  1. This exactly. They are available here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=108551
  2. I can see the point on LFG queue not being good from the stand point of personal experience. During BC, I had a full friends list of people from my server that I grouped with to run instances. It was also a way to meet new people and explore opportunities in other guilds. When the LFG queue machine arrived people turned away from looking for friends in game to group with. Instead it became a simple "click this button and get a group". If the group failed, you just requeued or started to get kick happy on people you didn't know. "They aren't on my server so why should I care?" While the LFG queue did help with allowing people to get instances done, I would also say the other negative with it was auto-porting to the instance. That was probably the biggest thing that killed the world population in the other game. It was also annoying when people had no idea how to run back to the instance after dying. I would imagine we need to wait and see how things evolve. BioWare came out yesterday and said the vast majority of players are still under level 30. I can see the main push for an LFG queue coming from those higher than that getting into the less populated zones. I would imagine in a couple months those zones will start to fill out and make looking for groups a bit easier.
  3. The funny thing here is, yes these are serious issues to you, but are they to others? A recent Dev article from Blizzard had one of the WOW Devs come out and say one of their biggest mistakes is trying to cater to everyone and throw in a bunch of features. It is why after 7 years they still don't have true class balance and still have features that either don't work properly or are disregarded. An MMO is a almost a living thing and constantly evolves. So while you may want these specifically, not many others may. They are in bug fix mode, much like any other company is after a full public release even those that have beta programs just as extensive. As far as your 3 main issues, they have all been addressed at some point in the last few weeks by BioWare.
  4. I wouldn't say they are keeping it secret, it is just that there is a lot of information coming out and we really don't have a centralized tracking system to catch every single comment. I believe they have to tag their posts to ensure the Dev Tracker catches it. Now you could look at a third party site and Darth Hater does have a Dev Tracker that catches everything...and I mean everything: http://www.darthhater.com/devtracker
  5. Be sure to check the Dev Tracker feed and also the Customer Service forum. You'll see reps jump in their quite often and at least give some information that can quickly be overlooked.
  6. A developer mentioned a day or two ago that the forums search feature should be turned on once the traffic load eases up some. The search and indexing features can really push the database that is already being taxed. They know we want it and that it is needed, they just don't want to bring the whole thing down by turning it back on. I wouldn't think it should be more than a month until it is back. As far as the market UI and the search feature. It sounds like it is on of their priority list to revise, but probably still a good month away. Right now their main targets are core functions that are directly impacting game play. The market is still usable albeit not very user friendly. I say wait and see what rolls out in Patch 1.1 in January with the other in game content features and see if they put other client/UI changes in it as well. For right now, most of the patches are going to be bug fixes to clean up things that weren't discovered until the larger beta test and the first couple of weeks of live access. Patch 1.0.2 already looks like it is going to take a good chunk of the key bugs out, so we are making progress.
  7. She was obviously trolling. Look at her snarky closing remarks. Just report her for trolling on her posts, they'll ban her, and we can move on. :-P Not really worried right now about guilds clearing out the raiding content. It is early. There wasn't much testing done in beta, some, but not widespread like in WOW. There are likely bugs in it to allow for unique methods to beat the bosses. If anything what this will do is allow BioWare to re-evaluate the numbers and then buff them as they see fit. I would think the goal for Nightmare would to make it mathematically possible to beat, but one slight screw up (mistimed attack or two) and you are looking at a 0.1% wipe when enrage hits. Much like those that got to 50 in a day or two, there will probably be some bans handed out for abusing bugs in the game. Common sense people.
  8. Be sure you are shielding Khem to help him out. Also don't forget to toss him a few heals when he gets below half health. As far as CCing mobs, I would almost always do it on packs of 2 or more or at least ones with an elite in it. Be sure you are using Whirlwind as your CC, it will last for up to a minute as long as nothing hits it. If you are using Electrocute, you are going to have to deal with it after 4 seconds.
  9. I don't think there is anyway. You'll probably have to disband and reform. I haven't seen any mention of a service to change guild names yet.
  10. For those on the US server Darth Bandon, a new fan/community site has been setup until we see actual server forums rolled out. The site also has typical Wiki setup for other players to contribute content and update information on their guilds and such. It also has a forum which is function now. Website: http://www.darthbandon.org Operations progression tracking will also be opened once we get to that point.
  11. Great minds think alike! The site for Darth Bandon US should be ready by launch. Have a few minor changes and skin imports to do. Right now it is pretty plain. http://www.darthbandon.org The forum is just about done at http://www.darthbandon.org/forum/ The main Wiki portion of the site will be used to track operations progression and other events people want to share.
