  1. I have had this exact thing happen to me a few times over the past 2 days. I had it happen twice today. A level 12 sniper did it to me about an hour ago. It has to be a bug and it seems that some people are figuring out how to recreate it (as much as i have had it happen to me). Its just as the OP says you get perma stun/mezzed and even damage wont break it. I did think it was me at first because i lag, but it has happened too much and only from snipers for it to be me. Hopefully BW will notice it and fix it, but i doubt it. The way thing are going i am just going to reroll empire because it seems that it what they want everyone to do.
  2. Can you explain how to do this? or is it specifically a Nostromo or Naga device thing. If I could macro abilities like that without the Nostromo or Naga that would help me out a lot.
  3. ^ This. OP, either play both games or do your research and get it right. Even WAR has immunity timers, though shorter than 1 minute, per the type of CC you get hit with. There is definitely way too much CC in SWTOR in its current form. If you get hit with a type a cc, it should last it's specified duration, then you should be immune to that type of CC for at least 30 seconds. The resolve bar is a joke, broken, and just a piece of garbage. But, for those of you who love getting chain stunned, mezzed, rooted, and snared ad nauseum, then by all means keep preaching that the CC system is just wonderful. As someone said earlier, the only type of CC immunity in this game is death.

  6. So, im a level 35 guardian and I just picked up a purple vibrosword on the AH. The reason i did was because it was better weapon damage listed on it than any lightsaber i could find my level. The main difference i noticed was that the vibrosword is kinetic damage vs the lightsaber being energy damage. I could not find the sword on torhead to link it and im at work right now so i cant look up the name and stats etc. But, i do know it was crafted. The one thing i dont know and havent tested is if energy damage does any more damage than kinetic or if one type of damage is mitigated more. If someone knows the answer to that, that would be way helpful.
  7. I'm a republic player, lvl 32 Jedi Guardian - a class with some issues, and I have enjoyed the game decently enough, but with the fiasco of 1.1 I have canceled as well. If they do a roll back and valor reset today, and a major bug fixing patch in the next few days I will resub. They have the manpower to pull this off if they actually make their staff work.
  8. All of you who are saying that the OP needs to get good have either not played the class or are just completely oblivious. Knights and Maras are definitely underpowered at the moment. Those of you that are getting beat by them on other classes are either terribad or that knight or mara out levels you by 20 levels or so. The class shouldnt have to wait until it in the 30s to be on par with other classes that can faceroll at level 12. The damage a knight does is subpar for what a melee class should be doing. I do think the tank spec of both classes are semi decent but they still need some improvement as well. They really need to boost the damage of knights/maras so they are on par with what a ranged heavy armor class like the Bh and Trooper can do. And one other fix i would suggest is to shorten the minimum range on force leap so there is less of a dead zone that people can stand in and root/ snare you in and you cant even get to them. I will add that it seems most of the other classes are balanced. I dont think anyhing really needs a nerf (though they do need to add a cc immunity timer so you cannot be chain stunned to death), but it is pretty much a fact that knights and maras need a buff.
