  1. Man the devs must hate crafters. XD No need for them. Just grab an orange item. Mod? Commendation vendors. gg I'd imagine consumables is the only real worthwhile crafting to go with.
  2. I'm curious what the benefit of ever getting a new orange item if you can just increase it's level by putting in a higher primary component.
  3. Isn't that an issue, if the only viable crafting is only level 50?
  4. I very well could be looking at this the wrong way. In theory wouldn't the economy be a disaster in the game's current state? I'll take armstech for an example. 1. You make and make and make gear and put it on the market place. Problem: There are so many options from NPC weapon vendors and Commendation vendors. People have so much options in their plate that they don't even bother to go to the market for a "need" to upgrade outside of quests and flashpoints, they just go to one of many vendors available...especially purple/orange gear from commendation vendors. To test this, I made a mastercrafted purple item for a level 17 and put it on the market place for SUPER LOW (like 300 credits). Wasn't even touched. 2. Orange leveling items. If people have items, especially for crafters that can only make 1 or 2 things (armstechs...only weapons and gun barrels while armortechs can make a lot of different armor slot kinds) means that people will not bother to ever buy anything else outside of modifications....which again people will normally just buy from a vendor and ignore the marketplace. Are crafters getting screwed in this game? It seems only biochem and cybertech would be anything worthwhile.
  5. I know you can for greens and blues, but can you get recipes for reverse engineering purples?
  6. Thanks guys! I figured it was outdated beta info.
  7. I'm looking at guides for Armstech and it seems they all say different things. Some say you want scavenging and teasurehunting, some say you want investigation and not treasurehunting, and so on. What's the deal deal with Armstech?
  8. I'm a good guy at heart, but all my friends are apparently evil sonsof...well anyway, so I'm going Imperial to play with them. I've ALWAYS gone a healer, but I want to try something new so I'm going mercenary (BH) so I can DPS but if I ever feel like a change, I can switch to healing. Anyway, I'm choosing alignment decisions based on what makes sense for my guy. That tends to get me a lot of light side choices (why bother killing all these people?), but when it comes down to my contract, I fulfill it as that's the whole purpose of being a BH. In the end, it's just causing me to have a mix of light and dark. If I go all light, then I'm some pansy BH who always gets talked out of a kill. How does the gear system handle light/dark then? It looks like neutrals are penalized, and as I'm Imperial, the game "expects" me to play evil as it seems most of the gear so far is all Dark. In order to "compete" in the gear game, I'm going to be forced to always select dark or always select light? My issue is I'm a good guy so I naturally want to do light side..but I'm a bounty hunter so the kills go against those light decisions. I'm just getting stuck in neutral land. If I choose to go all dark, then I'm hating myself Should I just bite the bullet and play by the "rules" and choose all dark? I'm curious how being light or dark will affect my character's future. I'm at 300 light and 400 dark right now which puts me at -100 after a whole day of playing. That's 1 or 2 decisions...like I just started playing.
