  1. Not on the list: World Bosses/Definable Objectives -- Most of the endgame world bosses require at least 4 people at very bare minimum and are much more fun less of a long grind with 8 or more (depending). It'd be nice to have that option. Aside from that, being able to set up a personalized LFG that is server wide would be sufficient. LFG - Belsavis Dailies or Outbreak Dailies or etc. Even PVP group set up if you could join battlegrounds as a group would be nice to have. (not sure if they implemented that yet or not, i know was on the 'to do' list)
  2. There's all kinds of misleading info all over the forums, so a definitive answer about this sort of thing would make a lot of people happy. Is there a way for armorcrafters to make aug-slotted mod gear other than helm/chest/legs other than via the new campaign gear? Can a lvl 35 have aug slotted gloves/boots/belt/wrists? Please and thank you. Note to the above poster: there was a dev tracker post that biochem will still be making aug implants on crit, the statement about double implants was a mistake.
  3. Agreed. They have specifically stated that orange items that are only available from quests will not teach schematics, but they haven't (from anywhere I have read) clarified if world drop, FP drop, or commendation orange pieces can teach schematics. A lot of those are basically palet-swaps of stuff that already is available for crafting however, so they may not have. I'm most interested in the process of learning the glove/boots/belt/wrist schematics, which are currently uncraftable in game. Will I have to farm them from a mission profession? Can they be purchased somewhere? Are these the schematics that require r/e to learn? This is the last question I really have about 1.2 so it'd be nice to have it cleared up, especially since they didn't clear it up in the 1.2 q&a session.
  4. Several things: devs have stated, look it up in the dev tracker, that most of the 'new recipes' in 1.2 are from R/E and that most of previous orange items are r/eable. It's my supposition, though I could be wrong, that items that can only be obtained by one class (ie - via rewards from heroics that are BoP, class quests, etc) will not be r/eable for their schematic, but all the drops from FPS, comm vendor items, random drops will be r/eable. As someone else pointed out, lots of items have exactly the same look, just a different name. Heck, on my operative I sometimes complete a heroic and have 3 options for an orange piece... 2 of which are identical in appearance but with different customs pieces inside. I've been stockpiling all crafting mats since day one. Because A) cybertech for my guild means i need them all constantly, B) you never know when a game is brand new what will end up being in HUGE demand after a patch. ^_- not a reply to this poster, but they've stated that crafters will be able to R/E the current in game augments after the patch.. which means that even the green/blue ones you get from current slicing missions will be in demand- to give recipes they can't get from trainers. early 1.2 credit grab, I'm in. (though probably after people buy their desired legacy items.. so going prices are probably going to be best 1-3 days after the patch (gives 50s time to build up some money after they zero out from the legacy buys)
  5. erm... i believe there are a couple of lvl 23 earpieces that start at blue.. and have no r/e upgrade, from all my research. Just a thought.
  6. This. Put it in the Casino on Nar (because dang, a casino and nothing to gamble on?). Make the buy-in old, useless (after a point) daily comms. Make the rewards social and/or unique custom pieces, unique color variants on speeders (saw a mention of color variants in a dev post) etc. Maybe super rarely award operation crafting mats, etc. Any odds and ends that don't make sense to add into the game lore or story wise.
  7. There's one or two (probably more) helmets that would probably clip with a hood up. However, there are several masks that should not have this problem at all, even with a set 'hood' shape. A handful of helms/masks that prevent hooding shouldn't remove hood availability from the game. Likewise, I shouldn't have to wear a different armor style to be able to have a hood-down maskless toon either. Probably low priority, but please look into it.
  8. Second Nautolan. Any species that can speak huttese can speak basic if they learn the language, as made apparent by in game species speaking both at different points. Personally hoping for: Garn - always loved the three-eyed goats. Voss - some claim they already intended Voss to be playable earlier in development, not sure about that though. Devaronians - Give the devils their due. Please? Cathar - Because they're in game, have plenty of lore behind them, and one was playable in KOTOR. Bothans - Many died to bring you this suggestion. Bothan Imperial Agent ftw!
  9. .....are full of people who will rage on, and on, and on until they get exactly what they want, and even then will complain about how long it took. I can't think of a single MMO official forum that isn't the same. Having said that, some things: I watched most of the Guild Summit that I could (after work), I've read just about every dev blog, post, and interview so far. This is what I can surmise from all the details: The team is aware of server imbalance and low populations. Most of this came from the large number of servers needed to satiate the need from beta to release. EVERY MMO experiences this, though they could have had a better plan post surge. There are some issues in the code with 'transferring' characters from one server to another that they have not worked out yet to the satisfaction of the dev team, as is noted by the 'wrong' characters being transferred to PTS, etc. (though there are other issues hinted at but not detailed) The team IS working on making transfers possible and seamless. I'd prefer perfect transfer techniques over glitchy, uncertain ones any day. Server balance (and server mergers) won't work unless they are able to copy characters over properly. Since the devs themselves likely don't have good answers for 'when' or 'how' character transfers or server mergers will work exactly, it's best from their perspective NOT to make any statements about them. It sucks for the people most effected, but that's how it is. Impatient people are impatient. They will put their time and money towards something that holds their interest. Not a criticism, just a statement of fact. Trying to USE your 'unsubscribe' as some kind of leverage against people working hard to make the best game they can, however, is asinine. You don't think they want to make the best game they can? Why not? WHO WOULDN'T? Seriously. Chill. If you need to unsubscribe until they fix what you want, that's fine. Acting like you're entitled to instant gratification just proves you aren't worth paying attention to in the first place. Healing Balances: As an operative healer, you guys/gals are amusing. Seriously. I can heal just fine and ops healers are considered the gimp of the lot. Here's a thought: if you find after this patch that you can't heal 'good' enough anymore, you were never a good healer to begin with. Learn to play the game. --edit-- To be clear, I have a lot of gripes about this game myself. Most of them are being addressed in 1.2, or in the future. I've been playing MMOs since they were text based. In all honesty I have never seen a dev team so devoted towards backing up their promises and addressing as many concerns as possible as quickly as the TOR team has. Bravo.
  10. When I'm buying schematics/looking for new, I start a /say chat, shift click each item that I'm not sure if I have or not (after awhile you get familiar with the ones you've looked up 50 times ^_^) and close the GTN, hit return and i've got a log of all the stuff I was looking at, click through them as I search my crafting list... it's kind of a hassle, but much less so then writing out a checklist. Sad thing is, i've had people buy one of the things I wanted while I was looking it up like that, so an easier process of elimination would be great. Though I didn't know you could minimize windows to keep them out? Gotta check that out.
  11. having something like this actually extends the 'usefulness' of running Ops, HM FPS, anything that drops r/e able gear or turn-ins for gear. Since the actual 'armor' is the only thing that needs be r/ed, and you can strip the custom pieces out first, you technically don't even need to original 'armor' anymore anyway, so hopefully you'll get lucky with your first R/E with the new higher probability r/e they promised? or did that not happen?
  12. I am hoping that there are some CS patch notes that are not listed on the PTS at this point, because I remember they said several times that they have '4 pages' of just CS patch notes and by no means is what they have listed now '4 pages' (unless you're a freshmen college student, using triple space and a humungous font).
  13. are orange droid parts going to be crit-craftable to bring them in line with the other armor crafting professions? Any luck making a wider range of mods available to craft to bring it in line with artifice enhancement crafting? While I also deplore the massive, massive investment in resources needed to cybertech craft for a whole guild (let alone alts/companions for alts), i'm much more interested in seeing some parity in what we can craft and how useful it is compared to others. Without droid parts crit-craftable, droid companions become the weakest link. Without some tank mods at the very least made craftable, our mod crafting is gimped compared to artifice which is insane. Anyone PTSing know the answers to these? Thanks. Going to post a question in the dev Q&A this week if noone from PTS can answer.
  14. I WAS planning a mass suicide/rain of bodies.. but you've ruined it now. It just wouldn't be the same.
