  1. both class stories are equally bad. as a character, though, at least inquisitor acts amusing from time to time, whereas consular is as bland, impersonal and forgettable as possible. consular is overall not exciting at all, and dark side consular makes everything hilariously wrong because the jedi council completely ignores everything you've screwed up. you're not really doing some sort of "spiritual journey" or "personal story" as well, you run galactic-wide errands, that's all. you have no authority of your own. have fun curing space aids and doing stuff that republic diplomats should do but instead they just sit on your ship and complain. if you play a shadow advanced class everything that happens in the class story makes even less sense (i went with the least sensible combination of DS shadow and witnessed the whole story falling apart like a cardboard house). inquisitor is that type of guy/girl who gets his/hers backside kicked constantly only to be rescued by someone else. sure, you get to do a lot of hilariously evil things and almost always have the option to shock someone with lightning, but it's only the character him/herself that could make the story somewhat amusing. at first you go on a galactic-wide fetch quest, and after that you bust some ghosts and go on a spiritual journey of force lightning more people into submission. whole story feels incredibly underwhelming.
  2. actually when s1 ranked rewards were released i've more or less ceased doing ranked. i hoped they would at least re-release pvp armour models that you can't obtain anymore but instead they've slapped a bunch of blinking lights on existing gear. wow, so creative and FLASHY. obroan gear is hella ugly and looks like some sort of wookiee fur, but even if it's wookiee fur overall design doesn't look like it belongs in star wars at all.
  3. pfffhahahahahha, now you "pretend" you care, but only "pretend", since you're so obviously not actually going to do anything. very cute.
  4. because pointless violence is fun. if it isn't, you're doing something wrong.
  5. i hate how twi'leks look in the game, everyone should stop playing them. REMOVE TWI'LEK BIOWARE! STOP THE TWI'LEK PANDERING! their lekku aren't long enough and they just dangle behind their back like two *3**ses not to mention they clip through things in a weird way during cutscenes, that looks lewd, it insults my virginal eyes! no head bumps, head looks so skimpy! and where are the pointy teeth and claws? wow this is so insulting.
  6. as a sorc, you rely on your teammates the most. you're the ultimate support character. while those sorc players might be really good, it's not only their own merit, but also the skills of the healer/tank/other dps on their team. sorc is always the first one to be targeted, because everyone knows you're an easy kill; if you play with a team that realizes this and at least tries to keep opponents off your back, they're the one who deserve praise. not you.
  7. engaging and thrilling space content? in swtor? wait, i thought the game was about romancing your companions and killing 50 npcs on oricon to complete a daily...
  8. i can't say much about pve dps sorc, i've only ever seen 1 sorc dps who raids. GEE I WONDER WHY! as for pvp, prepare to die a lot until you learn that you're supposed to do these things: 1) bring a mara with you, so when you're attacked you have a slight chance that attackers will focus on mara first. also mara can boost your second tactic, see below: 2) run away like a chicken. watch your force speed cooldown closely, running away with your life is better than dying anyway. it's not a cowardly act – it's called "tactical retreat". 3) that bubble thing you get at lvl 51 is your emergency stun breaker. other than that, you're just delaying your inevitable death 1,5 seconds after the bubble thing runs out. don't expect healers to heal you much, you're basically a sponge sucking away their heals for nothing in return. at least mara has their speed thing. 4) die once you run out of resources. overall if you don't hesitate being a coward and a rather treacherous one at that, sorc is pretty good.
  9. i really like BH's ship, mantis. it's fairly small and looks pretty ugly but i still like it so much! the lore behind it makes it even better. and the fact that you steal it. hate running around in smuggler's ship, although i like XS freighter as well cause it reminds me of ebon hawk and millennium falcon. agent's ship is the most posh and i really like its interior design. trooper one looks really silly. jedi ship is horrible. have no opinion on fury, not a big fan of it.
  10. you need it and a magnetic gun (can be bought on alderaan for 10k) to get to the fleet's holocron which provides +10 to all stats. it's only available to lvl 45+ characters though.
  11. bounty hunters have the absolute best companion, a jawa named blizz. he is also a tank. UTINI! gault might as well be my second favourite, i really like his sarcastic comments and attitude. BHs also have the worst companion, and that's skadge who's rude and looks like a pile of rotting slime. i don't really give a damn about him. actually... no, i do, i hate him for standing there in my ship. but at least he's silent, not like the goddamned droid who paints my quarters every time my BH takes the shore leave.
  12. eh, i thought torian was kinda cool. i didn't think he was annoying or whiny at all, he and my BH are best bros ever. it was thana who was downright annoying. my BH just messed around with her and the angrier she grew, the more hilarious it got. didn't even bother with killing her because her angry sith act was so childish... although i did kill her with my SW because she was the type of sith my SW hated the most, mwahaha. wait till you get skadge. that's where disappointment kicks in. i'd rather get another blizz (hell, i'd actually swap every companion with blizz), or no fifth companion at all.
  13. wow, everyone's being so overdramatic, woah. it's baras you're actually supposed to somewhat hate, not quinn (it's my opinion and i don't force it or claim it to be the only true one). he was the one that outmanoeuvred you, outsmarted you and infiltrated your henchmen circle. hmm, on the other hand, maybe i'm being so easy-going because i was totally expecting betrayal around every corner, playing a sith and all. it was a bit of a gamebreaking moment for me, but actually it was one that made it worth playing. i really like when characters that tag along with your protagonists are not just mindless drones who follow you around and agree with you and will never ever think about crossing your path, but actually are individuals with their own devious minds, schemes and backstories. err, i'm generalizing and drifting away, but what i mean is, it's only a videogame. besides, quinn is really useful for a SW class as a healer since SW is the only class that has no healing abilities no matter how you roll it. the option to kill him, if it ever made it to the final version of the game, would completely twist and turn all the balance.
  14. I'll be playing till i level my agent and JK up to 50 which will take me about 1.5 months (already have lvl 50 BH and SW). i'll probably quit then if endgame has nothing better to offer, PVE/PVP-wise. because current endgame content is very boring and repetitive and the only reason i'm still having fun is my guildmates and friends i play with. i'm not saying SWTOR is bad, it's just that when you hit level cap there's not much to do. i'll be back in... a year if this game will still have any people left playing it.
  15. Agent's story is probably the best, with lots of twists and turns of events. BH is a very solid one (also I personally really like mandalorians), and this class has the best companions (personality-wise) except Skadge. Warrior's story is predictable, but that doesn't make it worse than agent's and BH's ones; hell, the characters you encounter on your path to glory are unforgettable (my favourites are Baras and Darth Vowrawn, such a charming sith gentleman!), and playing a neutral/lawful evil-oriented SW is more rewarding than going full darkside psycho mode. Avoid Inquisitor. It's really boring and makes zero sense most of time.
