  1. Seems like it was down for a couple hours a few months ago. Even so, that's not bad.
  2. It died in the middle of a cutscene for the new expansion. Hoping I didn't miss out on the rest of it. Don't mind playing the scene over, but I just don't want to miss anything.
  3. Yep, same issue here, and I've seen a few other posts about it too. I call mine the "Mystery glob of glitchiness" Logged a support ticket Sunday night. Haven't heard back. We'll see what happens.
  4. That's exactly what I think. In AotC he couldn't act. I think he must've taken lessons before RotS though because he was doing better (not great, but better) in the last film. But, no, in AotC, Hayden couldn't act.
  5. Not so sure about Katie taking over. Both Katie and Jett are employed at Lucasfilm to my knowledge, but George put long-time Spielberg associate Kathleen Kennedy in the driver's seat as co-chairman back in June with the intention of her taking over completely when he either retires or dies. It's actually Lucasfilm that owns the Star Wars brand, it's plastered all over the terms and conditions pages on their websites. George Lucas as a person would only have copyright on the stuff he wrote personally, unless he turned over control of them to Lucasfilm as well, which he likely did. So, unless there's something really wacky in his will about disbanding Lucasfilm or something (and to my mind such an unusual stipulation would be easily challenged in court), as long as Star Wars keeps making them money, Lucasfilm will keep churning out new material for it.
  6. Probably the scene in AotC when Anakin is whining to Padme about how overly critical Obi-Wan is and how he doesn't understand. Only because the delivery was horrible. It screamed 'high school play' like nothing else can. That's one of the big reasons AotC is in the #6 position of my ranking of the six films. The awesome battle at the end just couldn't make up for it.
  7. Yes, I HAVE read the book, and that paragraph on Wookieepedia isn't written as well as it could be. Here's how it goes: So that gets the book out of the way. As for her fate in general, it was interesting to hear from Dave Filoni that she was going to feature alot in Season 5. Where she ends up at the end, I couldn't say. I'm part of the camp that wants her to live in one form or another but if she has to die, at least make it some kind of heroic sacrifice.
  8. Definitely good to see what all the various options were for connecting two characters. I knew three of them but wasn't sure about the last two. Adopted child. That's interesting. Though it certainly accounts for how a pureblood could have a Twi'lek daughter or something messed up like that. Overall I think I'm looking forward to this. I've already got a general idea in mind for how my characters will link together and this system should allow for it exactly as I pictured it. I just have the one 50, but I've got another who's close, then I can bring up the rest, one at a time, at my pleasure. Obviously I won't pass total judgement until I actually experience it. There are plenty of things out there where you can just tell if you'll like it or not without actually trying it, but this is certainly not one of those things. So far, though, I like what I see.
  9. I only said for a 13 year old film it didn't do that bad. I don't personally care to see it in 3D, myself, it'd be a waste of my money. Why the hate?
  10. Why on earth would anyone have expected it to make blockbuster level money? It's a 13 year old film. It's already made it's budget back in spades. So a mediocre showing 13 years after it's release isn't that bad. Now, what I'd like to know is how much it cost them to do the 3D conversion on it, and then stack that against the gross and see how much of this is actually profit, or if they lost money.
  11. I don't think I will be. I have the complete saga on blu-ray and a 46" tv to watch it on so if I want to enjoy Ep1 (and I DID enjoy it) then I'll just watch it at home. I've decided I'm at least going to see Ep4 when it comes out in a few years, only because I'm curious to see how a 38 year old movie will look in 3D. Still undecided on ESB or ROTJ.
  12. It's good that BW is providing options for everyone to customize the look of ther cooldowns. I think this will be a good improvement for the game. I myself much preferred the most recent change with the flashes and brighter colors, as did my husband. Of course I understand many weren't happy, and some were apparently being made sick, and that's not a good thing. In this way, everyone can have what they want, even if they find other things to complain about. Good job!
  13. Oh absolutely, if there's a health concern. I was just saying I liked it but I agree people should have options.
  14. Actually, I prefer this version to the old version. However since many seem to disagree with me, then my vote would be a way to switch between the two depending on personal preference. I think that would work for most people.
