I never really saw the commando and the #1 choice at anything. I played the class because of the versatility. I can cc, throw some spot heals, and dps but I don't need to be the best at any of them. I adapt to what the group needs and we roll.

Great post. I wouldn't play another class besides BH and Trooper. I love the DoT spec on both classes.

I like a challenge. I think that the lack of a challenge is what makes a game boring, not the overpowered "fun" that many people seem to want. I think some things in video games needs to be make-your-eyes-bleed difficult (not a dps race, per se) but truly challenging. If you want to do the fun stuff, so be it. But this game and WoW are a bit ridiculous.

I had to quit playing my jedi because I could not stand the big butt look. I might try putting some modded out trooper armor on him but right now.....he's on the shelf.

Only 27 now, but I like the pyro tree a whole lot better. The heat management is a little bit of an issue but when the DoTs are burning it is a lot of fun to watch the enemy health bars dropping. PvP is good if you are on a good team. You are not a lone wolf as a pyro merc. I like to watch the battle and throw those DoTs around on battles that are going our way....puts more pressure on the other side's healers. If you catch a group standing, drop a AOE on them.

Honestly, I don't feel this way at all. I am, however, taking my time and switching between my BH and my trooper (depending on queue times - they are on different servers). I get jazzed up when that Star Wars music kicks in and I know that I am about to be in the Star Wars universe. I tried SWG but I was too late and it was a ghostland. This is my first chance to play in a universe I love. Is the game complete? Nope. I hope that given 5-6 years it will grow into something truly magnificent. I love it for what it is now. Good luck, OP. I hope you find something that truly blows your doors off.

Most of the creatures on savrip island are able to be analyzed. I think I got my bio up to about 65 before I left the heroics island. That was running through twice.
