additional tab in the "Social" menu called "Alliance" that would allow you to see all the members from an allied guild that was online and have a method to use a joint guild chat? This would improve upon the social interaction that Bioware has greatly emphasized throughout the beta, early-access, and launch of the game. It would be easier to form flashpoint and operation groups. It would also increase the chance of meeting new people that you could befriend during your time on SWTOR which already stands as a foundation for an MMO and the purpose of a guild. This is a feature that I truly hope can be implemented in the future as I enjoy being in my guild, but there are others I have played the game with that we could equally benefit from if the joint or allied guild option was available. Thank you.
  10. At this time name change services are unavailable but will be implimented in the near future.
  11. If its the mini speeder that you find sitting in the hallway, just right click the little "speeder" buff that is above your character's health bar as mentioned above, it should dismount you. If not submit a bug report for your character.
  12. Both the affection point level and the progress in story determines when the next conversation is. What I mean is that if you are still in Chapter 1 of your class story but have an affection level of 7000, make conversation progression will stop until the end of your current chapter. At the start of chapter 2, however; when you speak to Mako she may talk to you 6 or 7 times in order to catch up her companion quest progression to match your current chapter.
