I think the issue you might be running into, Fury, is that you are attempting to limit available NPC flirts before a lot of us have gotten what we would like to see. Yes, NPC's that aren't herosexual and turn you down on occasion would be more interesting, however, with the severe lack of SGR options available currently (( none at the moment )) I, for one would like a chance to flirt with anyone I like first before BW goes and starts limiting who is receptive and who is not. Personally, I would rather see herosexuallity added, since its the easiest way to insure equality. and that's all I have ever wanted in any game I play. It may very well limit how interesting the characters are, but until there are enough options for everyone to enjoy the game the way they want to, I think its the best option. ^.^

If this is really the best they can come up with after however long it took to develop Makeb, then I really don't see any hope for anything better in the future. I've tried to be patient, tried to take the previous statements of them promising better content at face value, but are really supposed to accept that we'll get something better *next* time? This is just weak, very weak.

If you put your alts on your friend's list, it will auto-populate but only for the same faction. Would be nice if I could friend all my alts, would fix this issue nicely. Or just making your alts fill in without friending would work too. Not trying to say this isn't a good suggestion. ^.^

Well, what kind of signs are you looking for? IMO they really tell us so little about themselves that I think it would be fairly easy to bring in more romance content, SGR and OGR, to any companion and it wouldn't change them at all. Again, just my opinion. ^.^

Gonna have to disagree with most of this, no offense. I really think Quinn could go both ways, hardly learned anything about him and every time my SW flirted, he just seemed uncomfortable with it. Now you could say that it was his position and protocol but I think he could be easily re-written to include an SGRA . Though I could just be reading too much into it, hehe. Vette, I'm not sure about, but I don't think she could be completely written off as straight only, Again, just my opinion. Really hoping Mako would be made available if they ever decide to, dunno what it is, but she just so loveable, hehe. That's about all I know of the romances so far. Most companions share so little about themselves, I really think any of them could be added as SGRA. Or BW could always add totally new companions, but it would always feel rushed to me, like the companions you get after chapter 2. Would love to see them all expanded, but I can't imagine that happening any time soon. ^.^

The difference in this all comes down to the children. To kids, Santa shows up on christmas, comes down the chimney, magically goes back up it and does this for the entire world all in one night. In reality parents spend money, buy things, wrap them and set them under the tree. Christmas day, there are presents under the tree. The difference is in point of view (thank you, Obi-wan) The fade-to-black scenes are there to protect kids that might be playing this game from being exposed to things that they should not be. To kids, the scene fades to black, nothing happens and then the game resumes. This is very important if BW wants to keep the rating as it is. As adults, we DO know what happens, kids however do not, since its something that does not exist to them. As far as the comment that started this, there will be no more sexual content when SRGs are added than now. So if its ok for your kids to play currently, why would the inclusion of a few [flirt]s make the game so horrible that you won't let them play any longer? ^.^

The term carebear comes to mind when bringing up the idea of contempt of PvPers against PvEers. Are you really surprised it doesn't go the other way sometimes? The impression I get from the PvP players in this thread is "We want everything without having to do the content it was set for. We want it all. Mine Mine Mine." See, it works both ways.

You don't get the rep for buying the packs, you get the rep for opening them and using the rep item. Are they going to track who opened each pack and give them items? ^.^

When buying those packs you got exactly the same thing that everyone else got when buying them. Now you have the opportunity to continue getting the same thing everyone else is getting. ^.^

I'd be slightly ok with this idea if one person would come forward, be honest and say that its for greed purposes. All I'm seeing here is people wanting the things you get from doing PvE activities while not having to PvE. Valor points are gates for access to certain rewards. Social points are gates for access to different rewards. You guys want access to both without giving access to both. . It's still an MMO, you should be grouping most of the time and soloing, while available, should really not be encouraged all that much, IMO. That's what these points are for. Does it suck that there are more rewards for Social points than Valor, yes, and there should be a thread getting that fixed. But if you want the points that you get from doing PvE things in a group, guess what you need to do?

Hehe, all this hoopla is very amusing. What people seem to be missing is; A. all the stuff that you can get from the vendors was on the market before and you would have had to spend the coins to get them anyway. B. You spend about the same amount of coins and get access to all the stuff for in game money permanently. No more having to buy coins, you CAN get it with in game stuff. I bought two of the new packs today with my subscription coins, got myself a third of the way to being able to buy stuff and had a chance at some other cool things. I'll admit, I was a bit upset seeing the patch notes at first, logged in, checked things out, used my coins and went 'Hey, this is actually pretty cool." Gonna be buying some more packs trying to get that awesome relaxed jumpsuit top, getting rep for the other things that used to be on the market at the same time. What I call Win/Win. ^.^

Then ask for more valor gear. And social points are not? Also, good job avoiding my question. I suppose if they added a new, PvE specific points and gear system then I'd have no issue with PvP rewarding social points, but until then, I think the system is fine as it is.

I'm on the fence also about this video. Its cool that they made it and had clips from their games that show that they do indeed care and include LGBT and our community. I've enjoyed BW games in the past, and would like to enjoy them in the future. However; since they have gone to great lengths to use this inclusion as a marketing technique, it upset me quite a bit that SGRs were not in TOR. Feels a little 'bait and switch' to me. Nothing I'm gonna quit the game over, cause there are plenty of other things to enjoy, but the absence feels more absent. Still hoping they show us something special with Makeb, but I'm not holding my breath. ^.^

To all the special snowflake people in this thread, You Aren't. Thousands of other players did the event when you did. I'm sure many of them still play the game. So, your collection isn't as unique as you're all making it out to be. All that will happen from trying to prevent the event from happening again is keeping others from having fun like you did. Is your pretend specialness more important than other people enjoying content? If you want more content added, ask for that, but don't try to keep other people from enjoying it. There is Never a reason to limit options.

I want people paying for the content they enjoy and supporting the game. I think the F2P model is very good, got me paying for it shortly after I started. The restrictions are there to convince people to pay for it, ^.^

People tend to forget there is an actual person on the other side of that character. Yeah, its just a game, but that's never an excuse to be rude. Fortunately, I haven't seen this happen to much, but the fact that it happens at all is rather irritating. There are never so few nodes that you can't simply go on to the next one. Take a moment, don't be a jerk. ^.^
