  1. Well, to get some items you do have to wait months to get the CC to purchase items that should be free or deeply deeply discounted.
  2. I am wondering if BW has ever thought of adding another subscription level, that of "Super Subscriber." It can be a title as well. This subscriber would actually get the stuff in game that was promised for free, no cartel coins, no waiting months for CC stipend, just free for their own account.
  3. Until BW actually releases details about how to make Subscribers access all the game content for free like they promised at the get go, I will not believe a thing they "promise to look at this because we heard you loud and clear." This should be a priority, not an afterthought in a weekly meeting.
  4. I disagree with OP, no more grinding for something that should be free to subscribers.
  5. I will only believe BW when something actually happens, not a promise one day to respond to all subscribers being ripped off for being charged for basic cosmetic changes.
  6. The new cosmetic updates are wonderful, and the kind of extra updates that make me love this game. But, when I am charged constantly to have basic changes done to my characters as a Subscriber it pisses me off plain and simple. I don't believe future promises of "we hear you loud and clear and are working on something exciting for subscribers." I believe actual changes. All of that stuff just added in 2.1 should be free to Subscribers, period. Right now we have just one tier of player, those that pay extra for just about everything that should be basic. Solution - cosmetic changes are free to subscribers period!
  7. I will not be there at all. I bought the expansion but not allowed to play it until the full release. So, I can't play the game for a week or more, whenever it comes out for the whole public.
  8. /signed NO. It would create way longer que times.
  9. The problem is the lack of rewards for doing well in a losing WZ. Just join a winning team is the way to get comms now. You have created a beat the system type of game play and not beat the player.
  10. It is not that they don't give a ****. They want us to have fun to tell others about it and to sell subs. I believe it is a disconnect with the design and goal of pvp. They need to have a few meetings to figure out what went wrong with this patch.
  11. Glad you are not working for BW. The problem is not with those that leave but with BW that makes leaving a good option. Make staying and playing even while losing a good option by having reasonable rewards for doing so.
  12. Yeah, like the Ilum exploit/cheat on my server where imps got way ahead, they get way ahead now too...so in 4 months I can start to play them toe to toe again? yeah, lots of fun for sure. Just que to a winning team, keep joining and leaving to beat the system.
  13. I think people need to actually try pvp now instread of thinking of the way it use to be. You can be a great player and get 10 medals and lose and get virtually nothing, or the reward is so distant that it is not motivating. That is not fun, therefore don't play it. Play the system to get onto a winning team is much easier way of getting gear and rewards.
  14. Because for some unknown reason that is excatly how BW wants it to be. And from the lack of discussion from them, it is clear they believe it to be RIGHT. So, our options are to suck it up like fanbois and love it, or leave it and not play pvp. I choose the 2nd and leave PVP to the fanbois.
  15. It is not always up to a single person to make the team win. Maybe BW needs to make PVP about killing players and getting rewards and not working the system.
  16. An even easier way to get the medals is join a winning team and keep leaving and joining until you find one. So much easier on a winning team then on a losing team.
  17. The problem that BW has created is not that you can't get 4 medals, it is the fact that I spend 15 minutes in a match and get those 4 medals and I have no tangable reward for those 4 medals. It does not matter if I lose 6/5 in hutt ball or 6/0. Why stay if it does not matter and there is no reason to play in a loss?
  18. Great OP!!! I would summarize it along the line of this, of course the amount of the rewards would be tweaked, but just an example: As you read the posts in here one thing is very clear. People are upset that the PVP game has turned into beat the system rather than the player. As an example: My goal is to get gear. I need comms for gear. If I play a WZ and I lose spending 15 minutes doing so, I can't achieve my goal within a reasonable amount of time. Therefore, I will leave the WZ and try and find one that is winning so I can get comms so I can get my gear. So, I join and leave, join and leave, join and leave to earn my reward. Notice anything horrific about this? People are trying to find a way to work the system and beat it, and emphasis is no longer on the game play or beating other players. This is a design problem that BW has created. Solution: You could enforce a leaving penalty, which in the end hurts people who dc and will simply take the more causal player out of pvp altogher and make longer que times. Or, you could balance the rewards along the line of something like this: 1. A set number of credits/comms/xp/valor per medal. (500/20/1000/300) 2. A set number of credits/comms/xp/valor for an mvp vote. (1000/50/1000/1000) 3. A set number of credits/comms/xp/valor for a win and a loss. (1000/50/2000/500) - (250/30/500/500) Make these numbers clear and expected so that I understand the risk and reward of winning or losing a match. Right now there is no incentive to stay in a losing match and you try and beat the system to get a winning match... That is it. If people knew the system took care of it self and gave you the reasonable opportunity to earn gear, then the game would focus again on beating the player. Of coure we would not solve the issues of geared players vs ungeared players or people complaining about op and nerfed classes, but at least we would be talking about the player and not the system.
  19. Except you would qq when the que times are much longer since people like me will join and still leave and say so what to the debuff, I will just pve some dailies. Or, I will not que at all. Debuff = longer que times.
  20. Quiting a WZ is the design benefit BW gave us to get out of a horrible losing match that does not reward good playing.

  22. I am thinking of the person that might follow me, hope they are as ticked as I am and others and come to the forums and complain until this is fixed. Spread the great things BW has done to others to experience. Only through the complaints will they learn not to do something like this without testing it first.

    Dropping Group?

A "harsh quitter edbuff" is not the answer. I will quit when the team is a total lost so I don't waste anymore time in a wz that does not offer anytype of reasonable compensation for playing. A hard debuff will only mean less and less players and longer and longer que times. The key to fixing the problem is looking at you right in the face. Make the rewards to staying very appealable to the losing player, so a premade can continue to roll on a team of pugs/solo's. Make it worth our while. To create a penalty, I will join 1 wz and if I am losing I will quit it and play something else ingame. Hardly hurting me at all. It hurts those that want to play pvp and how have to wait longer.
  24. Correct: BW has created a game (pvp) that is not fun now and I will not play it. If they put the time into pvp that they have with pve, the game would rock.
