  1. Dunno if it's been mentioned yet, too many pages too little time, but the three boss stack in Southern Dromund Kass (in the heroic area by a datacron) that drops the orange pistol among other things now only drops about 100-200 credits and little more.

    Cheat detection

What does Bioware use to find the cheaters? Client side hacks are easy enough to find if you have ever heard of Google, hopefully the devs know this and take steps to counter what's out there and incredibly easy to find. I've played against people I've suspected of speed hacking but reporting them would probably be pointless and or maybe they're just that good. I'm squishy I die fast it happens. But last night was something entirely different. I play on a medium pop server. Over time I've learned the names of what I consider good opposing faction players and know that I'm in for a challenge and likely a loss when I see em especially when they're running premades. I'm ok with that. Last night I queue a little past prime time and pop into Civil war. People in my group were all names I recognized and know to be at least BM geared and good players. The Pub team immediately 3 capped and easily held out the nodes for the remainder of the match. They moved faster than they should be able and fended off attackers in groups of 4-5 while defending with 2 before reinforcements could arrive and they arrived as if they all had force speed. Everyone one of them sported WH titles and everyone of them were players I've never seen before. Next match was a Huttball. Same 8 players on their team and my team was pretty much the same. in fact it was slight upgrade. A well known leet player was on our team. They scored 6 points in under 3 minutes. Not through positioning and passing but rather they simply ran through the hazards and took no damage. Again faster than they should have been able to move and even though 5-6 of us stayed on the goal line to defend it made no difference since they were seemingly unaffected by stun/cc/focus fire etc. Through both matches they had a total of 6 deaths. On a few occasions through these 2 matches I witnessed 2-3 of us focus firing on a target that took little to no damage. I've haven't seen anything like this since WZs were 1-50 and BMs could beat up level 20's. In hindsight I wish I would have screencapped the results board as proof but at the time i really couldn't believe what was happening.
  3. fun practice XP credits save up coms so you can buy a BM piece valor load up on pvp consumables for later use Off the top of my head.
  4. On Juyo Pub premades are a common site and they roflstomp Imp pugs all day long. One thing I'm noticing a lot now is fresh 50's with no pvp gear at all queueing up and completely killing our chances of a win.
  5. I'm using the spec and rotation specified in the OP but I'm never coming anywhere close to the damage posted. I occasionally break 200k but it's usually in the high 100k area. Have full champ stalker gear and the 3 red matrix cube. Is it because I didn't go biochem that I'm not getting these super high numbers? I consistantly do well enough in PvP but I'd like to get over the hump as it were and put up some ridiculously high damage.
  6. lol, wow. Some people.
  7. MMO player: OMG PLZ PLZ fix this little tiny thing OMG Dev: Done and done. Finished before lunch time. MMO player: OMG this is the kinda thing your billion dollar team focuses on OMG RAGE QUIT!. /facepalm.
  8. I think I've been on one winning team out my last 20 attempts at solo queuing. 50's in my guild are either MIA or lvl'ing alts. It's getting close to impossible to get a win in a pug. My dailies are more like weeklies and weeklies are closer to monthlies. No problem at all to get the Ilum quests done on my server tho. You just gotta know when the best times are to get over there.
  9. I can name an imp player on juyo that I see in a lot of WZ's and he always bails at the first sign defeat. Always. Other team scores 1st, he drops. Other team caps 2 turrets, he drops. Other team plants the bomb successfully, he drops. That's the reason I support penalizing quitters. I never bail. If nothing else I stay for the coms/valor. I have had the game freeze up and the occasional disconnects forcing me out. But I'll happily live with the debuffs if it means quitters get penalized.
  10. Iroth sounds familiar to me too. I was Modda Fingah. Formally in PmZ, CiC, and briefly KTD
  11. Oddly enough, some of us have never played WoW and have no idea what this means.

Wonder if this implies that the 20 I'm currently sitting on will multiply?
  13. The Republic puts up a damn good fight on Juyo everyday. Ilum rocks on that server.
  14. There really is no facepalm pic to address this thread.
  15. Dunno if this has been discussed here since I usually only read Gen Disc. and the PvP forums. The amount of QQ threads must be overwhelming to any Dev trying to actually find legitimate discussion. Anyway, I'm on a fairly well populated server but even then every trip to Ilum is the same. Travel to center, drive around in a relatively small circle and compete with other Imps for crates and hope some Reps will pop in and make things exciting. Maybe cruise over and flip a base just to break the monotony. My suggestion is to make the crate spawn across the entire area. Let's say there would be (just pulling an arbitrary number out of my butt) 60 total spots. but only 35-40 would be up at any given time. Meaning, you find a crate near your base but it might spawn 5 minutes after you loot or not for 1/2 hour. This to eliminate people from camping any certain point. I totally understand the Rep's frustration with Ilum's PvP imbalance. Who wants to wander into an area to do your daily when know you're going to get ganked. I think would encourage people to travel around in smaller groups and would certainly increase the tension of trying to loot solo, since now you would have reason to look over your shoulder all the time. When I'm cruising center I'm now worried about much, since I know there 10-15 other Imps in my immediate vicinity. It would also help with the ultra-lag everyone seems to get when 2 groups of 16+ are in the area actually having a good time for a few minutes.
  16. I'd like to see the crate spawn spread out across the zone. People could get their dailies done a little quicker. Random encounters with other players would be a lot more fun. As it is all there is to do is drive around in small circles competing with other imp to farm crates and hoping a group of Reps comes in to make things exciting. Which doesn't happen often even on a decently popped server.
  17. Good. Got into LOTRO after SWG went to crap. On Juyo server here. Love this game. If you're on Juyo look me up. Empire side, Ghostchili.
  18. Well, I'll be. I was in your guild on Bria. CiC I think. Modda Finguh
