  1. Proof, Examples, or Photo's. Washing is quite a recent fad, and offers nothing except the smell of chemicals.
  2. Yes, /gquit, but that's the fast, easy, quitters way ... Why not try something more fun, like sleeping with the GM's GF, inviting the guild to a nekkid raid run because you know of an 'exploit' that requires you to have zero gear on ... use your imagination
  3. Aside from wearing sunscreen, the other suggestion is 'Repair all' - makes a big difference
  4. [sqlException (0x80131904): Invalid column name 'Type'. Invalid column name 'PVE'.] My kung fu must be weak *** after some testing, it appears changing the first three options (server types etc) can give rise to this error.
  5. = incorrect spelling of 'Traditional'
  6. Take a Jedi with you, then no loot for a Jedi will there be
  7. No lag here, and I have a volume control on my machine, guess your ZX81 isn't up to the strain
  8. Im not special enough, I don't have the permissions to access this
  9. I have difficulty reading between the lines, and as your response was only two lines and contains nothing of substance, I am sure I can be excused on this occasion. I think you mean that with meters you can measure how you are doing, well, that's nice, but personally I prefer to judge on results. If you can come top of the DPS meters but your team loses, then you may not have really been a lot of use. Knowing how to play (your character?) is important, but topping meters isn't - I prefer playing with teams, rather than, groups of meter huggers blaming the lowest dps for any failures. Case in point, as we all already know, sacrificing your dps meter top slot to save the healer from getting a bashing ... blah blah blah - we've all heard it before So thanks for making your position clearer Egolus, but you haven't actually added anything to the conversation have you?
  10. So, more downtime ... The promise of new bits, and fixes! Glad I spent the day at work and not just staring at the screen waiting for the servers to come up Maybe tomorrow will be a good day for a day off
  11. As a recent convert from WoW, this gets an Amen from me. Played a few heroics and the freedom of not having to impress everyone with huge numbers is amazing, I still made the effort, I still wanted to contribute to the team, but I was relying on my own (probably distorted) views of my playing, and not what the others were thinking about.
  12. In-game chat is too easily abused, if you really want to chat, TS/Vent etc. Please don't ask them to waste investment time/effort in this (imho)
  13. As a final update to this sorry story ... After my last ticket at Origin was closed without any feedback, I opened a new one mentioning that I wouldn't allow Origin to steal from me, and that I would look at taking legal action against them. Within 12 hours I had an email saying that I had been refunded, still waiting to see it on the credit card of course, but it looks like a good ending to me. The ticket I raised has no comments from them in it, and remains open. So, as usual, perseverance pays off when fighting the big companies ...
  14. I have contacted my Credit Card company to start a dispute over the purchase. Oddly, the purchase has disappeared from my account at Origin, so they have no record of it ... except I have the email receipt still of course, they also closed the ticket on their system without even a reply to it, just click, go away ... which I won't of course. I've opened a new ticket mentioning the theft of funds and legal action, but I suspect my CC company will have to eventually get the money for me, doesn't seem like Origin have any intention of being honourable. Ah well, still playing the game, time to immerse
  15. So, due to bad wording on the order form at Origin, I used a shortened first name to place my order with my credit card. Long story short, the order was under review, so I asked for them to cancel, I'll re-order with my full name. All done, playing happily thank you. I discover they charged me for the first and second order, so I have spent the last week trying to get a refund, Origin insist the refund should come from BioWare (Who didn't take my order). The order has been removed from my order list at Origin's site, and they now don't reply to case notes, and the live chat thing is a waste of time, last time I tried, the guy just shut the session down without even responding to me. Any one else found a way to talk to Origin to try and get a decent customer service experiance from them ?
