On my more recent characters i have finished their class stories on... i totally skipped right over entire planets. In fact i have gotten at least 4 characters to finish their class missions without doing a single planetary mission on Corellia. The ONLY character i did anything on Corellia for was my Sniper. And that was 6-8 months ago. The same with Illium, i may have completed that very short planet once, maybe twice. Never again. So with all that said... i can totally see many players skipping the entire planet of Makeb and leveling to 55 via flashpoints, pvp or some other method.

The force is... actually pretty weak with this one.

I think you may have gotten your names wrong, on Torhead, the set you refer to is the armour most suited to a Bounty Hunter, with huge jet pack on the back. I know this because my own Bounty Hunter has a similar armour chest piece. As for the Stormtrooper and Clonetrooper armour - yeah those are fine as they dont so much have a box on the back, but a small raised area for what i assume are extra equipment and maybe battery packs for the armour itself. I am currently using the RD-17A Phalanx Jacket from the GTN. I am not completely happy with it, but it will do for the time being until i find something more fitting. I have no idea what the ''butt flap'' is for as i cant find a suitable point to it. The pack on the back is small enough, the shoulders are pretty awesome - but the chest plate (for female) looks a bit odd.

I know this is off topic, but i play equal male and female characters. Both genders for each class. One gender for each advanced class. My current class i am leveling, is a female Vanguard. Last week, i finished leveling my male Mercenary. The week before that, my female Sith Marauder. And even further back I created my male Commando and Operative leveled them up to their second planets.

I would like there to be OPTIONS. Yes, options. If you want a ''space'' bikini - it should be available. IF you dont, then dont use it if they provide it. And if you want your belly showing, but everything else covered - that should be available too. This game severely lacks fashion options. But that is only because its a year old, in a year or two worth of time, the options available between full on (or off in this case) bikini showing only little triangles, to a thin line around the belly, will most likely be quite vast in comparison to right now.

Because no self respecting male would want that.

I have had him for 6 months. He is a throw away character. I have not wasted gear on him. I have heard players doing well with a well geared Xalek though that is third hand info so take it as it is.

If my intent was - in your own words - "hit on the middle-man". It is not. It is to spread the truth of things to as many people as possible. This is not the only forum I visit FYI.

Only unlock and use the HK on your starter planet. Beyond that he is completely worthless as his lack of gear is severely punishing. I actually unlocked him by mistake on a 20 something Vanguard. BIG mistake as he is completely naked. No benefit from gear and he lasts less time than it takes to bubble-hearth. Only once you and therefore him becomes 50 does his gear "unlock" and become useful. Huge oversight on the companion.

Does not make it any easier to make. I have completed the entire Empire story - all 4 class stories and have not come across anything like this. Sure I can save or kill many npcs. But as an imperial your all but expect to kill them. And you may know them for a couple missions at most. You know this particular npc since Coruscant. I don't know. I find it a hard decision to make. I am going out to watch the Hobbit in IMAX today so I will think on this decision during the day. (My Vanguard is right at the decision juncture yet to make her choice)

I had actually thought of that, but some of the armour sets from heroics or flashpoints are BOP, and therefore cannot be placed onto the GTN.

Wow... argumentative much? No of course not. I will repeat the question using different wording. Does anyone KNOW of a custom chest piece that looks nice for a level 43 Trooper, that does not have the huge box on the back.

That is why im here. You have no idea how tedious and time consuming that is.

I am looking for a custom armour for a Trooper WHO IS LEVEL 43 right now - for the chest slot that does NOT have the ridiculous square box on the back. If anyone knows of a chest piece a Trooper can obtain that looks appropriate to a Trooper that does NOT have the box on the back, please detail where i should go to obtain it.

And people wonder why players are leaving this game.

Yes, it does suck quite a bit. I imagine when the two PVE servers we have over here merge, I will have to rename my characters again. At least some of them anyway. Perhaps even the same ones i was forced to rename after the transfer.
