  1. Same on both accounts. I did finally realize that force lift was working well and that made all the difference for me. That and the fact that with the station buffs, I was able to easily solo one while healing Qyzen.
  2. Hahaha Pin, awesome quote in your sig. Loved that line.
  3. This is how I feel as well (as seer spec). Queen is fine and has been for me all the way to 41 so far. He tanks, I heal and dps. I haven't played as a dps spec, so I am to sure how he is for that spec (I hear Theran is better for that spec) but as seer, Qyzen works great.
  4. This is the spec I am working toward as well.
  5. While I agree it is important to put 5 points there, I can safely say it doesn't need to be the first 5. I didn't put points there until my late 20's and I did just fine.
  6. I disagree. I like seeing it used to deflect blaster fire or melee attacks. I also use mine from time to time when I need to build force back up (rare these days but I can say I have done this once or twice over this past weekend at level 41).
  7. Yes, scavenging is affected. I see it in higher level planets more often than lower level planets. /signed
  8. Yeah, I chose Artificing and Cybertech because I wanted to make sure my guild had a good source for keeping up their orange gear. The cybertech was also kind of selfish as I wanted to make ship upgrade parts for me and my alts. I don't care if I make money but I find crafting worth my time.
  9. I don't think it is broken. I swing my saber when I am waiting for a cool down and building force back up. I don't want to be a melee heavy class else I would have chosen shadow (or either knight class).
  10. Willpower and endurance are the basic stats to focus on. Power is a stat to focus on later along with alacrity. Make sure you put those 5 points into TK for the 100 points of force and the discounted cost of heals and force powers.
  11. You could go artificing route for mods or the biochem route. Both would be viable for your character.
  12. So you would rather just have big rocks block your way? I am glad they went with something different. I liked tatooine. I explored a lot. You can't have an infinite zone. At least this way it doesn't FEEL like you are in a big bowl or crater...you just have invisible boundaries. Seriously...get over it. It has to have limits.
  13. I know the DS points aren't blocking getting more light side points as I have accrued 100 DS points (because I just had to kill this one Imp). Not sure what the issue is though, but I still accrued LS points after having DS points come in.
  14. When you have people in a full group attacking every mob instead of focus firing, don't heal them. Keep the tank healed and the dps will learn to stay on the focused mob. If they whine about not getting heals, tell them they will get healed when they attack the focused mob...the beauty is, they probably won't need heals then and you can add your dps to the focused mob while just keeping the and up.
  15. I disagree that you need to take the TK skills right away. I didn't take them until I hit 30 as I rarely had any force problems. I played a trooper healer in beta and I prefer the sage. I still made a trooper but took it the vanguard route instead. All the healers are viable, I just love the way the sage plays. At 37 I have had very few leveling issues using Fess and being full heal specced and geard.
  16. This except I just hoard my extra mats and don't bother with the awful GTN. I don't sell drops I find, I RE everything I make because I don't want to bother with posting it, and I just keep all my extra mats. The GTN is so bad that I just play the game without it until they fix it. I have had no wont for credits. I am doing just fine crafting for guildies and myself.
  17. This is where I was taking my vanguard...also as PvE tank.
  18. Well it is a healing class like trooper and smuggler are. You can spec seer to be a more pure healer or spec more for damage. Not everyone is speccing seer; some are playing more like a mage type of character than a healer (even though all sages CAN heal).
  19. You just need to skill up more. They open up as your skill gets better.
  20. Exactly this. Being a new MMO doesn't excuse not using something better that is already out there. The GTN is horribly clunky and I avoid it if at all possible. I never sell on it and only buy as a last resort.
