  1. Obviously you don't know squat about Rugby. The ball person has to kneel in the zone in order to score. They don't just run into it or even reach the ball in the tri to score. I watched a game where a girl ran through the tri and the score didn't count.
  2. This, a reasonable request that will benefit everyone in the long run.
  3. This game has the exact same MMO content of every other MMO. I don't see what the issue is.
  4. I definitely will. I am really enjoying my character, and when I am max level and geared out, well there's 7 more story lines I get to play. For 15 a month to experience hours and hours of game play, well I think that's a steal. The only downer to this game is the forums.
  5. You do know the Jedi code right? If you act against that, it's darkside points.
  6. I think they had the content in development, and planned before launch.
  7. You don't have to pay for your 30 free days. Cancel your card info you nub all MMO's do this.
  8. Or if you're a girl. I have no problems with my Naga.
  9. I like it overall, but there are some things that are wonky. When my BH grapple works again, I'll be happy. Or if it worked on levels higher that my character like Force Jump, so it could possibly counter people who use Force Jump, and like abilities to get out of the pit.
  10. Okay first off, you don't have to avenge Braden's death. The story gives you the choice to feel what you want about the story. Second off Bounty Hunters don't always kill their targets to cash in on a bounty. This is where you are wrong. I often take people alive because the bounty calls for it. With that said, I don't particularly care for Gault either, and was pretty disappointed that he became a companion instead of a bounty.
  11. I dunno I'm on Vorksr and it seems that it is pretty evenly matched Republic vrs Empire.
  12. Thanks for the response! And more importantly thanks for the tips!
  13. Today I have been playing some HuttBall, and I noticed players jumping out of the pits to score a point in the endzone. Is this suppose to happen and am I just a noob? If so, am I the only one who thinks it is an unfair advantage?
  14. I am really enjoying the game, and in my experience when I want the multiplayer aspect of it, it's there. Run a flash point, or do Heroics. Though I do admit, there is a huge community aspect missing without having server forums. I think this hinders the multiplayer aspect of the game a lot.
  15. The OP is spoken like a person who has never beta or alpha tested anything before.
  16. Thank you for the bug fixes! Now, let me get on my soap box. *takes deep breath* I don't understand why people are complaining about bugs, and how they need to be fixed now now now when Bioware has been releasing fixes daily. I feel that the vast majority of the complainers don't understand how complicated it is to fix bugs, and that while they feel strongly for their bugs they are being worked on and will be fixed. I guess this is because we live in a society where we feel entitled to what we want, and will rabble rouse if we don't get it, and twist things around to some sort of grave injustice until we are given what we want. I personally think Bioware has done a fantastic job with this game. I've bounced around from MMO to MMO, sticking mostly with WoW and FFXI. I've seen failed MMO launches, last years Final Fantasy XIV. I do not think that SWTOR is that. I am also old enough to remember when Blizzard launched WoW, and have been there through the years of bad choices Blizzard made, and fixed. Let me tell you guys, WoW at launch, was terrible, and clunky, and had many of the problems that many of the people here are kicking and screaming about in regards to SWTOR. The one difference though? WoW allowed macros and add-ons, so more pro-active users could take their criticism and turn it into a UI mod, or Auction House mod. The more successful mods Blizzard took, and integrated into the game in their own way. That is the WoW you see today. I'm really enjoying the game, but then, I am really enjoying the story driven plot. The bugs are annoying, I spent two days unable to play the game because of one. But this isn't the first and only MMO where my game play has been crippled due to a bug, and I understand this happens with video games, and software in general.
  17. Bioware has been releasing weekly fixes since launch, which tells me they're being very proactive, and fixing bugs. They don't have the staff that Blizzard is able to employ due to the success of WoW. Give it a bit, and they will. Just like with WoW, Blizzard was slow at first until they hired more people, and worked out the kinks in the system. I'm really impressed that Bioware has effectively dealt with the queue. I think they should get more praise, and less flames.
  18. Am I the only one who thinks that the whole issue with Slicing is a part of a bigger problem? I feel that crafting as a whole is completely useless. Why bother buying a piece of gear off the GM when you get equal items as quest rewards, or as random drops when you run instances? Also there seems to be a huge abundant of blues and purples at low levels. In other games these items were rare, and their value on the market reflected this. Why should a player buy my blue piece of armor off the GM when it is practically handed to them for free from doing a Heroic or an Instance like Hammer Station? I know common items aren't suppose to turn a profit and are desgined to be money sinks instead, and that is fine. But when a person can't sell a single piece of purple armor on their recipie list, that person is not going to invest in mats, and as you can see it affects the whole market. While I don't think the slicing nerf was bad, I do think it was a poor attempt to put a bandaide on a fractured arm. One thing I do want to say that I think people aren't taking into consideration is the 40k cost of training for a mount at level 25. I didn't have to buy a mount thankfully, but that 40k was pretty much all the money I had at that level. I wasn't able to put anything towards gear, or the GM at all until I picked up slicing last week and power leveled that.
  19. I don't know, it seems to be working fine for me. I usually get the blue patterns on the first or second time I reverse engineer some thing. Also, I noticed that not all things yield patterns. In your case, could it be the specific craft? I'm Armormech.
  20. Yeah seriously, what they should have done was put level caps on crafting levels. Slicing was nice, but it wasn't the get rich quick thing everyone thought it was, especially if you were trying to support an "honest" trade skill with it and had to buy mats.
