  1. So I started thinking about this more, and might have figured out the problem. I think Blood Mark is a continual cast, not a single cast. Pilgrim casts shield, and shortly after dog casts Blood Mark..... but I think dog continually casts blood mark, or pulses blood mark, until the shield drops off of Pilgrim. This would explain why ranged would get blood mark after rushing back in from 50m, because it was before the shield dropped off the Pilgrim. That's the only explanation I can think of.
  2. We did exactly that. We had 2 ranged DPS run out 50m, blood mark applied to healer and a tank, came back in, and still got the blood mark. Our problem is that 100% of the DPS gets blood mark, continually, even after we get Pilgrim down to 7%. Our initial hit on the dog before the first blood mark gets him down to 45%, and then we can't hit the dog again..... ever..... because of the continual blood mark. Even hitting /stuck and returning to fight AFTER blood mark is applied.... and we still get it.
  3. I'm calling shenanigans on people downing him with 8 man group. We tried this tonight and were WAY ahead on DPS, with tanking and heals being easy........ but consistently all DPS got Blood Mark after the first cast and it never dropped. We consistently burned Pilgrim down to 7%, but Blood Mark always immediately reapplied to all DPS and all we could do was wait around for the enrage timer to hit. We even tried /stuck and running back, but as soon as the DPS came in, Blood Mark was re-applied again.
  4. I can vouch for these two guys. They have been great guild members for close to a year now, but unfortunately we just haven't been able to get a CST raid group going. We've run on raids together in the past a few times and they will definitely be an asset for your guild. Good luck guys!
  5. Hey folks, ASBESTOS here.... With the resurgence of player base and 2.0, we are looking to flesh out our raid group to a 16 man ASAP. Tues/Thurs/Sun, as listed above. Also, we have quite a few lowbies leveling these days, as well as plenty of 55s to help you along the way. Remember, being in SoCal is an extra bonus as parties and beer are inevitable. Look up Randor, Nit, Jadyn, Zopharr, Tradewind, or Lunaa. Website is asbestos.enjin.com
  6. I second this. With the addition of dailies on virtually every single planet, an expansion of the missions log is a must. Many of the planet dailies overlap as well, meaning you're guaranteed to pick them all up.
  7. Hello my fellow SWTORians! I'm an easy guy to please, but with the ever-increasing number of items in this game, this change seems to be a necessity. I would like to see another personal inventory tab for social items such as cartel market items (glow eyes, banners, etc), disco balls, jukebox droids, etc. I've already purchased my maximum inventory slots on my main character, and at any given time, up to half my inventory is full of stuff that helps to make this game fun. I mean, slapping down a disco ball after finishing an op is the only way to celebrate, right? Unfortunately, these items currently squeeze the remainder of the inventory down to an almost unusable level, which is why I would like to see the above implemented. Also, as we all know, our 'mission items' tab could be re-purposed, as it doesn't exactly get used to its fullest capabilities. What do the rest of you think?
  8. Mostly;) Lost a chunk to WoW again, but the die hards are still around. This game is in SERIOUS need of melons though.
  9. Sup folks! So, you've seen a billion recruit posts by now, sifting through leetspeak jargon until your eyeballs explode, trying to decide which uber guild is going to give you OMGHAX status you've been yearning for. That's not us. ASBESTOS has been around since Galaxies, so you already know we're all ancient. We're a casual guild in practice (read: we don't take anything seriously. Ever.) but we do have structure when it comes to raiding because, well, if you don't you won't get anywhere. We're currently made up mainly of SoCal residents, which leads to my next topic: We like to party. A lot. We all decided to meet up IRL in galaxies way back when, and the rest is history. It adds another dimension of fun when you can raid an op, then go out for beers after and revel in your victory. It's good times, good food, and good beer. Onto the particulars: We raid Tues/Thurs/Sun 7:30pm to 10pm PST, and that's about it. Being in PST is pretty important, as the times rarely ever change. We have a website, raid signups, yadda yadda yadda, all that jazz. All that said, we're starting up another 8 man group during that timeslot, for guys that aren't geared enough for HM TFB or NiM EC. While the OPs groups are a step above casual status, we're by no means hardcore so don't be scared off by touting noob status. If you're willing to learn, we're willing to help you. So there you go. If this sounds like something you would dig, message me here or Randor/Nit/Jadyn/zopharr/Tradewind in game, or on the website at asbestos.enjin.com
