Weird one for us today, Lightning spires randomly dropping on main tank on firebrand. No forewarning either. Plus the yellow pillar was landing both sides of raid. Not sure if this is a bug or I missed something. Were running 8 man story -

Personally I was wondering about how effective the hybrid lethality/healing build is for the tac advantage procs from kolto probes. yes you lose some top talents but I'm wondering if the oncreased amount of Cull's would make up for it

Kinda Like that idea. I run Ops as Anni, so usually I'll just battering assault -> smash and alternate sweeping slash/normal hits. Tesco Marauder, every little helps Unless it's a mix of strong/elites like before Pylon then I'll just focus down the golds

This. Kinda I ran my first Ops today with guild, frankly I found the loot mechanics shocking and incredibly frustrating. As far as I'm concerned I want to prio Tanks and healers and then up DPS on loot drops. I can't do that, we had two Sith warrior pieces drop only a Jug and Mara (me) in group and I got both of them, I already HAVE these items, why in the name of all thats unholy do I need more? Those items could have as easily gone to my Juggernaught who would have found them an upgrade.

Sorry but I couldn't disagree more. I'm an old man, with poor eyesight, couldn't care less about a DPS meter although a combat parser of some description would be useful for the theory crafting, maybe logs I could then access out of game. I would however give my right arm/leg/other for a threat meter and some kind of power aura ability where I can see when I've procced something without squinting. Anni marauders have many things to keep track of, have a little consideration for the older and slower among you.

We had that as well, we used exit area but tank didn;t notice, when he was alone there HK spawned so we came back in. Problem we had was that we'd break HK's stealth and he'd just restealth again couldn't stop the 1 shot, that could have been related to the awful lag last night though Exactly the same with the BH ship as well -

Was in a Warzone last night and was attacking a healer for a good 4-5 minutes. Couldn't kill him for squat he had full pvp gear on never got him below half health but he wasn't healing anyone else that was for sure. The other non pvp gear 50 I attacked went down like a sack.

I'd take my trolling hat off to you, but apparantly you're serious., oh well, here goes nothing.... Will comparing it to my level 50 tankasin help? Which is basically what you're doing just from the opposite angle. Congrats I'm not even sure anybody knows what your point of contention short of just being contentious, I mean you're a BH complainging about marauders, we get that I think you forgot to carry the one on your maths. You seem to be under the impression that theres an issue with Marauder because it consistently fails to deliver on dps. In which case you're almost certainly "doing it wrong". Heres the why: Continuing on with comparison to my assassin, the DPS has been consistently higher, playing anni spec it's also more consistent over a long period of time. I'll be the first to admit I don't enjoy the mechanics of Sin quite so much, but it's got a good solid set of hits and some excellent escape/cc moves. It also requires less skill to play effectively. Fact. Why? Because stealth provides you with a no brainer fight or flight mechanic., you can pick and choose your fights at will. It also excels in "SURPRISE! SITH!" Does this make Mara gimped as a comparison. Of course it doesn't You can still pick and choose, but your fight and flight are more severely limited. Hence the whole host of "oh crap" buttons. Does Mara need a buff? I'd like to see a slight one. but I'm firmly of the opinion that it's general overall tweaks needed, and thats to everything. Also theres no need to be deliberately insulting but if you want to bring it down to that level I'm more than willing to party. But seeing as you can't even carry a normal conversation I'd be fighting an unarmed opponent O.k, I've thought long and hard about this. Yes there is minimal stuns. but theres a ton of Snare, which btw aren;t affected by the resolve. Rupture can be talented to slow, Ravage can be talented to immobilize, choke can stun, deadly throw can slow, we can slow with a saber strike and we can leap. Maybe you're just arguing for us to be overpowered. too far over the other end. Gods help us all if you were a developer. Well there is no distinction, not for you anyway, personally I think you're the former. But being objective I treat everyone as the latter. Sadly I just don't think it's the class for you. You appear better suited to maybe something club waving that sits under bridges and molests passing goats. The fact of the matter is theres a clear disparity between those who say "Mara sucks and those who say "It's fyne l2p". THen there are very very helpful people like Kiba who for some unknown reason waste their time trying to show you where you're going wrong. To which they get snarky posts like yours like you're some kind of MMO expert because all your posts are truth and we're merely neknighted incorrect fools. You should do a course on making friends and influencing people. Au Revoir PS: Please give me something better to work with next time. I have no further time to stooping to your level if you can't even back this stuff up. ALl I need to do is point to the sticky at the top.

Again I'm kinda blown away by the whole *** for tat crap vs class argument. The class requires though to play, it's not always awesome no, but then every class has it's flaws. I've been playing Carnage of late huge fun, but every now and then I'll be facemelted by a strong mob. Usually because I screwed up though. but outthreating your lvl 50 tank in boarding party at lvl 34 is magic ^^ Anni is amazing for pvp and still my fave spec although I haven't tried rage. Just dotting the crap out of everyone and hitting rage in a scrum is win. Don't make a marauder? I'm making this thing my main.......

Indeed, Charge can get you out of trouble as easily as into it if you use it right. Plus it's win for Huttball, I'll use an enemy to jump up/down a level for a well timed pass away from the scrum. (ooer missus)

I found as I got higher levels things get more time to tick bleeds. Marauder also appears to be very gear dependant, so I seem to spend more of my commendations on armouring/.enhancement/mod/hilt upgrades to keep myself ahead of the game. when those slip behind I start to notice the difference. By the same token the damage output is immense if you're even only slightly ahead of the levels for the area. So that can be a factor too, I'm 32 and still only halfway through Alderaan. Theres also the boss side of things. Those bleeds really matter versus the boss/story fights

So I'm levelling a Marauder lvl 31 atm and don't seem to be dieing like a baws. What am I doing wrong? Seriously guys, Situational Awareness + using your cooldowns right 4tw. I ain't a pro by a long stretch, just some SWG nerd, but I fail to see how many people can be having such an issue.
