  1. I just logged in today for the first time since 2.0. Now a brief background, I left the game over a year ago and came back about two weeks ago. I read the forums, checked out the templates, and it seemed as if Annihilation was the way to go for a PVP spec. So, I allocated my points and went to town. It was fun and I was learning the game again. Logged in today and of course my points have all been reset, the trees are changed, and I have to do all this freaking research to figure out what is going to be the best PVP spec again. It looks like Annihilation is gone, from what you all are saying and the debate is between Carnage and Rage. If I get this right Rage has more AOE damage but Rage is "easily" countered. Carnage is close in terms of damage and you can hit on the move, making it hard to kite. Is that correct? Our guild is pretty much dead so there are not a lot of us online anymore. I know the game is set up for warzones but being an oldschool SWG player I prefer open world PVP and enjoy scouring the galaxy for red dots to attack. Do I have the pro's and con's properly identified? Any suggestions?

  3. One trick is to get your bags early. Collect your warzone comms, trade em for merc comms, buy your PVP bag, rinse and repeat but dont open your bags until you hit 50.
  4. There have to be people interested in mass PVP, this is a PVP Server after all!

  6. World PVP needs improvements but it still my favorite way to play. If your an Imp guild hit me up to coordinate some things. If your a Republic guild and want to rumble hit me up as well.
  7. I have heard the complaints about world PVP and yet that is still the type of playstyle that myself and my guild (Servants of Darkness) prefer. I am looking for Imperial guilds to ally with and I am looking for Republic guilds to try and coordinate some PVP. I think manufactured PVP sucks but at this point, we are going crazy looking for someone to fight (in decent numbers). If you are interested hit me up with a PM. For the Empire!
  8. As much as I am enjoying this game, the fact that keeps nagging in the back of my mind is what are we going to do to entertain ourselves after we level up? in SWG you and your guild wrote your own story, did your own thing, made your own adventures. PVP was real. Nothing was controlled, there was a real economy that matched real world economic affects. I keep finding myself missing so many things from SWG as I play this game. The one thing I am happy for is our guild has reconstituted itself after our years of wandering aimlessly after SWG published the NGE. No cantinas to hang out in (not ones that matter anyhow), no banks, no fly wherever you want in space, no travel wherever you want on any planet, no cities, no homes, no guild halls, no shops, no planetary control, no player bases to destroy, no.... well I better stop whining.... there will probably never be another SWG. Thank God for Bioware and SWTOR.
  9. Ashamon and many of the original SITH/DARK members are on Terentatek.
  10. Killing other toons and getting hate tells afterwords is reward enough for me.
