  1. The mod system allows you to customize stats of items while retaining a serious amount of control over the appearance of said item. Insert a system where appearance and stats are completely non related, and you've just removed the entire reason for having a mod system.
  2. Considering an appearance tab would immediately, completely end irrevocably render the mod system obsolete... Not going to happen. Ever.
  3. Most classes have only one romancable companion per gender. Those that have multiples have a "decision point" where even if you're pursuing both companions, you'll have to make a choice between them.
  4. Having run multiple groups of people through Hammer Station as a mid-30s toon, I can safely say having a higher leveled character helping you won't kill your experience gain.
  5. You're misinformed. There are moddable versions of all weapons and armor. They're not all acquirable via crafting.
  6. Nope (Entrench only works in cover, kind of hard to be running downfield when you can't move), somewhat, and not at all. Learn what each AC can actually do before you start whining about how they're not doing what you want them to do.
  7. You will hit a point where she will flat out tell you "take my collar off or I won't talk to you". You'll have a repeatable conversation where unless you remove the collar, the very same conversation will happen the next time you chat with her.
  8. Once you get Takedown, Followthrough and Series of Shots, you get access to all sorts of one-shotting mayhem.
  9. Incorrect. Natural cover (and deplying portable cover behind world objects to grant yourself natural cover bonses when you can't/don't select a natural cover hardpoint) yields an extremely high chance to completely avoid ranged damage, while you're hunkered down, on top of the 20% dodge chance. Portable cover only gives the 20% dodge chance.
  10. Incorrect. Armor rating is the sole indicator of how effective a piece of gear will be (in terms of armor value) when modded with that item.
  11. Companion dialogues are gated by more than just affection. Do more with your class story, she'll open up soon enough.
  12. So you're ************ that the tutorial world is easy?
  13. Nar Shadaa is it's own GTN network, since it's cross faction. Items you put up for sale there will not show on DK/Coruscant or the Fleets. Put up items on DK, you'll see them on the Imp Fleet. Likewise with Coruscant and the Republic Fleet.
  14. Incorrect. When you activate reverse engineering you'll see a listing of what skill leve is required to RE a specific item. IE: take a Skill Armoring 12 and you'll need Cybertech of at least 150 (just for arguments sake, that's likely not the real skill number)
  15. Crit and Surge are definitely going to be preferable, and in all but crazily theoretical circumstances far superior to Aim, but given the way that stats are separated out on mods you may not be in a position to take Crit and Surge over more Cunning on some pieces.
  16. Not entirely correct. Given that Cunning does suffer from diminishing returns, there exists a point where, in theory, Aim bonuses will actually yield more of a benefit than continuing to stack Cunning. The odds of anyone actually reaching that point however, are beyond slim.
  17. Given how xenophobic and isolationist the Chiss are, that's a somewhat contrived, but very realistic possibility. A group that spends thousands of years learning to hide from the galaxy at large usually tends to get pretty good at it.
  18. It's a bug with natural cover hardpoints that will also wipe any and all buffs gained from rolling into cover. You can work around it by manually activating portable cover behind objects to get the hard cover bonus.
  19. occasional drops from UT missions are your best bet
  20. Crew skill missions never yielded experience.
  21. Look for moddable Marauder armor that isn't class locked then.
  22. If you're not fighting easy trash you'll have plenty of time to find a perch and start sending death downrange. If you're fighting trash, toss a grenade and follow with Suppressive Fire and Rifle Shot, no need to deploy cover at all. If you're desperate for cover abilities, wait until you get your insta-Snipe after deploying cover, and learn to cover dance with portable cover. Half the challenge of being a Sniper is knowing when to look for cover, and when to stay mobile.
  23. This issue has absolutely nothing to do with the ability queue. How do I know? 1) It doesn't happen with portable cover 2) When this does occur on hard cover points, you'll lose any and all procced abilites from rolling into cover. Ballistic Dampeners? Gone. Snap Shot? Gone. Your best bet right now is to manually activate portable cover behind objects to get the hard cover bonus, but without this bug occuring.
