Hey SkyCakeLight have you checked out The Repopulation. It has everything in your write up ( which i read ) minus the star wars stuff. As to what i want , wel the same stuff you do, thats whyl i've been a backer of that game thru the kickstarter since 2012 and may or may not be an alpha tester. Why am i here then, well sometimes its fun to PLAY a game, i'll leave it at that.

My advice to you is to seek help from a licensed professional therapist. Seriously ! And not because you derive pleasure from "Adult Films" ( that is assuming these films do not include children or the exploitation, degradation or abuse of women ) Adult films can be quite tastefully done and my belief is that what is done between consenting adults in the privacy of there own home is their business. My concern stems from your post in that you did not mention having any friends whom which you could discuss this, you stated that you " don't really like people " and yet you feel you had " very meaningful relationships " how I must ask is that ( very meaningful relationships ) even possible considering " you don't really like people " and apparently have no friends ? Did any of those relationships begin or end in friendships and if not WHY ? I don't know either your not being very forthright or clear, probably a bit of both as you feel this is too embarrassing to discuss with family ( hence bringing it to total strangers ) and that is why I suggest professional help, someone who will not judge you and will guide you through a healing process. In order for a "feature " to be labeled sandbox it would need to effect the game world and or other players experiences in the game world. Nothing in the CM fits that bill. Housing, customizations, ect. do not necessarily fit that bill, they can, but it isn't required. many time i see people asking for housing, some say its a sandbox feature, but EVE has no player housing its a sandbox and yet Rift has player housing and its a themepark. Featues can be interchanged. As features do not belong to either or like Clapton said "its in the way that you use it " Sandbox n. A computerized player driven game world with little or no restrictions, skill based progression, in an open free to explore gaming environment were each individual player has the power to alter the game world around them in profound and significant ways. Why am i here, Themeparks are fun too but they willl never immerse or challenge me the way a well made sandbox does. Its why i have beeen a backer of The Repopulation for almost 2 years now a blend of SWG, DAoC and believe it or not SWTOR ( shell armor with interchangeable mods ). Are you speaking of The Repopulation ? Its only F2P, with no RNG packs (yeah). Check their site. Be aware though its a Sandbox game.

Blame is easier to give then to recieve, thats why its cast about so freely. I think too many people focus on casting blame rather than finding solutions. In this instance the solution to this is found inside the individual, not the game, but self examination might put you in a place where your uncomfortable, and god forbid you wouldn't want that, not in this PC duchebag world. Interesting to me though is the nomadic nature. I've noticed, and i know i'm not alone, that a majority of humans dislike change, and nomadism is to be in a constant state of flux or change. So i ask myself "why would people put themselves into this state of being ? " The only awnser i have come up with is they still haven't found what their looking for, there are probably more reasons but thats the one i keep coming back to, now is it becouse what their looking for can't be found ( doubtful ) or have they failed to ask themselves "what do I want and how do I go about getting it " if anyting its an interesting conundrum and i can't wait to see how it plays out. BTW there are 2 quotes from songs i borrowed not in quotes thumbs up to the first one to find them and name the bands.

Something to consider though ( at least in my mind ) is the Bioware track record. Initial game $60, 10 months later given away free. RotHC $10, 8 months later free with sub. Smart consumer may wait the next xpac out. just food for thought.as many retail stores are complaing about sales. They've offered so many sales to entice customers to buy, that fewer people shop unless a sale price is offered.

Ok fair enough, you see the op as a "suck up ". But what i don't get is the point in pointing it out. Don't know about you but i deal with "suck ups" each and every day IRL. I know who they are and what they are, but i keep it to myself and play along with them. I'm a backer of the Repopulation as well. I'll be rolling FPS. Although not sure if i roll on the Hardcore server or not yet, still a little if'y on the ruleset for it, but if you see Kinzua Rainmaker in game say hi or kill me or say hi then kill me, don't hesitate cause if your OWNS i will try to kill you.

While i agree that for you or I sub numbers shouldn't even be a concern. Our concerns as players, as far as the numbers go, should be focused on simply, Do i have people on my server to play with. But I have a strong feeling that the Bioware studio probably doesn't see thing the way you or i do / should and i believe they have shown us that over the course of the last several months. Back in what was it august / september they offered RotHC free with a sub. My personal belief was that this was done in order to boost sub numbers, what other reason could it have been, it wasn't / isn't given to free to play or preferred, only with a sub. Also GSF, if you have / had a sub by a certain date ( to lazy to look for it ) you qualified to get into the action BEFORE prefered or F2P. Again an effort to boost sub numbers. I can't think ( off the top of my head ) of any buisness putting effort into something they have no care for , can you ? Now why do i beleieve they put an effort into boosting sub numbers over the fall. I would guess around novemberish they submitted their budget proposal to EA. With the CM doing well ( thumbs up i guess- no problems with an ala carte store but still despise RNG packs ) if sub numbers showed an upward trend their proposal might be found to be a bit more palatable by the EA bean counters, and if subs are low their budget for fiscal year 15 might be a little lower than they wanted which will in turn affect US the player base. Holy crap i guess sub numbers may just matter to us the players and just negated what i said at the top of the post. Oh well i guess even things you may not think matter to you you do matter, you just sometimes don't see how its all intertwined.
