  1. Any plans to fix the Temple Guardian's helmet as well? I know the change was to fix it stretching during cutscenes but now it is clipping through the top of old style hoods (at least on body type 2) If that's the tradeoff then personally I'd rather get the occasional clipping in cutscenes vs the constant clipping eyesore regardless if I'm in a cutscene or not when it wasn't present on my outfit before this patch. Edit: Here you can see it on the veteran elder blade's vest https://imgur.com/a/0D9VPFj
  2. Fair warning for people who use this helmet After the recent fix it now clips through the top of old style hoods (at least for body type 2) For reference the chest piece/hood I'm using is the veteran elder blade's vest. Don't really care if the helmet doesn't do that weird thing in cutscenes if this is the trade off, was super disappointed to find this out...
  3. I'm still capped with GS tokens from season 1, so before I accept rewards from this season that give more tokens I need to figure out how I'm going to spend them. Is there anything I can purchase with them when I already have all the old stuff, I don't like the companion customizations and I couldn't care less about the strongholds?
  4. Distribution chests do not give you direct upgrades from your current item rating. So if it drops a mainhand and the mainhand you currently have equipped is 326, the box isn't going to drop anything higher than 326 The boxes that say requisition instead of distribution are direct upgrades and will drop something that has a higher item rating than what you have equipped for whatever specific piece drops from the chest.
  5. What does this mean for ranked season? Is it still ending on the 14th or will it continue until 7.0 drops?
  6. My friend hates blue elephant people. So naturally I am 100% on board with making them into a companion
  7. If you're going to do this you need to reduce the amount it takes to complete some of the weeklies. It's easier to complete weeklies for Flashpoints than it is for PvP weeklies simply because the later currently requires 'wins'. With ranked requiring 8 matches and warzones requiring 10.
  8. Not sure this is one of those situations to write off with a simple 'thank you for your patience' lol
  9. The Alliance alert was datamined, but that doesn't guarantee it'll be in the following patch. At no point do I recall a dev saying he was going to be included in this patch.
  10. Can't be best companion if he isn't available
  11. It was a genuine mistake, plus it was fixed so no harm no foul. To be fair when I first read it I questioned it, but I just wrote it off when I remember that the devs are kinda biased when it comes to some of the trailers as a lot of the non cgi ones feature the Jedi Knight. So I assumed this was a similar case in that this story was being told from the republic point of view or something. (actually I don't know if killing Gnost-Dural is an option on the republic side, can someone fact check me on that?) This is probably going to look like I'm pointing fingers but I'm genuinely curious, why didn't any of the developers or other story writers who proof read/reviewed this story bit (if they even do that sort of thing, and if not why?) not catch that and say "Whoa, we might have a bit of a hiccup with Gnost-Dural." 'cause it sounds like the fans are the ones who needed to point this out. Actually if any players have an answer for me too I'd love to know! EDIT: Also, there is still a bit of a mistake in the short story; “What fortunate timing,” Master Satele replied. “There is someone I would like *him* to speak with.” This is right after the part where Syl says Sal-Daron (previously Gnost-Dural until the change) wanted to see Satele. I believe Sal-Daron is female.
  12. Honestly I would settle for a temporary solution until the devs decide what they want to do with warzone filters. Like we could get something similar to how tacticals and utilities are treated in that they can be changed during the countdown for when the warzones starts, except in this case you'd be allowed to leave the warzone during this time frame without getting the leave penalty.
  13. So when you say 'Retire the replica rewards from the vendor" does that mean the ones that are planned to be released (and have been released) will be completely removed from the vendor eventually and not available for future purchase?
  14. http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20180206 Is it just me, or did they really post a gif of the LIGHTNING tuning to advertise the VOLATILE tuning currently on the cartel market? I mean I guess they are similar enough but still... smh
  15. I know jack squat about coding etc. and I realize last minutes bugs are just as disheartening for them as it is for us but that's not going to stop me from feeling annoyed when the most common post in the developer tracker is: "Unfortunately something something delay/bug thank you for your patience!" Honestly I think a good chunk of people are just annoyed that win traders for season 8 will get more time.
  16. I'll admit, I get a little pissed when I see this happen and once in a blue moon call them out on it, but the rage doesn't even last a minute. I just chalk it up to someone not knowing what the power ups do which most of the time turns out to be the case.
  17. And I don't blame them. The events that took place before and during the Galactic war between The Sith Empire and The Republic were more interesting to me than introducing a third superior empire for no feasible reason. And to be honest it never felt like Vitiate was 'expanded' on it felt like Valkorion was introduced. During KOTFE and KOTET it never felt like I was interacting with the same character even while ignoring the different voice. You can't tell me that his plan to *SPOILERS To take over the character's body was his endgame in all of this? We already knew he was a body snatcher and for all the hype built around figuring out his goal it was a bit anti climactic. The only class story that I thought fit very well with this was the warrior story, where he picked the sith warrior to be the new wrath specifically to raise him as his new vessel. Some of the others felt out of place, heck the smuggler summed it up nicely in one of his lines; "I don't get where you people are getting this 'I'm the chosen one' stuff, I'm just a guy with a ship." I was almost excited when he left in chapter 12 making me think "OOOHHH the plot thickens!" but it turns out to be a ruse? It sounded very underwhelming and considering you had to cut the story by a THIRD I can see why. What was the point of everything he did in the Jedi Knight's story line? Even his excuse in chapter two "I was different here(Zakuul)" they were still supposed to be the same person and his desires he expressed in the Jedi Knight's story line and what we learned of him in Kotfe and Kotet just don't really click together very well imo. That's why it felt like I was dealing with 2 different characters. And I could have ignored all of that if the original class stories were expanded on more before jumping into this. Like sure as a sith warrior you become the emperor's wrath, and as an inquisitor you become a dark council member, but it never felt like I could actually BE in those roles. Sith warrior was supposed to be the class that resembled Darth Vader but I never worked directly with the emperor or went out and hunt/kill traitors like Scourge, and now that we're talking about the warrior what the heck happened to the Emperor's Hand and what was the whole story about the Opticrons on Rishi?!?! "The Wrath must not know! The Ritual must continue!" Or servant one talking about his/her 'true destiny'? For the inquisitor I never felt like a dark council member, instead I felt like their errand boy it would have meant the world if our character went through as much as one freaking council meeting. The same could be said of the consular. I enjoyed KoTFE/KOTET to an extent, I'm just sad that it is what we got in exchange of all the missed opportunities of the Galactic War that was the original plan of the story, there are even some tidbits from data mining where some of the stories were supposed to continue next.
  18. My thoughts exactly, would be nice to know what specifically they didn't think was up to 'standard'.
  19. Lol or just "Heal to Full"
  20. To be fair, I didn't call out Musco individually at all. I am well aware of the fact that Musco's job as community manager means just that. I specifically made it ambiguous with 'you all' and 'we' as to not implicate any single person. I'm simply looking for the answers to those questions I posted, they don't need to name anybody for that nor am I seeking to pass the blame to a single person.
  21. I think you missed 2 questions Musco 1: Why you all thought RnG as the main way to get gear was a good idea for 5.0 in the first place. and 2: Why are we suddenly backtracking to include previous gearing options even though in previous streams it was said that majority of players supposedly 'loved' the "Thrill of the hunt" ™
  22. Which shouldn't have happened in the first place imo. I don't get any of the cosmetic stuff from that vendor so this doesn't affect me but they decided to make something that was accessible to all pvpers and suddenly now only people who did ranked (of which the populations is TREMENDOUSLY lower) would only be able to get them? When not all pvpers do ranked? On top of that they are making this change within 24 hours of the freaking announcement. Why is it that the consumers instead of the people who are in charge of the game are the only ones who look at something like this and say "Hey! This might be a dumb idea!" I get that they need feedback but for decisions changes like this that are borderline common sense on what they SHOULDN'T do it can be a bit ridiculous.
