  1. If I die once I have a 25k repair bill. My character is sitting on a good 4 million credits, and I don't even do dailys. The repair bills are nothing, but the lack of money from bosses, that's something to complain about
  2. I'll let you guys run with this, but at least wanted to get the discussion going. I'm sure there are plenty of threads out there regarding this, but I love adding fuel to fire. So the title says it all, there are way to many abilities, especially for the Knight/Warrior classes. Consulars and Inquisitor dot mangement is just plain stupid, it would be nice if one of our abilities reset the duration on at least one of them. I can't really comment on Smuggler/Agent and Trooper/Bounty Hunter since I've no desire to play them.
  3. Why does everyone compare everything to WoW, like it was the first MMO?
  4. 4 boxing? As in wasting $59.96 a month on this? Which will eventually turn into $719.52 if you play this for a year. $3,597.60 over 5 years? You're out of your damn mind.
  5. I'm a Balance sage in full Rakata Force-Master, while Nadia's in Columi/Rakata Stalker gear, and Iresso is in similar gear. I would like to have a Jedi Guardian companion, but for some reason Bioware felt the need to give us an idiotic overgrown lizard, who for some reason calls me herald, when I'm a DAMN Jedi, and only talks about his stupid scorekeeper and his damned points. God I wish you could jettison companions and blow them to bits.
  6. As a PvE raiding Sage, Balance spec, I have Nadia decked out in Columi/Rakata gear. Every now and then I'll bust out Iresso, who is similarly geared, for certain things, but it's very rare. I'd much rather have a Jedi Guardian as a companion, would make more sense to me, rather than a giant lizard. Bioware did some extra fail when it came to Consular companions. In all honesty, why don't Guardians have a Scoundrel? Wasn't Harrison Ford classified as a Scoundrel in the movie? Haven't seen the movies in a good 20 years, but I could have sworn he walked around shooting people with a pistol, not bandaging people up like Doc.
  7. Qyzen is the dumbest, most useless, random overgrown lizard I've ever seen. His story is relatively stupid, and if he doesn't shut up about his stupid points I'm going to eject him AND C2-N2 in the escape pod and shoot it down with a torpedo. Rather they have just given us a Jedi Guardian as a companion, WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE MORE SENSE!
  8. Once you start raiding, all crafting, minus Biochem, is a complete and utter waste. Sure you can craft some Rakata gear (bracers, belt) that have a silly augment slot in it. Go ahead, waste the mats/credits trying to get it, unless you're lucky enough to get it on your first try. Next month they'll be releasing new content, with new gear, which makes all those credits and mats you wasted null and void. Most of the items you craft from recipes that drop in ops are BoP, except the ear pieces, and implants (could be mistaken here). Everything is 136, and even if you crit the Synthweave gear and augment it, it's still not as good as the already bad Rakata gear. Simply put. The crafting is bad, the stats on raid gear is bad, the lack of customization is bad, the fact you can't pull out armorings is bad, and the lack of level 56? mods/enhancements to put into your existing Rakata gear is bad. The stupid cars that drop off Soa/Karagga are to large, and if they don't fix Nightmare Bonethrasher in the next patch I'm going to go ape ****, then quit. The end.
  9. My main issue with Sages is that the 31 point talents are subpar. The current high dps spec is hybrid, which for me is a huge issue, not to mention the Balance tree is supposed to be our PvP spec. I prefer, and would really love to enjoy Telekinetics, but the fact that I'm in a very competitive raiding guild, I have to play the spec that churns out the highest dps, not the spec that I enjoy. Another issue is the gear, and the lack of total customization that's allowed. I know that Rakata level armorings drop off some bosses randomly, which is great, but Rakata Sage gear looks ridiculous. I look like a massive white church fan. I would LOVE to extract all my mods and put them into some of the orange gear, which is largely a pain in the *** due to the fact that you have to grind Esseles for social (and imo, Social is a huge failure and an unecessary grind). The problem with this is, you get stuck with 22-23 armorings, with Rakata level enhancements and mods for the most part, which in the end drops your overall stats. Speaking of the armorings/enhancements/mods, there's WAY to much alacrity on our gear. We need power/crit/surge, alacrity is worthless. If I had the time on my hands, I would sit around and grind PvP gear then swap those mods (all 3 of them) into orange gear, but I don't have that type of free time, nor do I want to.
  10. I'm personally sticking to the 3/31/7 build, simply because the weird hybrid build is a pain when raiding with multiple sages. The dot management alone is a massive headache without mods that either just show your dots, or some sort of timer. The DPS might not be the best in the world, but I can at least manage myself better without having to look at the itty bitty status icons, and trying to figure out what dot belongs to who.
  11. I haven't PvPed in awhile, since the gear gap has gotten a bit wider, but when I did I usually hid in obscure areas. Usually finding a nice perch, or some random nook in the corner did the trick. Every now and then someone might find me, but thankfully my team would generally realize that keeping the healer alive is benefitial for everyone, so whomever attacked me would die first. Other than that, if you can make some sort of hybrid healing spec where you can get instant force lift, that's really the only thing I can think of to increase your survivability, side of the obvious stuff.

  13. Project is not viable for DPS, at all. If you focus into Balance, yes you'll be throwing pebbles at people a majority of the time unfortunately. If you were throwing pebbles at Zeus, and Zeus decided that you were getting annoying and struck you with lightning, who is going to die first? Pretty sure Zeus wins.
  14. I'm by no means a Star Wars fan, I can't even name any of the characters side of Luke and Vader, but I did grow up with them and do think they're quality movies. That aside, I do think this games story is lackluster for certain classes, such as the Consular. The Jedi Knight, Inquisitor, Marauder, Imperial Agent, and Trooper have overall good stories, but NOTHING tops the first 2 I listed. It seems like they just took a bunch of random scraps of paper with ideas on them, crumbled them up, and threw them against the wall for the other classes, and some worked, others fell through a REALLY big crack.
