  1. Here are my thoughts on round 2: I too would like to see a second floor, or at the very least an accessible balcony overlooking the main hall, even if you can't add additional rooms. The entrance wall needs a double large wall hook. Please add more ceiling hooks EVERYWHERE. I agree with removal of pre-placed decorations including rugs and lights and replacement with hooks. Some of the small green floor hooks on pedestals in the Western Lodging have pillars right on top of them. I like the Noble Throne Facade decoration. Great idea. It will be useful in other rooms as well. I agree that the throne room dais should have two medium hooks and/or a large hook. Please add hooks in all outdoor areas, especially in and near water (for my pets) and outside the Killik cave, There are lots of outdoor areas with no hooks. Also please add additional hooks inside the cave, including the back part. The Drawing Room, Guest Chamber, Study, and the room in the Northern Lodgings that connects to the Western Lodgings all have the same frustrating hook layout. The layout does not allow us to center a large decoration in the room. Please allow us to do this. This is a problem throughout other strongholds as well. Centering and symmetry should be possible in all rooms. Another problem across all strongholds is our inability to place large decorations against walls. There are large decorations that work in the middle of a room; but there are many that do not. Some have a flat back that would ideally go against a wall but the placement of large floor hooks is usually too far away from walls for it to be possible and most of these decorations can't be moved to the edge of the hook anyway, which also makes it impossible for us to place these decorations back to back. There have been plenty of requests to increase the x,y axis range, which could solve this problem if increased enough. There are several decorations that cannot be picked up once put down because they cover the entire hook, such as Irrigated Garden, which I cannot pick up from a centerpiece hook in my Rishi stronghold. At this point the only way to get them up is to pick up and redo the entire room/area. I'm probably the only one who doesn't care that much about being able to mount all over the SH but I'm glad that's being addressed because it seems like a big issue for many players. please address the other bugs pointed out in this thread, such as disappearing hooks, etc. Also, please address the existing bugs such as decorations with the same name overwriting each other. This has been a problem for a while now and needs to be fixed so we can use all decorations. I love the stronghold and can't wait till it goes live but please make sure it's done and not buggy before release.
  2. What is your general feeling on the Stronghold? I love it. Are there any specific rooms you like, or don't like, and why? Please be specific. I like all the rooms. Does the Stronghold feel too big? Too small? Why? Just right. If you could change one thing about the Stronghold, what would it be? More than one thing: please remove the vendor droids (vendor icon toggle in strongholds would be great). would love thrantas instead of taxis. More ceiling light hooks please. everywhere. remove door to nowhere there are large outdoor areas with no hooks. more hooks are better. please add hooks to watery areas outside so i can place some of my pets in the water. add death star shield generator, please. Does the increased hook density feel too cluttered? no. more hooks are better. i have not really tested placing decorations. Does the number and placement of hooks feel too restrictive given the Stronghold's decoration cap? nothing on this yet. Anything else you want to add? I like the kilik cave. I am not a fan of kiliks generally, but they are peculiar to Alderaan, so it's fun having them there. I like being able to populate the cave at different levels. I think i'lm going to put all those Kiliks to work for me ... thank you for not pre-decorating the stronghold (for the most part). I'm happy to see no crates, wires, or junk heaps lying around. just get rid of the vendor droids. I don't mind the pre-selected light fixtures but I also wouldn't mind if they were gone and replaced with ceiling hooks. thanks for a lovely new stronghold. I can't wait to get mine on live server!
  3. This change made it impossible for soloists to craft dark projects. Please provide a way for solo players to obtain the materials for crafting dark projects. Also increasing the drop rate for recovered relics would be great. The current drop rate disincentivizes playing the flashpoints that drop them. There's no point in doing them after the first time. If there was a decent drop rate I would run these flashpoints more.
  4. I have not been wishing for a rishi sh, but i too am disappointed. I don't mind a large sh, but this one is difficult to navigate and has too many areas/buildings/doorways that I can't access. If it's my sh I don't want a bunch of buildings I can't get into. I also agree that the aesthetic is too run down. I don't like the junkyard feel. there is too much junk lying around already. i didn't like this about the umbara sh either -- crates and wires everywhere. now it's not just crates and wires, it's literally junk. There is a beach, but no waterfall -- there are lots of waterfalls on rishi. There are rooms that have open ceilings but I can't get to the top and look down into them. i thought i'd be able to look down from the sky deck and see my sh on the ground, but all i see are clouds. in the rooms i still can't put decorations which require a large hook all the way against the wall. I do not pvp, but i am nevertheless very impressed with the innovations you've added for that purpose. however, i would suggest, as others have done, that we have a toggle to disable all pvp features. also, there are gates that can't be turned off. i want to turn them all off. when the new sh was announced my intent was to buy it as a matter of course. but now i'm not so sure. it's such a disappointment aesthetically. i wasn't looking for a beach resort, i wasn't really looking for anything but i'm not pleased with what we're getting. it's not inconsistent with some parts of rishi, but it seems slummier than raiders cove. it's like an abandoned, run down, used up, ghost town version of raiders cove. it's like what i imagine the raiders left behind when they settled at raiders cove. which i guess is what makes it a "hideaway." but honestly if any of my characters were to settle there, the first thing they'd do is clean up all that junk and get into all the buildings. i do like speedy. keep speedy.
  5. this is also happening on female body style 1 with Reaver's Headgear: https://imgur.com/a/Je4NBPv I wish they'd fix it. It's pretty creepy even for a sith lord.
  6. OMG Thank you! I did check before posting but I guess I missed it.
  7. Can we please get the outfit worn by Yan Pengu of the Nightlife event? Thanks.
  8. I read through the entire thread. Most of the feedback is naturally from GSF players and I'm sure will be of great value in improving the experience. Since it looks like you are trying to expand the GSF playerbase, I will give you my two cents as a non GSF player. But I can only respond to the first question: Is the learning curve too steep? Yes. So yes. When it first came out, I was looking forward to trying GSF based on the hype pre-release. I didn't get past the tutorial. I tried the tutorial again a few times but never felt comfortable trying a match. Last summer I was determined to finish DvL so I played GSF. I did the tutorial again but still had no clue. I did the matches I needed and my experience has been described in this thread many times. I didn't mind dying over and over again because I fully expected it and I just needed the DvL achievements. And yes, even though I was only doing it for DvL I did try to actually play the matches, but to no avail. I was even more confused at the end of them than before I started. I don't PVP either, but at least in the few matches I've done (mainly for DvL) I actually understood (at least some of) what was going on around me. Not so in GSF. It's not so much that there is a learning curve of being new and needing to practice to figure it out, it's the feeling that there is no hope of ever figuring it out. There's no chance to do anything in a match and the tutorial is completely incomprehensible. It's not fun. If changes are made I will definitely try it again.
  9. I am an avid reader of the forums, though I rarely post. When the DvL event was announced, I agreed with much of the criticism, but decided to go for Legendary anyway. (Having completed it hasn't changed my mind about the event or about wanting to do group content. And I found the DvL reward crates very disappointing.) I generally do not do group content for all of the reasons that have been mentioned before in these forums, so i was dreading the raids, pvp, and HM FPs. I had to use GF for all the FPs (the ubiquitous advice of "group with guildies" is easier said than done). The reason for my post is to share my experience with the community because it was very good. Groups weren't always successful and there were many frustrating wipes and players quitting group for various reasons. But my experience with other players was entirely positive. Everyone was helpful and, for the most part, patient. No one was rude, or mean, or critical. And all advice and direction was given in a good-natured manner. I know from reading here this has not been everyone's experience, which is why I wanted to put it out there. And, I wanted to issue a general thanks to the player base for helping me complete the event.
  10. Yes, still looking. But unfortunately, now I'm having computer issues. I definitely want to get them done when I can get back into the game.
  11. I should be on Wednesday and Thursday. I will whisper you in game if you're on.
  12. I have the five hardest HM flashpoints left to complete for the DvL event: Tython, Korriban, Rishi, Blood Hunt, and Manaan. I have not been able to complete these using group finder. Is anyone interested in getting a group together to complete these? I prefer pub side as I'm better on my pub side DvL character than my imp side DvL character. Geared in 216/220 mix. Please PM me if you're interested.
  13. I believe you have to do the first nine chapters of KotFE and you had to have been subscribed on January 11.
  14. If anyone hasn't done the mission yet and is interested in getting the hidden achievement please post here or pm me. I can do the mission on either pub or imp side.
  15. Good point. Thank you. I have HK-51 & Treek but not on this alt (free lvl 60 had so many comps at the end of ch. 9 I didn't think I needed more!) Funny thing is, until then LS trooper only did things Koth liked and appreciated. I blame bad influence of Firebrand for DS choice!!
  16. This thread should probably have a spoiler warning.
  17. The ratings on the gear are too low to provide any incentive to repeat the content. The lowest should be 208 and the hardest content should provide gear better than 216. I don't need another way to get 208/216 gear. I would like a way to get something better (as a solo player). Static gear doesn't make sense to me. Alliance crates drop orange gear but soloists (the apparent target player base for EC) cannot get level appropriate item modifications to put into it from playing solo content (except for pulling them out of data crystal gear). I have plenty of orange gear I'd like to use if only I had something to put into it. Please give us a way to customize the appearance of the new companions. Also, since I don't post much, I'll use this opportunity to state again (though it's off topic) how WRONG it is for BW to withhold the "One for All" achievement even though I completed it. To be denied the achievement after working so hard to complete it, spending so much time and effort to complete it, is grossly unfair and not what I expect from a game I PAY a subscription for.
  18. I have only brought my free lvl 60 through KotFE. She is now level 65 and has all 200 gear with the one piece of 208 gear that was dropped from the initial star fortress quest. I did the one and only achievement the night before the nerf but didn't get credit for it. (I didn't try sooner because I was grinding for better gear, but once the companion nerf was announced I figured I'd try it.) I'm really pissed off about it because I spent a lot of time and effort and frustration on completing the damn thing and complied with all the requirements in the written description. I opened a ticket -- the droid said submit a bug report then the bug report droid said submit a customer service ticket. I want credit for the achievement because I completed it. But I digress . . . . I don't want to play in a group. Which is why it was taking me so long to get better gear. I'm getting all this orange armor from heroics but I can't get anything to put into it without having to do missions that require grouping. I did all the NS heroics after the nerf and found it much more tedious, so much so that I haven't even bothered trying the star fortress in either mode. Koth died a few times. I died once or twice. The companion grind is tedious enough, especially as it's repeating old content. Now making everything take longer makes the game more frustrating and not fun at all. I've been playing swtor a lot -- it is the ONLY game I play and I play every day -- and now I just don't want to play anymore. I used to do conquests every week, but i'm not interested anymore since the changes made to that. Also not a fan of level sync. And I really want to be able to change Lana out of that hideous outfit. I never use her because of it. And I think it's ridiculous to require me to do pvp content to get some of the alliance companions. I know I provided more/different info than you asked for but I'm not very vocal around here, though I read the forums a lot, and I figured if the devs are really reading this, I should take the opportunity to say what I have to say.
  19. I just spent several hours completing this achievement and it was not granted. It doesn't say anything anywhere about having to get the final hit -- which is a ridiculous requirement. The description is wrong and misleading. And after tomorrow I probably won't be able to do it again. Am very angry right now.
  20. I'm open to the possibility but I don't see how I could have avoided it. The Sith Inquisitor has to go to a tomb in a cave that is at the very western end of the east-west solid yellow path leading out from the Kaas Expansion District (approx: -1360,48). The closest quick travel locations are the Kaas City Expansion or Outpost Warden. Either way you have to pass through the area of the Friends of Old heroic which includes the entire area between the cave, the Kaas City Expansion and the imperial camp back up the ramp where there's a medical droid. I just checked when I read your post. I got the heroic mission and when you hover over the spinner on the map, the area of the heroic mission includes the entire area in front of the cave. If you can tell me how to get to the cave without traveling through the heroic area my next Sith Inquisitor would be very appreciative.
  21. Against. I just finished chapter one in the SI class story. I had to go back to NS and DK as a mandatory part of the story. I had to go to a location on DK that required traveling through a heroic area, then to the dark temple, then back to the location past the heroic area. This took long enough as it is (just being able to speeder past the enemy NPCs). Having to actually fight my way through a heroic area twice (not to mention the mob infested dark temple) just to get to the location required for the class story, while I'm focused on completing the class story missions and not at all interested in completing the heroic, would just be an aggravation and a waste of time. The fact that the fights might be easy notwithstanding.
