  1. hey, I played the game when it was released, gotten like full battle master gear in the first month (it was december january). Now a year has passed and Im wondering if major issues were fixed: -poor performance in warzones -Ilum trading mech kills -> zerging with huge lag -> farming those boxes -> Ilum turned off ; did it got redesigned? -space missions; any new? did a "SWTOR Space Combat in 3 click's!: YT video a while back -end game content

  8. Because the Area is no longer flagged as PvP, so i.e. you can not use pvp consumables. I have HeroBlade myself and all you have to do is right click on Ilum area in regions browser, go flag properites, toggle "pvp", k.

GAME DEISIGN SUGESTIONS (“buff this/that!”) DO NOT BELONG HERE <updated 2012-01-25 18CET> -JEDI CONSULAR -ABILITIES -DOUBLE STRIKE: (tooltip not specific) “strikes the enemy twice”, where it seems the first hit has a greatly increased critical chance, and the second hit uses player’s critical chance. First hit on rare occasions (about 5%) does not crit, which is a bug if it’s actually a guaranteed to crit. -FORCE WAVE: (animation delay) after using this instant ability there is about 0,5s before it going of due to long animation; this often leads to a situation when player uses the ability, gets stunned/mesmerised/knocked back and the ability does not deal damage/do knockback, but the cool down is applied -MEDITATION: (animation bug) for Twileks, and possible other races, the animations stops before end and the character does not join his hands but rather take a strange pose as seen here: http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/4194/twilek.jpg -MIND SNAP: (animation delay) this ability is of GCD and is pretty much instantaneous, but when used in conjunction with other abilities in intense pvp it rarely works – an example; jedi shadow uses his SHADOW STRIKE ability with a long animation wind up, which triggers GCD and starts its animation. At the same time his target starts casting heal, to which jedi shadow wants to respond with instantaneous MIND SNAP: the interrupt won’t happen until SHADOW STRIKEs animation does not finish, which is very often after the heals completion. -PROJECT: (animation delay) after using this instant ability there is about 0,5s before it going of due to long animation; this often leads to a situation when player uses the ability, gets stunned/mesmerised/knocked back and the ability does not deal damage, but the cool down is applied -CLAIRVOYANT STRIKE: (tooltip not specific) “strikes the enemy twice”, where it seems the first hit has a greatly increased critical chance, and the second hit uses players critical chance. First hit on rare occasions (about 5%) does not crit, which is a bug if it’s actually a guaranteed to crit. -FORCE CLOACK: (general bug) will not work upon key press and mouse click in intense situations. Additionally, when a jedi shadow is a target of a projectile attack that does not deal instantaneous damage, i.e. TRACER MISSLE, and FORCE CLOACKs just as the casting of the TRACER MISSLE is about to finish, the enemy player is still able to finish casting his attack and the TRACER MISSLE will proceed to chase down jedi shadow and deal damage, uncloaking him -SHADOW STRIKE: (animation delay) while the ability is instantaneous, is has very long (~1s) wind up animation which often makes the ability cancel itself upon situations: target changes his facing during the 1s wind up, the ability is used again (as button spamming, which results in animation playing in loops), any other ability is used, jedi shadow is stunned/mesmerised/knocked back -SHADOW’S TRAINING: (general bug) gives approximately 18% bonus damage to PROJECT instead of 25% -SPINNING KICK: (animation delay) stunts the target for 2 seconds, and with 3 talent points increases the damage target receives by 9%. Because of the following: <SPINNING KICK USED> -> <1,5s GCD> -> <animation> -> <GDC ends> -> <animation ends> -> <another ability animation windup> (+lag) it is impossible for jedi shadow to benefit from 9% more damage dealt in the remaining 0,5s window, as next abilities damage will deal damage out of this timeframe -SPINNING STRIKE: (animation delay) after using this instant ability there is about 0,5s before it going of due to long animation; this often leads to a situation when player uses the ability, gets stunned/mesmerised/knocked back and the ability does not deal damage, but the cool down is applied -STEALTH: (general bug) stealth is usable only when out of combat, and the time it takes for a jedi shadow to go out of combat who’s not dealing any direct/dot damage, not receiving heals from in-combat healer, or receiving any debuffs/buffs/ being targeted by enemy varies from 4 seconds to 15 seconds. Detailed mechanics of this are unknown, but it feels very random and buggy. A timer showing us time before we can re-enter stealth would be much appreciated. -LOW SLASH: (general bug) on occasions LOW SLASH that triggers any of the TEHNIQUEs damage effects will be immediately cancelled by the TEHNIQUEs damage procc (happens mostly in hectic intense pvp combat) -SKILL TREE -KINETIC COMBAT -RAPID RECOVERY: (tooltip not specific) does not update COMBAT TEHINIQUEs tooltip -PARTICLE ACCELERATION: (general bug) accelerated PROJECTs that consume charge of FORCE POTENCY don’t deal additional 50% critical damage -HARNESSED SHADOWS: (general bug) SLOW TIME wont grant HARNESSED SHADOWS -INFILTRATION -MISDIRECTION: (general bug/ tooltip not specific) says to increase movement speed by 15% which indicate all in stealth/out of stealth movement, which may not be the case. Additionally a stealthied jedi shadow with 3/3 in MISDIRECTION and with SPRINT moves slower than a normal running person with just SPRINT, tested in a straight line -BALANCE -ADJUDICATION: (general bug) does not increase the critical strike damage and/or does not stack with surge bonus
  15. 1.create a default character model with distinct class equipment for every class 2.give an toggle option to use "normalised player models in mass pvp" this way: -cpu has to load much less models, and ram has much less to handle -improved class recognition from players -less server load Which translates to better latency and fps in Ilium, which is a slideshow now even for high end PCs. Most people play with camera zoomed out anyway, and the optipn would be toggled, not mandatory. Seems also easy to develop compared to other solutions.

  17. IA/smuggles nerf is well deserved assasin/shadow counterpart has: 9% armor mitigation 50% armor mitigation on 1 ability that requirec a proc and behind the target 2 second out of stealth knockdown So what, youre still better than us? SUCK IT UP

  19. 2nd most populated english server in europe, Legions of Lettow 2 PM CET Illium 1: 34 republic, 50+ empire Illium 2: 20 republic, 40+ empire Illium 3: 4 republic, 40+ empire Im on Illium 3: -empire has no opposition but still manages to complete daily by roaming middle BO and collecting armaments -as republic I cant collect a single armament because I get in a 1v3+ fights all the time -empire have all BOs and recive 500% valor for killing 4 brave republic guys -republic brave guys get 20 valor for an empire kill -I decide to stealth around and kill roamers, but as soon as I get to vicinity of a BO a huge "RZEZNICC THE JEDI SAGE IS APPROACHING X BO" and all my surprise is blown, empire gank party arrives 30 second later The only solution for this is to play in a pvp group on Ilium 1-2 as underdogs for lesser rewards. The iniciatives to fight the uphill battle should be increased.

  21. 1.Rollback all valor gains after patch made on illium. 2.Close Illium, reinvnet Illium, just change it. 3.Get better netcode engineers, outsource it if you have to. THEN maybe Ill reconsider subscribing. Im pissed because I actually liked the game (and grinded warzones for battlemaster as republic on an underdog server Legions of Lettow EU)

    found this out first week, since then Im pvp tanking in full dps spec/dps items - taunts can be used in any stance ...
