  1. The existence and popularity of Call of Duty disproves your theory. They've been doing the exact same thing for like... 3 games.
  2. The only problem here is that the Empire Huttball whiners will very quickly realize that Voidstar is so, so, soooooooooo much worse than Huttball. And half of them will then go back to the Empire never to complain about Huttball again.
  3. And I will proceed to do so when the piss-poor raidframes that Bioware has decided I prefer will show me who has debuffs consistently, instead of showing me worthless garbage (hey look... that guy has Force Might. Awesome. Useful information) Seriously, UI mods. Or at least let me customize the raidframes beyond making people's health bars bigger. But until then, if you aren't the person I'm currently healing, so I can see in my target frame that you have bad things on you, I'm not going to be dispelling you. Blame Bioware for deciding that we don't need a customizable UI.
  4. Reasons I will quit your Warzone: Its Voidstar. No reason to stay as Republic, its a loss. Its in progress and we're losing horribly. Its Voidstar. The Imp team has 10 people (every other game) Its Voidstar. I can see that we have 0 healers and/or the healers are worthless Imps have all 3 turrets Its Voidstar. Forgot the most important one: Its clear my team eats paint chips.
  5. Hey there Mr. Invalid Comparison, haven't seen you since... the last thread I opened! Healers get medals for healing. DPS gets medals for damage. You both get medals for kills, since you both participated in the kill. Any questions?
  6. I imagine this will stop a lot of the crying on the forums. Every one of these changes seems like they are really listening to the players. No more medal farming. Valor up quicker in WZs. No more Ilum box hunting. No more instant Alderaan side speeders. More medals for healers (kill credit). No more DoTs interrupting caps. Bioware is listening, gentlemen.
  7. Why? Sub-50 PvP is both A) More fun B) Less gear dependent All my SW:TOR PvP videos are sub 50, I am absolutely NOT looking forward to hitting the cap and watching all the joy of PvP implode :|
  8. LIGHT 'EM UP! random lowercase nonsense so the forum won't automatically downsize my battlecry.
  9. Squiddish

    Unsaid PVP rules?

Pretty sure he very specifically says that one, actually.
  10. Killing everyone who has ever failed a mission is a leadership model that will see drastic diminishing returns.
  11. I don't know why everyone is saying they have such trouble finding OPvP while leveling. Are you all Empire? I'm betting you're all Empire. I play Republic on the Black Vulkars server, and I get into at least 5-10 fights with Sith while leveling on every planet from Tatooine to 50. Seriously, every other quest some OPvP happens. Once you get to the OPvP zones, of course (like the Dune Sea).
  12. Plus, I will never get tired of leveling up an alt and making sure I kill my quota of 10 Sith before I leave the Dune Sea. NEVER.
  13. I lol whenever I see these ZOMG THAR IS NO GANK REWARD threads pop up. And yes, I play on a PvP server. Although I certainly wouldn't complain if some reward, merc comms or whatever, was added to world PvP, I world PvP because... hold on to something this is going to blow your *********** mind... I like to PvP. HOLY CRAP SQUIDDISH! ARE YOU INSANE!? WHO PVPS FOR FUN YOU PVP FOR GEAR LOLZORZ!!!1! When did doing anything in a game require rewards to be worth doing? Seriously, where did it start? Wait, don't answer that yet, let me get in my Anti-WoW-hatred bunker. Ok, go.
  14. Your average MMO player, especially self titled "real pvpers", has about the intellect of an adolescent gorilla. Thus, they are incapable of evaluating the merits of getting into the next game faster, and only see *** LITTLE NUMBERS at the end of the game they won so quickly. Instant gratification is all their little brains can handle
